Hi there,

This is Andrea from Spain.

I find hard to talk about spirituality with others because sometimes I feel people judge what I think.

Yeah,

I feel as an idiot.

So the situation makes me feel ashamed about the fact of being involved in this topic.

So my question is,

How could a person deal with this?

Being a spiritual seeker today can be challenging.

Not only because we have established religions that in many ways have taken ownership of the definitions of what spirituality is and what it should be,

Or old traditions that also have their definitions and their ownership.

But it's also because we live in a civilization where there is very little room for spiritual reflection.

And often we can feel that we are out of place.

Sometimes we can feel that we're on the wrong planet,

We're definitely in the wrong civilization.

Because we may operate from different values,

We have different interests,

We see things differently.

And we can feel out of place and often get this sense that I can't be myself,

I can't express what I really think and what I really feel because people will look at me a certain way.

People come to me all the time and tell stories about how they feel.

They can share the fact that they are spiritual seekers or that they have spiritual practices.

And yet,

More and more people on this planet are starting to connect to a freer spirituality.

It's natural.

It's part of the evolution of humans.

Because up till now,

Humans have mostly been in what we refer to as the horizontal consciousness,

Which is mostly the biological linear consciousness where the I-ness is being created in the brain.

And the consciousness,

First of all,

Is a biological process.

What is happening is that there is a collective opening on this planet.

There is a gradual evolution of humans where what we refer to as the vertical consciousness has been introduced.

The vertical consciousness is the spiritual one,

As we might define it as,

Where you as soul,

Or essence,

Or atma,

Or whatever we want to call it,

Is starting to come through.

And where the discussions people have within themselves often will be the discussions between the horizontal and the vertical consciousness.

The vertical still being a tiny voice and the horizontal being almost everything.

But it is starting to change.

We are on different levels in this process.

And people that define themselves as being in the process of awakening,

They have activated more of that vertical consciousness.

And that changes everything.

Because it means that you don't relate to yourself and your body in this manifested life the same way as people,

Individuals,

In the horizontal consciousness.

Because they just relate to this.

And the only way they can connect with anything outside of this is through belief systems.

They make up stories about what's beyond this reality because they don't have active access to it.

This is why we have religions.

Because when you don't have access,

You make up stories.

It's just like if you haven't traveled much,

You relate to other countries based on what you imagine.

You talk about other people,

Other countries as them,

And they're like that,

And they do this.

And you really don't know.

Once you go there,

Everything changes.

You understand it.

You relate to it.

You interact.

You become part of it.

It becomes part of you and your journey.

And it's like that.

When you start waking up spiritually,

You begin to relate to these other levels of consciousness and reality.

And that becomes part of your normality.

So you don't just relate to how humans live in their culture.

You also open up to higher perspectives that go beyond this life form,

This culture,

And this civilization.

You might even start recalling past lives,

Other dimensional expressions that are part of your existence,

And they start flowing through,

And they start influencing your mind and the I-ness,

Even how you define yourself as a person,

And you feel a little bit out of place,

And you want to find answers,

And because you have questions,

Does that make you an idiot?

For other people,

Maybe,

Because it might be that to them,

Being a spiritual seeker is being an idiot because this is all they can relate to,

And they don't relate to the fact that there's many different realities beyond this.

They have no active sense of it,

No active experience of it,

So it's not relevant to them.

So you are then talking about things that to them are non-existent because it's non-existent to their active experience of life,

And that's what they judge it and judge you by.

That's fine.

Part of waking up spiritually is crowing out of relating to how other people see their lives,

Not using their stories,

Their understandings,

Their beliefs,

As a template for your own life,

But standing firmly in your journey and what you can sense,

What you can experience.

And sometimes,

In your community,

You might be the only one sensing reality the way you do.

That's fine.

The more you grow,

The more you will get the feeling that you are the only one awake in an environment filled with beings asleep,

Or the only one who can see and hear in a reality filled with beings who are blind and deaf.

And just like if you were the only one being able to see and hear,

That would make no sense to people who are blind and deaf.

You have to let them be.

Remember,

When you share what's going on with you spiritually,

It might disturb them,

And you have to look at,

Why am I doing this?

Is it because you seek their approval?

Is it because you want them to confirm you and see you and include you?

Then,

You're still a sheep.

You still want to be part of the group and group consciousness.

This is one of the painful aspects of growing up,

Is realizing that no one can truly understand you,

And therefore they will judge you.

And that's fine.

And letting them do that.

When expressing from your level of consciousness,

Be prepared that you will be judged and ridiculed.

But do it anyway,

Because there are so many people that have started their process of seeking spiritually and trying to connect to the world behind the veil,

And they have no one to talk to.

And by being vocal,

By sharing,

By being visible,

We make this normal.

I always say that we are the new normal.

We're just a little bit ahead of everyone else.

We are the pioneers.

We are the modern explorers,

Because consciousness is a new frontier.

That's where all the exploration is going on.

We understand,

Even in physics and science,

That our own consciousness,

Our own mind,

Is what is limiting us.

And expanding spiritual awareness does influence the mind.

It changes the intelligence.

It enables us to understand the universe in ways we have never been able to understand before.

Collectively,

That is how we lift the consciousness and bring the planet forward.

So,

Are you an idiot?

Of course you are,

To them.

And that's okay.

Let yourself be that idiot.

It doesn't matter.

What they think is not your business.

Follow your own inner voice.

Follow that call that you can feel and sense from the inside.

Follow that gravitational pull that you can sense,

Pulling you forward.

No matter what you do,

What you think,

How much resistance you have,

You are still being pulled forward.

And you know it.

And when you sense and when you connect to that gravitational pull,

Nothing else matters.

Because you do grow.

You do get new insights.

You do experience that you are growing as an individual,

As consciousness,

As a person.

You mature.

You have more insights.

You get these bigger pictures,

Contexts.

You are a pioneer.

By being devoted to your own spiritual journey,

You are assisting the planet.

So keep focused.

Be dedicated.

And be absolutely aligned with what you understand to be true.
