Meditation Happens! Finding What Makes You Go Beyond Space & Time?
by Avani Pandya
When we choose to create silence within, we try to make the external environment and our self conducive to take steps towards meditation and allow meditation to happen. When meditation happens it’s a phenomenon which is beyond space and time, so let’s bring awareness in our meditation to the question, what’s your personality-your Prakriti, which allows you to lose sense of time and space allowing you to be in that beautiful divine gap which is the true source of infinite possibilities of our life.

And now,
If you really want to buy a paradox on YouTube whatever it might be I believe Let's gently close our eyes.
Softly closing our eyes,
Not squeezing,
Not scrunching.
Being aware of the sense of touch between the eyelids.
Checking our posture.
With our neck and spine aligned.
Feet firmly grounded connected to Mother Earth if you're sitting on a chair.
Your sit bones firmly grounded connected if you're sitting on your mat.
Or gently letting go of your physical and emotional weight surrendering to Mother Earth.
If you're simply lying down with your relaxed shoulders.
In all the three positions,
Align your neck and spine for this free flow of your breath.
Effortless.
Smooth.
Nice and long.
As you gently bring your right hand onto your chest,
Left hand just below and around our navel.
Again,
Keeping awareness to the sense of touch at your palms.
Shifting awareness to your breath as it goes in and out through your nostrils.
As you inhale,
Let your belly rise.
As you exhale,
Let your belly go in.
Inhale and exhale at your own pace,
At your own comfort.
For bringing awareness to allow meditation to happen.
To allow the yoga to happen.
For meditation to happen is to go beyond space and time.
Is to touch that inner divinity,
Inner wisdom,
Inner soul,
Inner stillness.
However you call it.
When meditation happens,
It's beyond space and time.
We truly do not know unless we are out of it.
So we can never say we are meditating.
We can say we are going towards meditation to allow meditation to happen.
We are allowing yoga to happen to connect our mind,
Body and soul.
So to bring awareness,
What makes you go beyond space and time?
Is to ask ourselves,
What is our prakriti?
Our body type,
Our emotional type.
Are you the one who is extremely devotional?
Allowing the higher universe,
Higher soul,
Higher divinity to take care of everything,
You just simply surrender and let it go.
Do you pray a lot?
Are you always in that devotional,
Singing,
Internal dialogue with the higher divinity?
Do you go beyond space and time being devotional,
Doing bhakti?
Which ancient seekers and sages is defined as bhakti yoga?
Is that you?
Or the second one out of four types?
Is the karma yogi?
Do you go beyond space and time?
Have you experienced losing time when you are doing selfless action for others,
For yourself?
Are you always active,
Doing karmas,
Doing actions?
Are you the person who volunteers to bring the biggest and the hardest dish in the potluck?
Are you the person who stays in that party to help clean out?
Are you this active person that your friends can count on?
You would be there first if they needed,
Physically.
Are you that selfless karma yogi where you lose your space and time,
The sense of time when you are in the action,
Selfless action?
Continue to be with your breath as you are asking this,
Bringing awareness to yourself.
Or are you that third type which engross themselves in reading,
In intellectual discussion,
In education,
In the wisdom,
Knowledge,
Sharing and acquiring?
For the purpose of humanity,
For the higher purpose,
Not to the discussions which makes no sense.
But in this beautiful sharing and acquiring of knowledge and wisdom,
For the higher purpose,
Do you find yourself always reading in one corner,
Losing space and time?
Do you find yourself sharing,
Discussing this beautiful knowledge about the world,
About the nature,
About the mystery of life?
Then you are Gnyana yogi that could be a path for you,
For meditation to happen,
Yoga to happen,
To bring awareness to what makes you lose sense of space and time to you.
Or are you the person who is very aware of yamas and niyamas which are your personal righteous behavior,
Social truthful behaviors?
Or very disciplined person being aware of the prana,
Doing pranayama physically,
Keeping your physical body healthy with physical exercise,
Yoga asanas?
Do you follow through those regime to keep your mind and body healthy?
Do you take a path of sitting quietly and meditating,
Doing pratyahara,
Taking the five senses and five actions inward towards higher purpose?
Are you that person allowing meditation and yoga to happen to you?
What is your prominent personality,
Prakrti?
As you gently bring both your palms back to your lap,
Relaxing your shoulders back in time.
As you gently connect with your entire body,
Trillions of cells.
Knowing your body type,
Emotional type,
Being aware,
Today keeping that awareness,
We also bring into our awareness that knowing that prominent,
Prakrti and prominent type of yours.
Is your path towards meditation,
Is your path towards yoga,
Is your path towards yogicchit-vrttini-rod?
Is your path for mon,
Mon,
Internal silence?
Is your path for allowing the divinity within,
The inner wisdom in our stillness to express through you?
That is your path.
But do know,
Maybe that's 75%.
You do need to add that another 25% with the other three path.
You do need to acquire some knowledge and wisdom.
You do need to let it go and be with the universe,
Be with the higher divinity.
You do need to follow discipline of social and personal righteous and truthful behaviours to keep our body and prana healthy.
By pranayamas,
By asanas,
We do need to take our internal journey,
Keeping our senses in check,
Keeping our actions nourishing,
Keeping that one pointed dharana attention.
For allowing meditation and samadhi to take place.
So do know your prominent prakruti and support with the other three path for this fourfold yoga,
Allowing meditation to happen.
As you are gently settled with your awareness wherever it's coming to you,
At your forehead or maybe watching your breath in and out through your nostrils.
Or maybe simply settling at your heart centre.
Be with your breath.
As we are bringing our awareness to our prakruti,
To our type.
For meditation to happen,
To yoga to happen.
Let's bring awareness and ask yourself,
Why do you want this meditation to happen?
Why do you want this union of mind,
Body and soul,
The yoga to happen?
What are you looking for?
What are you looking for?
In the Vedic knowledge,
We want to allow this meditation to happen.
To unravel our true nature.
To know who we really are.
To realize that we are not our mind,
Body,
Thoughts,
Emotions.
To experience that we are this divine source.
To feel,
Experience,
Having our intuition.
To know that we encompass this divine soul,
The atma in this beautiful body.
Which ultimately wants to union with the higher consciousness,
The brahma.
What's that has to do with our physical world that we are in right now?
What does that mean for allowing meditation to happen in this physical world?
What's in for me?
To that,
When we start expressing our unbounded true nature.
When we align with the cosmos,
With this beautiful divine energy manifesting through us.
Everything flows in your life.
Everything comes to you which is nourishing.
Nourishing events.
Nourishing people.
Nourishing things.
Nourishing interactions.
Everything falls in its place.
Because now,
Everything is happening not through your mind,
The limited mind.
But through your awareness,
Through this unbounded divinity.
What more we want in this physical world if we have that?
So that would be a beautiful reason for allowing meditation to happen.
As you gently shift your awareness either from your forehead or your base of your nostrils or your from heart center to your entire body,
Trillions of cells.
Feeling that they have been awakened with an awareness of what your true prakruti is.
Your dominant personality is.
Is it devotional?
Is it action oriented karma yogi?
Is it wisdom oriented jnana yogi?
Is it raj yogi following the discipline of yoga and meditation?
And then combining with all the other.
Again,
For meditation to happen,
Yoga to happen.
To live life efficiently for enhancing our material,
Emotional,
Physical and spiritual well-being.
Allow it to settle in your astral realm.
Let's take awareness to big inhales and exhales.
Allowing ourself shifting from this raj yogi,
Following our breath,
Doing meditation,
Rather going towards meditation.
To this devotional yogi,
Allowing yourself to let go and surrender to the higher universe,
To higher soul.
Allowing these details of your opening to awareness to your prakruti to happen.
The unfoldment of you keeping that awareness.
Simply let it go.
Couple of again big inhales,
Exhale out.
And gently bring both your palms together.
Go ahead and rub them.
Gently placing onto your eyes.
Moving to the crown of your head and gently massaging from head to toe.
Taking your own time,
Neck and throat.
Your shoulders,
Your elbows,
Your wrist.
Lower back,
Your knees,
Your ankles.
Back to your eyes.
And gently opening your eyes when you feel comfortable.
And I thank you for joining.
Always extremely grateful.
Thank you,
Thank you.
Thank you,
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
