Welcome beautiful sister to our sensual meditation.

I will guide you through a meditation where we will focus on our different senses to really tune inwards and to be present with all that is.

For your meditation I invite you to find a comfortable seat.

You can sit on a pillow or a chair,

Anything that helps you to stay uplifted in your spine.

So you stay connected to both channels,

The earth and the sky.

And whenever you're ready I invite you to slowly close your eyelids down.

Make any last little adjustments to tune inwards to find the most comfortable upright seated position that is possible and available for you right now.

And because we want to tune inwards I invite you to place your palms on your thighs so your hands are facing towards your body.

That helps you to stay focused inwards more easily.

Allow the weight of your body to melt down towards the floor to release any tension and feeling of holding on in your body.

Notice the sensation,

The feeling of groundedness,

Of safety while you release your body weight into the floor.

And from this stable base of your legs I invite you to lengthen your spine even more upright towards the sky.

Feel the crown of your head lifting and allow the shoulders to drop down to release any tension that's stored in this area of your body.

And to dive even deeper into your beautiful temple we're gonna take ten deep breaths in through the nose into your belly.

Slow and steady exhale through the mouth.

When you're empty allow your inhale to raise your belly and exhale to release your body weight even more.

Deep inhale and release.

You can make any sound and when you're empty big inhale,

Deep inhalation through your nose,

Feel your belly expanding and breathe out.

Let it go.

Continue in this pace until you reach the tenth breathing cycle.

In through your nose and slow steady out breath through your mouth.

For me it's the last one,

Continue until you finish the tenth round of your breathing cycle.

Whenever you're ready keep your eyes closed and just return to your natural breathing rhythm.

Notice how your whole system is calming down more and more.

And the first sense we will focus on today is your sense of hearing.

So in this moment I invite you to listen to the sounds around you.

Everything that you can hear right now.

You can hear my voice,

The calming music but what else is in this moment that you can notice,

That you can hear when you become really present.

What is the loudest noise you can hear?

What is the subtle voice right now that you can become aware of?

There's so much noise around us all day that we don't even notice these subtle little voices that I hear all the time.

And from the surrounding noises become aware of your own body noises that you create in every single moment.

The sound of your breath.

Maybe you can even hear the sound of your heartbeat.

Take a moment to appreciate this gift,

The ability to hear that allows us to feel pleasure in our life through the ability to hear noises and sound.

To hear words from a loved one.

To hear the emotion of a song.

To hear the beauty of nature when the leaves are moving in the wind,

The ocean that calms our spirit.

Become aware what a gift it is to be alive,

To appreciate this beautiful sense of your body,

Your whole being.

And the next sense I would like to touch on,

I already said it,

Is the sense of touch.

So bring your hands to your floor next to you.

When you're sitting on a chair bring it onto the chair.

When you're sitting on the floor bring it to the ground below you.

And begin to feel the texture,

The temperature,

Everything that you can notice with the tips of your fingers.

Without attaching a story to it just become aware of it.

Just observe like a little child that touches this ground for the first time.

And notice how much more you can feel when you tune your senses inward and you focus your intention on this specific area.

And then move your fingertips to your thighs and knees,

Maybe you're very close.

And you can touch another body part.

Become aware of the sensation of your own beautiful touch.

Notice the temperature,

The structure of your skin,

This beautiful gift of receiving and giving touch at the same time.

And how much pleasure it can open up in your body by simply touching yourself in a very nurturing,

Loving way.

Release your hands back to your thighs,

Turning your palms downwards.

Become aware of your next sense,

The ability to smell.

Focus all your awareness on your sense of smell and notice if you can smell any sense in this moment.

Maybe you can smell something in your room or even your own body smell,

You can put your nose towards your arm,

Your hand.

Become really present with it,

Without naming it,

Without judging it,

By just observing it and soaking it all in.

And this is a really beautiful practice for the rest of your day to focus on the sense of smell in every step of your day.

Before you eat,

Take a moment to smell what you're gonna put into your beautiful body.

When you go outside in nature,

Notice the smell of the snow,

The rain,

The sun,

The grass,

The trees,

The river.

Everything that is surrounding you without rushing,

Taking a few moments consciously in your everyday life to become present with all of your surroundings,

Its smells,

Its textures,

Its sounds,

To drop your thoughts and become really present with all the beauty around you.

And then slowly from your sense of smell,

Come to your ability to taste.

You can open your mouth and notice if you can taste anything in your mouth right now.

Maybe you just brushed your teeth and you can still taste your toothpaste.

Maybe you just had tea or coffee and you can still taste.

If you can't taste anything,

You can lick your skin.

Notice if it tastes salty or how your own skin tastes like in this moment.

And same exercise for distance.

If you continue with the rest of your day,

I invite you to really tune inwards from moment to moment to remind yourself to slow down,

To drop your thoughts and to become aware of the smell,

The taste,

The sound,

The texture before you eat or do anything today.

And the last sense for today is one of the most precious ones,

Your ability to see.

And even with your eyes closed,

You can imagine a place in nature right now.

And notice how every single sense activates memories,

Emotions,

Thoughts around it.

And that can be a beautiful thing,

But I invite you to just observe the space in your mind's eye.

What do you see?

Where are you?

Can you see the beauty in every single detail of nature?

And from here slowly bring your awareness into your whole body,

Ground yourself through your seat.

Bring your hands in front of your heart space.

Take a deep inhale through your nose,

Sigh it out,

Make a sound and bow your head towards your fingertips.

And take a moment to give thanks to all of your senses.

What a gift it is to be sensual,

To be able to see,

To hear,

To smell,

To taste and to touch.

Feel this warm sensation of gratitude spreading in your heart space before you slowly open your eyes.

Stay connected to this feeling and become aware of your surrounding.

Take a few moments to arrive and to continue the rest of your day with this presence and to focus on your senses.

And I'll see you next week.
