Welcome to this guided meditation focused on embracing a gentle pace.

My name is Zoe and I'm glad you're here sharing a few moments of stillness with me.

Together let's find a comfortable seated position or lie down and allow yourself to settle in.

Close your eyes softly and take a deep belly breath in.

Feel the air fill your lungs and then exhale slowly releasing any tension you may be holding on to.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine yourself stepping away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Paint a picture of yourself in a serene peaceful place where you can truly unwind.

Allow your mind to slow down,

Watching the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Inhale deeply and as you breathe out,

Let go of the busyness and this need to rush.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more grounded and centered.

Let go of any thoughts that are racing through your mind and focus on the present moment.

Thoughts will come and they will go.

Embrace this gentle pace,

Allowing yourself to simply be.

As I guide you here,

I let you know that there's no need to hurry or worry.

This time is for you to relax and restore.

Feel the calmness wash over you,

Soothing your mind and body.

Let this moment of repose become a part of you,

Carrying it with you beyond this meditation.

Now take a few moments to simply enjoy this state of peace.

Embrace the stillness and the gentle pace you have created for yourself.

When you're ready,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Gently stretching your body.

Take one final deep breath in and as you exhale,

Slowly open your eyes.

Carry this sense of calm and gentle pace with you as you go about your day,

Knowing that you can always return to this meditation whenever you need to slow down and deflate.
