This short meditation invites you out of your head and back into your body. Through simple awareness of weight, gravity, and physical sensation, you’ll reconnect with the feeling of being supported in the present moment. There’s no fixing or forcing, just gentle curiosity and noticing what’s already here. Especially helpful when you feel scattered, anxious, or overstimulated.

Hi and welcome to this quick drop into your body meditation.

This is great when you feel scattered or anxious or overstimulated or maybe in your head.

We're just going to be coming back to this present moment through the portal that is our bodies,

Through our experience of our physical presence.

So just take a moment to pause and get seated and allow your eyes to close down now.

Maybe taking one deep breath in through your nose and just letting everything go on the exhale.

Ah,

Maybe rolling the head or the shoulders.

If you feel tension there,

Maybe rolling the wrists or just taking a few hip rolls before we find a space of stillness and turning inward.

And first just feel your body heavy now on the surface that supports you.

Feel your body,

Feel the weight,

Feel the gravity.

And notice if you can sense this surface beneath you almost coming up to meet you.

Holding you.

Supporting you from below.

And bring your attention into our feet.

What do your feet feel like right now?

What do your toes feel like right now?

Can you sense the heaviness,

The weight of your toes?

Just live in your feet for a moment.

Noticing what sensations are there.

And now feeling into the hands.

Feeling the weight of the hands.

Any sensations in your hands?

Tingling,

Warmth,

Moisture,

Dryness.

What do your hands feel like right now?

And now feeling whole body awareness.

Noticing sensations.

Tingling,

Tightness.

Just get curious and notice what sensations call you into your body.

Allowing it all to be just as it is.

Letting go of judgment.

Just noticing with a curious eye and an open heart.

What's here right now?

Taking one slow breath in through the nose.

And one gentle sigh.

Out the mouth.

We'll come back and open our eyes.

Still maintaining a tether to our body awareness.

I wish you much peace and light as you move throughout the rest of your day.

Until next time.
