Please do not drive a car or operate any machinery while listening to this recording because it's very relaxing.
So go ahead either seated or lying down and find a very comfortable position as we begin to explore the world of making healthy food choices.
So go ahead and just allow yourself to be present and you can make the choice of whether you listen to every single word that I say very astutely,
Very attentively,
Listening to every single word that I say.
Or maybe you relax so much that perhaps you listen for a little bit or maybe listen very little at all.
And know that either choice is absolutely what's right and perfect for you because ultimately the subconscious mind is always listening.
And that's really where we're looking to have a conversation today.
So as we begin,
Let's start our relaxation process with a brief breathing exercise and then we'll get ready to relax.
Go ahead and begin by taking a nice deep inhalation.
And exhale,
Letting it all out.
Letting out everything that doesn't serve you.
Inhaling once again,
Holding it at the top.
Inhale once again and exhale everything out.
So one more time,
Inhaling deeply,
Holding it,
Taking one more sip of air and exhale.
This time,
Close your eyes all the way down.
Relax the top of your head.
Relax the forehead,
Smoothing out any creases.
Relax the tiny muscles next to your eyes.
Relax the jaw,
Letting it hang loose and slack.
Perhaps even removing the tongue from the top of the mouth,
Really relaxing here.
Relax the shoulders,
Easing them down away from the ears.
Relax the arms all the way through to the fingertips.
Relax the torso,
Breathing easily here.
Really releasing the torso,
Just letting it go.
Very good.
And relax the hips,
Sinking deeply.
Relax the thighs,
Even the kneecaps,
Relaxing and releasing.
Letting go here as you relax the calves,
All the way through to the bottoms of the feet,
Including all 10 toes.
Very,
Very good.
Bringing all of your focus and awareness now to your eyelids.
And notice just how good it feels to relax those eyelids.
And not now,
But when I tell you to,
You're going to try to open those eyes,
Noticing that it just feels good to leave them closed.
In fact,
Those eyes just want to stay closed.
So no matter how hard you try to open them,
They just want to stay closed.
So go ahead and give it a good try,
Really give it a good try to open those eyes.
And when you notice that it just feels good to leave them closed,
Go ahead and take a nice,
Deep letting go breath.
Relaxing,
Releasing,
Even deeper now.
And I wonder just how much you're already feeling relaxed.
In fact,
I wonder just how much you're able to relax every single muscle in your body now.
Imagine one singular cell in your body going completely limp and relaxed.
That's right.
And now look at domino effect.
Imagine all of the cells surrounding that one cell going completely limp and relaxed.
And repeating this domino effect until every single cell in your body and mind are completely limp and relaxed.
And noticing that this progressive relaxation has been brought on by you choosing to relax.
Because the truth is you are ultimately in control.
And it feels good to be in control,
Doesn't it?
And now that the body and mind are relaxed,
We want to expand that relaxation to the mind.
And even deeper.
In a moment you're going to notice that you're at the top of a beautiful staircase.
And this is a staircase that is perfect for you.
It may be a staircase that's made of ornate fixtures.
Or something simple made of reclaimed wood.
Or perhaps something else entirely like a rainfall or a rainbow.
Or something else entirely.
Whatever it is,
This staircase is perfect for you.
And it is perfectly safe to walk down.
In a moment I'm going to count down from 10 to 1.
And with each number that I say,
Each decreasing number that I say,
You'll take one step down on your beautiful staircase.
And at the bottom of your staircase awaits you,
Your safe place.
Your safe place is a place where you feel more safe and more comfortable than you have in a very long time.
Perhaps more safe and more comfortable than you've ever felt.
And it awaits you at the bottom of the staircase.
Your safe place may be a beach or a mountain top.
Or someplace else entirely.
It could be your favorite spot in your home currently.
Whatever it is,
Your safe place is absolutely perfect for you.
And it awaits you at the bottom of your staircase.
Getting ready to take your first step down now.
Ten.
Taking a step down,
Doubling your relaxation.
Nine.
Doubling your relaxation once again as you relax,
Release,
And let go even deeper now.
Eight.
Noticing just how good it feels to release,
To really relax and let go.
Knowing that this is your time to transform.
Seven.
In fact,
Simply by showing up here today,
You've already begun to transform.
You are indeed transforming.
And it feels good to be serving your highest and greatest good,
Doesn't it?
Eight,
Seven,
Six,
Five.
Doubling your relaxation here.
Noticing if the mind drifts and floats and drifts and floats.
Simply bring your focus and awareness back to the sound of my voice.
Allowing yourself to relax even deeper.
As you release and let go and prepare your mind for transformation.
Four.
Any sounds other than the sound of my voice simply take you deeper and deeper.
So the sounds of any other voices around you,
Or perhaps electronics beeping,
Cars,
Trucks,
Or trains honking,
Birds outside chirping,
Animals making noises,
Any and all sounds other than the sound of my voice simply remind you that all is well in the outside world.
Which allows you to relax even deeper and deeper.
Three.
Getting ready for your safe place.
Perhaps already feeling how good it feels to be close to that safe place.
Two.
Trusting what comes.
And one.
Be there now in your safe place.
And notice the colors there in your safe place.
And notice that you can control those colors.
That's right.
You can turn up the brightness of those colors,
Making them twice as bright,
Or perhaps twice as bold.
Or maybe even ten times as bright or ten times as bold.
And notice any sounds in your safe place.
Notice any scents or fragrances in your safe place.
And if so,
Take a nice deep letting go breath here.
Inhaling all that goodness.
Perhaps there is a healthy taste that's associated with your safe place,
Like a nice clean,
Clear,
Crisp glass of water.
And if so,
Go ahead and taste that healthy taste now.
Noticing how good it feels as it flows down deeper down.
Very good.
And here in your safe place,
You notice now that there are two very long tables before you.
One on either side.
And one of those tables is filled with the most delicious looking fruits,
Vegetables,
And clean,
Clear,
Crisp pictures of water.
Just all this beautiful bounty of delicious looking food,
Ripe from Mother Earth.
Really see,
Feel,
And experience this gorgeous table.
And notice all of the vibrant colors.
Perhaps there's even some fruits that you've never even seen before,
But they are absolutely vibrant and beautiful.
Just dripping with juice waiting for you to take a bite.
Take a moment to scan that beautiful table now.
And noticing this bounty of beautiful,
Fresh fruits,
Vibrant veggies,
And clean,
Clear,
Crisp pictures of water.
Just waiting for someone to pick them.
Good.
And now take a moment to notice the other table on the other side.
This table is filled with junk food.
That's right.
All the junk food,
The sweets,
The snacks.
Just overflowing with all of this junk food that perhaps once in your old narrative would have been tempting.
Perhaps it's cookies,
Ice cream,
Chips.
See that table now absolutely filled with junk food.
That's right.
And notice now the colors of that table.
Notice how dull and lifeless all that junk food is.
In fact,
It's almost homogeneous.
Almost all one color.
There may be a few outliers,
But for the most part,
All that junk food is pretty much the same color.
But it's dull.
In fact,
It's so dull,
It's almost lifeless.
Take a moment now and really scan that table and notice the lifelessness of that junk food.
Mm-hmm.
Now take a moment to look back at the vibrant fruit and veggie table and see how beautiful it is filled with different colors and leaves and fruits and flowers and beautiful deliciousness just inviting you to take a bite.
And turn back over to the junk food table and see its dull,
Ashy,
Dark,
Boring,
Lifeless food.
In fact,
It's so lifeless that you can see flies buzzing around,
Landing on all of the junk food and taking little bites and eating and doing all the things that flies do,
Flying all over this table of junk food.
And the flies are starting to take over this table of junk food because no one is touching the junk food table.
It's just so dull and lifeless.
So notice now that you have a basket in your hand.
That's right.
You have a basket.
And this basket is a picnic basket here designed for you for a beautiful,
Perfect picnic in your safe place.
And at this point,
Knowing that food is a fuel,
Go ahead and fill up your picnic basket with all of the beautiful,
Vibrant food from the fruit and veggie table.
Easily and effortlessly choosing the beautiful,
Vibrant food.
In fact,
It is no competition as you take one more glance over to the junk food table and noticing the swarm of flies absolutely taking over.
And it feels so good to have chosen the vibrant food table.
Go ahead and take a few moments here,
Taking your time to fill up your picnic basket with the most beautiful,
Delicious,
Vibrant looking food.
And once you've done that,
Go ahead and find yourself sitting down on your picnic blanket,
Perhaps taking out some of the delicious fruit and vegetables.
Picking out the most beautiful looking one to prepare your first bite,
Taking a bite in three,
Getting ready to trusting what comes and one.
Taking a luscious bite of your fruit or vegetable now,
Feeling that crisp and perhaps wiping that juice off of your chin or feeling it drip all the way down your elbow.
Just noticing the fruits of your labor.
That's right.
And with this gorgeous mouthful of vibrant food,
You chew slowly,
Easily and effortlessly.
In fact,
You chew so well and with such intention and mindfulness that you chew until all of the food is absolutely liquefied.
And as you swallow,
You see,
Feel and experience the nutrients of that food flowing down deeper down and feeling how good it feels to fuel your body with nutrients.
Good.
Very,
Very good.
And taking a few moments here to enjoy all that is within your picnic basket and noticing that with each mindful bite and with each liquid swallow.
You feel more and more aligned with your body,
Mind and spirit,
Knowing that you're fueling your body with the nutrients that it needs and wants.
It feels so good to know that you made that choice,
Doesn't it?
Very,
Very good.
And now that you have finished the last couple of bites of your picnic,
Go ahead and get up.
As you're going to see before you a mirror there in your safe place.
That's right.
And this mirror is a magical mirror,
As it allows you to imagine the you that you envision.
The you that is in alignment with your goals.
The you that you wish to be.
Perhaps that's fitting into the favorite pair of pants that you've been waiting to fit into.
Perhaps it's your skin clearing up and glowing.
Perhaps it's just feeling better about yourself and more loving towards yourself,
Knowing that you make healthy choices easily and effortlessly.
Whatever it is,
Whatever goal has brought you here today,
Go ahead and notice that this magical mirror is transforming your reflection to the you that you desire.
That's right.
See now as your reflection is transforming,
Shifting,
Melting into the you that you desire.
And see that you now standing before you easily and effortlessly.
And notice the expression on your face.
Perhaps taking a look down at your hands.
What you're wearing.
Taking a nice deep breath here.
And taking in this transformation and seeing how easy it was to envision that transformation.
And knowing that the mind knows no difference between the imagination and reality.
And knowing that you know that the you that you desire is already within reach.
In fact,
The transformation has already begun simply by you showing up here today.
Very,
Very good.
So perhaps smiling back at your reflection.
And noticing before you a door.
That's right.
So go ahead and walk up to the door.
Don't open the door yet.
You can open the door once I tell you to.
For now,
Just bring one hand on that door and preparing to walk through this door for the final time.
As ultimately this is a special door.
Yes,
This is a door of transformation.
As walking through the door and closing the door behind you allows you to close the door behind you on any old narratives and old stories that no longer serve you.
That's right.
With your hand on the door of transformation,
Go ahead and open the door of transformation now.
That's right.
And walking through this door of everlasting transformation now and feeling just how good it feels to step through into the other side.
On the other side,
Perhaps is an enlightened version of your safe place.
That's right.
It feels even more safe and more comforting,
More comfortable than you've ever felt,
Even more so than before.
And with your hands still on that door of everlasting transformation,
Close the door behind you.

You've closed the door behind you.
You've closed the door on old narratives.
You've closed the door on excuses.
You've closed the door on negativity.
You've closed the door on old narratives that no longer serve you.
Because the truth is,
You've seen the new version of you.
You've seen the transformed version of you.
And it is within arm's reach.
Because the ultimate truth is,
You make loving,
Healthy choices that honor yourself easily and effortlessly.
And you chew every bite until only liquid remains.
In fact,
As you swallow that nourishing liquid of every bite,
You know that the more you nourish your body,
The better you feel.
And all of that loving nourishment comes from one simple thing.
And that one simple thing is a loving,
Healthy choice.
And you know that you make loving,
Healthy choices that honor yourself easily and effortlessly.
Repeating out loud after me or silently within your mind.

Taking a few moments here and allowing those radiant,
