
Raising Confidence Meditation
This meditation is focused on raising your self-esteem, raising your confidence, and becoming empowered by that inner part of you called the core self, higher self, or simply that inner intuition that has helped you reach your goals already. Strengthing this inner part of yourself to raise your self-worth and be more confident in yourself to have the answers, to make decicions, or just to feel good about yourself and your abilities.

Welcome to this meditation where we will focus on enhancing your self-esteem to raise your confidence of yourself.
And let us start by setting your attention on your body and finding a comfortable seat.
As you become very open to suggestions allowing yourself to simply let go.
As you close your eyes now and begin to focus on your breath,
Just watch your breath now as you go ahead and breathe in through your nose.
And allow that breath,
That warm comforting breath to exhale through your nose again.
As you breathe in,
Notice your belly or chest very gently easily rise as you also watch it to fall down.
Noticing your muscles contracting or relaxing into that breath as you just wind down into it.
Relaxing deeper and deeper with each breath.
As you breathe in,
You exhale.
Calmness becomes stronger and stronger with each breath as you breathe.
Allowing it to take a very comfortable pace,
No need to force the breath.
Just allow it to relax deeply as you watch it.
It's almost as though you could watch a tree swaying in the distance,
Watching the leaves going back and forth,
Your breath goes back and forth relaxing.
Taking you deeper and deeper as you feel your body beginning to relax.
Starting from your head,
Feeling your head very comfortable,
Loose,
Supported to your shoulders.
Feeling your shoulders becoming very loose,
Very limp.
Allowing them to relax down as if a weight was simply lifted from those shoulders.
Causing your arms to become more loose,
More limp.
As though they are like ragdolls,
Just completely relaxing your body.
As you can feel your belly,
Your back,
Your torso and your spine all just simply relaxing.
As your body takes this perfect position of support,
Either there in your seat or lying in your bed.
Relaxing from your head,
Going down,
Toward your hips,
Relaxing very calmly.
Feeling your thighs very loose,
Very limp from skin all the way down to your bones.
Beginning just to relax.
Going down,
Toward your knees,
Down all the way down to your toes.
Just relaxing every inch of your body,
Allowing any tensions to simply melt away.
As you can feel your mind relaxing,
Focusing your attention on my voice.
No need to have any thoughts,
Concerns or worries about anything,
So if any thoughts,
Concerns or worries about anything beyond my words,
Come into that head,
Just go ahead and imagine as if you could place those thoughts,
Concerns or worries onto clouds.
If they do not serve you,
Go ahead and let them go as you continue to focus on this meditation,
On my voice.
Which will continue to guide you deeper and deeper as you now feel your body more and more relaxed.
Now I want you to imagine as if you are standing at the edge of a lake.
This is a big,
Beautiful,
Crystal blue lake.
It's a lake that is so clear you could see to the very clear bottom of the lake.
The top of the lake is so serene,
So calm.
No ripples or waves in this lake,
It is such a calm lake.
As you stare in the distance upon it,
You can see very far in the distance,
Maybe mountains,
Maybe a distant scene of a forest or a park.
But go ahead and look at this lake.
As anything in the distance begins to fade,
Focusing in this lake,
As you can see to the very bottom of it,
Pebbles and rocks at the bottom.
Now I want you to go ahead and imagine as if you notice pebbles and rocks right there where you're standing.
As you pick up a pebble or a rock,
Go ahead and throw this into the lake.
As you do,
You notice the ripples being formed as you toss this rock into the lake,
Seeing the beautiful ripples created from this pebble.
As you continue to look at that pebble,
You see it in this clear lake as it descends down towards the bottom of this lake.
As you watch it,
It very easily drifts down.
As you feel yourself drifting and relaxing even deeper,
Almost entranced into this pebble as you see it relaxing and going further down,
Becoming more relaxed as you then see this pebble settle to the bottom and simply letting go.
Letting go as it rests there at the bottom of that lake,
Along with all the other pebbles.
You then look at the top of the lake and see the continuation of that rippling as it too begins to rest,
Returning back to a calm,
Serene,
Stable state of peace.
A serenity,
A serene environment,
Outside to in and inside to out.
As a serenity and peace takes over you inside,
Out and outside in as well,
Creating a special state of internal harmony and peace and serenity.
And that's right.
A very open state of consciousness.
As you continue to listen to me,
You know that there is this very special part of you that is hearing me right now.
This is the core of who you are.
And the center core is in your subconscious mind.
That's logical.
That's rational.
That's cool and collected.
That's calm,
Relaxed,
Clever and wise.
It is the core part of you that wants you to heal,
To recover,
To succeed.
And to be well as a whole person.
That's right.
This very intelligent,
Very knowledgeable part of you.
In fact,
This core center of who you are knows so much more that your conscious mind doesn't even know how much it doesn't know.
The center core within your subconscious mind has always been there with you.
Since you were a little baby,
It has helped you survive maybe difficult challenges or predicaments.
It continues to help you in your future.
People may refer to the center core part of who you are as maybe an inner guidance.
Maybe an inner advisor.
Or maybe just the higher self.
Others may even call it an angel or a guardian,
But it does come within you.
And regardless of the name of what you want to call it,
It has a very special function of helping and guiding you.
To continue to find your way for your self-realization.
To help you find your way of learning and growing.
To help you overcome.
And this core part of you knows how far you have come and how much you have done.
It knows all your past experiences and encourages you deep down inside and how you are fully capable of doing many things.
You continue to strive for your accomplishments.
And this part of you knows that there is no comparison with any other journey besides your own.
And acknowledging all the beautiful and many things you have done in your life.
Beginning to appreciate all of them.
Knowing that it was all possible because of you.
No one else besides you.
And that is of tremendous value.
Because you have value.
Your mere existence here demonstrates how important you are.
Your time.
Your energy.
Your attention.
Your efforts.
Your experiences.
All are of value.
As you learn to honor your time,
Your energy.
As you learn to create balance in your life.
Knowing that you have rights as a human.
As you do the best that you can do in your experiences.
And you do not allow yourself to criticize or judge or be hard on yourself because you know that you are learning as a human.
That you are growing.
Becoming more assertive with yourself.
Knowing how to stand up.
To demonstrate the value you have of yourself.
To yourself and others.
As you carry yourself with a sense of pride,
Self-worth,
And authenticity.
Knowing that you are doing the best you can do with courage,
With adaptability,
And maybe with a little playfulness.
By enjoying the process of learning and growing.
And honoring the value of who you are.
And your current place in this life.
Looking back at all the things that you have done.
All the successes.
Either small or even large.
Every single one was because of you.
Honoring that.
Accept yourself with grace.
With ease.
Viewing yourself in a positive light.
Developing greater confidence for your talents,
Your gifts,
Your skills,
And your attitudes and abilities.
You have the capacity to visualize yourself in the future.
Living up to your dreams with a sense of joy and accomplishment.
Now,
All of the things that I have said,
You do not have to fully remember if you don't want to.
Or you don't need to remember them at all,
But your unconscious or subconscious mind will.
That core center will continue to guide.
Continuing to be your internal coach.
Telling you all that you are capable and able of doing which are many great things.
Why,
Even when you're asleep,
This core part of you is doing that.
Reminding you.
And this will continue every moment of the hour,
Every hour of the day,
And every night.
Every day and every night of the week.
Every week of the month.
Every month of the year.
And every year for the rest of your life.
Because this is you.
This is part of you.
It has always been you.
And as you continue to move forward,
You begin to realize that this life is a journey.
And that the goal of living is not traveling to a specific destination.
But the journey itself becomes your destination.
And the quality,
The grace,
And form in which your travel on this journey will call life,
Is in itself the goal of living.
And is doing so you are writing the book of your own journey.
So you can choose to do that with assertiveness.
With knowing your rights.
With knowing your value.
With knowing all of the accomplishments that you have already achieved.
Simply being right here,
Right now,
Is no small feat.
To recognize that you have the abilities all within you.
To help,
To heal.
And to raise your confidence of who you are.
Because there is a very wise,
Confident,
Knowledgeable,
Intelligent,
Cool and collected and calm,
Higher self within you.
Now breathing in,
As you inhale and very slowly exhale.
As these suggestions continue to work within you.
As we now begin to transition you out.
Knowing that you can come back to this meditation anytime that you wish.
But knowing it is already doing its work within you.
Now I will count from one all the way to the number five.
With the number five signaling for you to come out of this state.
But only if you're ready.
Starting with number one.
As you begin to now notice your hands and your toes.
Feeling them.
Maybe tingling.
On number two,
Maybe giving them a nice little stretch.
Or feeling as though a fresh spring water now is now running over your face.
Making you feel more refreshed,
More relaxed.
And feeling good about yourself and the work that you're doing.
On number three,
Beginning to come more alive and awake to your body.
And the place that it's in.
As you feel it becoming more and more alive and present.
And on number four,
Beginning to stretch and move.
And feel your body begin to become more alive.
As it feels also very rested,
Rejuvenated.
Allowing this feeling to carry with you throughout the day if you're going to continue the day.
Or resting easily tonight.
As you get to number five.
And only if you're ready.
Opening your eyes and becoming very present to your formal sense of consciousness being right here,
Right now.
Ending this meditation.
And I thank you.
