
Just Being & Just Relaxing With Grounding Techniques
The practice is for relaxing and simply being in the moment, grounded with yourself through breathing and body scanning techniques. Let go of tensions by focusing on the here and now and build awareness on how you feel.

Welcome,
I'm Anne-Marie,
Your meditation guide.
Now first,
Let's set the intention for this meditation for you to relax,
To release any tensions in your body and allow yourself to simply be.
And let's begin.
And now first find a comfortable seat,
Either sitting down or lying.
Find a space and adjust either on a meditation pillow or in a chair,
Assuring yourself that any tensions will be released.
As we begin.
And now,
With your eyes shut,
I want you to start focusing on your breath and bring attention to your breath.
As you notice,
It may become a bit more forced.
And now I want you to go ahead and take a big breath in,
Slowly inhale,
Filling your lungs and as you gradually slowly exhale,
Think relaxed.
Now one more time,
Take a big breath in,
Fill your lungs and as you slowly exhale,
Think relaxed.
Now one last time,
Take a big breath in,
Fill your lungs and as you slowly begin to exhale,
Think to yourself,
Relaxed.
Good.
Now breathing normally,
You may notice that your breath becomes softer as you begin to focus on your eyelids.
And as you do,
I want you to gaze your attention,
Rotate your eyes with your eyelids closed,
Focus your gaze in the center of your forehead.
In this space,
There's a blue-black space in the center of your forehead.
Now I want you to focus all of your attention in this space.
And as you do,
We're going to take three big breaths.
And so focusing in this space,
Take a big breath in,
Fill your lungs fully and completely.
And as you go ahead and exhale again,
Allow your mind to relax even more,
Even more.
And now doing that second time,
Take a big breath in,
Fill your lungs slowly and deeply.
And as you take a slow exhale out,
Think to yourself while gazing in that space,
Relaxed.
Good.
And one last time,
Go ahead and take a big breath in,
Fill your lungs,
Circulate that breath.
And as you exhale slowly,
Say to yourself,
Relax.
Good.
And now allow your eyes to slowly relax,
Allowing that gaze to relax,
Drifting away,
Drifting away.
And as we begin to focus on our body,
Allowing the subconscious mind to do exactly what it knows how to do,
To relax us,
To unwind,
To release any tensions our body may be feeling.
And now notice how your head starts to become more relaxed as your neck muscles become more loose and limp,
Feeling the weight of your head as it sits there on your shoulders,
Going down your throat,
Feeling your neck fibers and muscles releasing and relaxing as this releasing,
Relaxing sensation goes down your neck and to your shoulders,
Releasing any tensions your shoulders may be experiencing as if a weight was released from your shoulders,
Your arms begin to come down a little bit more,
Feeling the weightlessness of your arms as they rest in its place.
And allow that relaxing sensation travel down your arms into your fingertips,
Releasing your fingertips,
Relaxing your fingertips.
You may notice a bit of a vibration sensation in your fingers as this presents a soothing,
Relaxing sensation in your hands.
And that feeling travels up your arms,
Back into your shoulders and to your chest as you can feel your breath begin to rise and depress your chest with each breath as that oxygen goes in through your lungs and bringing a relaxing sensation with each breath,
Releasing any worries,
Any thoughts begin to drift away,
Focusing solely on your body and how you're feeling right now,
Allowing your chest to relax even more,
Even more as your breath goes down through your diaphragm and releasing your tensions,
Making a soothing,
Relaxing,
Loosening feeling in your belly.
Your belly begins to soften as this relaxing,
Serene sensation goes down your belly,
Through your pelvis and down your thighs,
Going down,
Down,
Down to your calves,
Releasing every muscle fiber,
Relaxing from skin to bone.
This relaxing sensation has traveled from the head all the way down the calves to your ankles and out your toes,
Releasing,
Relaxing.
Now that our body is relaxed,
I want to show you how to mentally relax even more.
See,
Your subconscious mind knows exactly how to relax.
It knows how to let things go,
To allow the body to go with flow,
To go with the energy,
To feel good,
To feel relaxed.
Just like your breath knows how to relax your body,
The subconscious mind knows how to allow worries to drift away,
Focusing on this present moment.
And that's it.
That's all that matters is this moment right now,
Listening to my voice,
Feeling how you feel right now.
And I want you to notice how do you feel?
If any thoughts creep in,
Just simply,
Gently ask them to step aside and allow us to feel how we feel right now.
This feeling,
This good,
Serene,
Relaxed,
Peaceful feeling is all that matters.
Because whatever's going to happen tomorrow,
Happens tomorrow.
Whatever happened yesterday,
Happened yesterday.
All that matters is right now.
This moment,
This audio,
This feeling.
And I want you to ask yourself,
How do I feel?
Where do I feel?
And listen to your body as it continues to tell you how to feel good.
Because the thing is,
Our subconscious mind,
Our inner knowing is so intelligent.
It knows how to relax and how to simply let things go.
To allow what is be.
And all that matters is what is being right now.
Not that,
Not there,
It's here,
Now.
This moment.
Focusing,
Relaxing,
And being in this place.
And you can simply do this any time of the day that you want.
Just listen to yourself.
Listen to your body.
Listen to your breath.
And allow that breath to bring you back to here and now.
To release any tensions.
To relax and to allow you to simply be in the here and now.
There is no uncertainty in the here and now.
There is only certainty.
Certainty that we know we are here and now.
Not what's going to happen tomorrow or what happened yesterday.
Right now is all that matters.
And now.
You just begin to notice your hands.
Feel them.
Maybe you'll notice that they tingle a little bit.
And your toes.
And you may choose to stretch a little bit.
And allow yourself to start to get energized.
So that you can pursue your day.
Or ignore the suggestions I'm about to say.
And allow yourself to relax even more after this audio has ended.
But if you choose,
Go ahead and start to stretch.
And feel more aware of the space that you're in.
This room.
The things around you.
And you may notice that this feeling that you have can continue on throughout the day if you just focus on it.
And I want to hold the intention that you're going to have a wonderful day.
Because you are a human.
You are full of emotions and energy.
And you create those emotions and energy.
And first,
To know that you are human.
You observe the human experience.
Observe the emotions that change going up and down like a wave.
And allow yourself to bask in the place of certainty knowing that things will change.
And that's okay.
Because all that matters is right now.
