This guided meditation will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio,
You're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruptions,
Where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time,
Your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now,
Make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental wellbeing.
Begin by taking a deep breath in and slowly let it out.
Allow your eyes to close now gently as if they're choosing rest for themselves.
With each breath allow your body to soften.
The muscles in your face,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders all releasing little by little.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you.
Let go of any tension in your scalp,
Your forehead,
Your brow.
Allow the muscles around your eyes to relax.
Unclench your jaw and allow your tongue to rest in your mouth as your shoulders sink into the frame of your body.
Bring awareness to your arms,
Feel them grow heavier,
Stiller and allow your hands to loosen.
Let your breath move down into your chest,
Expanding gently and releasing slowly.
Soften your belly,
Release your hips and allow your legs to become long and heavy.
Feel your knees,
Calves and ankles all the way to your toes,
Relaxed and at ease.
Now imagine you're standing at the edge of a quiet forest.
The air is cool,
Earthy and still.
A soft path stretches before you,
Winding gently through tall trees dappled with golden sunlight.
With each slow breath you take a step forward and with every step you go deeper inward.
The scent of pine,
The hush of leaves beneath your feet,
The quiet birdsong in the distance,
All of it inviting you to let go even more.
Each step down the path takes you deeper into calm,
Step by step,
Breath by breath.
As you walk you feel your mind becoming still,
Your body sinking into ease.
Eventually the path opens to a clearing,
Safe,
Still and deeply peaceful.
You arrive in a space that feels like home.
You are safe and supported.
You are deeply,
Deeply relaxed now.
There's nowhere you need to be but here.
This is your space and your time to heal.
Bring your hand to the inside of your leg,
About four finger widths above your ankle.
This is spleen 6 or Sanyin Jiao.
Once you've found the spot inside your leg about four finger widths above your ankle,
You massage this spot gently on one leg.
And when you're ready you can move over to the other leg.
This point supports the body's healing systems,
Hormones,
Emotions and energy.
And as you gently massage that point you imagine light gathering inside you.
Repeating inwardly,
I allow healing.
I support my body with love.
Now bring your hand to the centre of your lower belly,
Just below your navel.
This is CV6,
The sea of energy.
Rest your palm here and feel the warmth.
Breathe into this space and feel the strength return.
Repeating silently to yourself.
My energy restores me.
I am whole.
Now move to the inside of your wrist,
Just below the crease in line with your little finger.
This is heart 7,
The spirit gate.
Massage this point on each wrist.
And this point soothes emotional fatigue and encourages inner peace.
So you breathe and repeat.
I heal from within.
I return to balance.
Now gently bring one hand to the sole of your foot,
About a third of the way down from your toes in the centre.
And this is kidney 1,
Or bubbling spring.
You touch it lightly,
Imagine yourself rooted,
Connected and strong.
As you say to yourself,
I am grounded.
I'm supported by life.
Allow your hands to relax and let your breath find its rhythm.
You are healing,
You are safe and you are whole.
All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.
Stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.
And when you're ready I'll count from 1 to 5 and you'll slowly come out of your state of relaxation.
Open your eyes feeling fully awake,
Refreshed and alert.
