Welcome to House of Wellbeing.
This guided meditation will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio,
You're in a safe and comfortable place,
Free from distractions,
Where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruptions,
Where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time,
Your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now,
Make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental wellbeing.
Begin by closing your eyes.
Now imagine a single candle flame.
It flickers gently,
Warm,
Golden and steady.
Allow your body to begin to relax as you focus only on this flame.
Start by noticing your breath.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Allow your breath to slow,
To lengthen and to deepen.
Relax the muscles in your forehead,
Around your eyes.
Soften your cheeks and unclench your jaw.
Let your shoulders drop away from your ears and feel your arms getting heavier.
Allow your hands to rest completely still.
Breathe into your chest.
Allow your ribs to expand gently and then fall.
Let your belly rise and soften.
Softening your hips now,
Allow your legs to release all the way down to your feet and toes.
Now return your awareness to the candle flame.
With each breath in it glows brighter.
With each breath out it steadies and calms.
The world around the flame begins to blur until all that exists is the warmth of light and the rhythm of breath.
Inhale,
Calm.
Exhale,
Release.
With each breath you're drawing inwards,
Into the stillness behind your eyes.
Into that space where thought dissolves and presence begins.
You are the flame now,
Calm,
Steady and peaceful.
Allow yourself to sink gently into quiet,
Into peace,
Into deep,
Deep stillness.
And you can stay in this lovely state of mind,
In this warm glow as long as you need.
Now bring your attention to the top of your foot,
Between the big toe and the second toe.
This is your liver three point,
Also called tai chong.
Use your fingers to gently massage this area on one foot and then when you're ready move over to the other foot.
This point helps release pent up energy,
Frustration and tension.
As you breathe imagine your stress beginning to dissolve,
Flowing down out through your feet.
Silently saying to yourself,
I let go of what I don't need.
I make space for calm.
Now bring your fingers to the inside of your wrist,
About two finger widths down from the crease.
This is your pericardium six or nei guan.
When you've found the spot inside your wrist about two finger widths down from the crease,
You can massage both wrists gently one at a time.
This point soothes the heart and quiets anxious feelings.
With each breath now you feel your chest lightening,
Your shoulders sinking.
And you repeat to yourself,
I soften into safety.
I trust the moment.
And now bring your focus to the space between your eyebrows,
The yin tang point.
And you can use one or two fingers to make soft circles here.
This point helps quiet the mind,
Lets your thoughts grow slower and softer.
And you can whisper to yourself,
My mind is spacious.
My body is at ease.
Now bring one hand to the center of your chest,
To your CV 17 point,
The sea of tranquility.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath under your palm.
And allow your body to remember this feeling,
Grounded,
Open,
Present.
And you can repeat to yourself,
I release the weight I carry.
I return to peace.
And now you can rest your hands and allow your breath to move on its own.
You are safe,
You are supported and you are letting go.
You stay here for a few more breaths or gently return whenever you feel ready.
All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.
Stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.
And when you're ready I'll count from 1 to 5 and you'll slowly come out of your state of relaxation.
Open your eyes feeling fully awake,
Refreshed and alert.
Waking up now with 1,
2,
3,
4 and 5.
