Welcome to House of Wellbeing.
This guided meditation audio will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio you're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruptions where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental wellbeing.
Find a comfortable place where you're free from interruptions.
Maybe on a bed or on a chair and close your eyes.
Now I'd like you to take a long deep breath in and hold it for the count of four.
And then breathe out to the count of six.
Once again take a long deep breath in for the count of four.
And hold it for the count of four.
When you're ready breathe out to the count of six.
And you can allow your breathing to return to your normal breathing rate now.
Gentle breaths in and out.
You may start to feel your muscles releasing as you sink into the frame of your body.
Comfortably,
Heavily and peacefully.
This is your time to relax now.
Your time just for you.
And as your relaxation deepens more and more you can let your mind wander to the top of a beautiful staircase with ten steps leading down.
And at the bottom of this staircase is your favourite place of calm and relaxation.
Maybe it's a beautiful beach or a garden or a place in nature.
You look at the steps and notice how beautiful the staircase is.
The steps are handcrafted and the detail in the design is truly magnificent.
There's a firm handrail to your left.
In a moment I'd like you to imagine yourself walking down the steps one at a time as I count them down one by one.
And you realise that you get more and more relaxed with every step you take.
More and more comfortable with each step you take as I count them off.
So when you're ready to walk down the steps I want you to gently place your hand on the handrail and begin to slowly go down the steps as I count them off from ten to one.
Let's start .
.
.
Ten .
.
.
Deeply relaxed .
.
.
So comfortable .
.
.
Nine .
.
.
Another step down .
.
.
More and more relaxed now .
.
.
Eight .
.
.
Each step leading you further and further into relaxation .
.
.
Seven .
.
.
Deeply relaxed .
.
.
Deeply comfortable .
.
.
Six .
.
.
Each muscle releasing now .
.
.
Five .
.
.
More and more and more relaxed .
.
.
Four .
.
.
Almost at the bottom now .
.
.
Going down and down .
.
.
Three .
.
.
So comfortable .
.
.
So relaxed .
.
.
Sinking and sinking .
.
.
Two .
.
.
Almost at the bottom now .
.
.
Just one more step to go .
.
.
And one .
.
.
All the way down into total relaxation now .
.
.
And as you reach the bottom of the steps you let go of the handrail and you let go of any worries or concerns.
You're now standing at the bottom of the steps in your place of nature .
.
.
In your place of calmness and relaxation .
.
.
So relaxed and at ease.
This is your time just for you.
You allow yourself to let go completely .
.
.
Lying down in your place of nature.
You're now in a deep state of relaxation and I'd like to speak directly to your subconscious mind which often tries to protect us by keeping us in old out-of-date patterns.
I want to thank your subconscious mind for doing such a great job of protecting you but it's okay to open up to new suggestions and opportunities.
You no longer need out-of-date emotions that no longer serve you.
Today your subconscious mind is open to receiving new and positive suggestions.
The fear of public speaking or performance can cause a huge toll on your self-confidence and self-esteem.
By listening to this audio we're going to help you overcome any fears by increasing your confidence,
Calming your mind and body,
Enabling you to give the performance you want.
Each day you find yourself thinking and feeling more positively towards performing.
You know you are a great performer.
You have an incredible talent.
So you now release any negative thoughts,
Preferring to focus only on positive thoughts that benefit you.
And this newfound positivity ensures that every time you perform you really enjoy the wonderful feelings and experience it brings you.
You find comfort and ease expressing yourself in front of others.
From now on in,
Whenever you're due to perform in front of others,
You keep your mind positive and free from any negative or catastrophic thoughts,
Freeing yourself from self-doubt and low confidence.
You know you're bringing something of value to your audience.
They love watching you perform and you feel full of confidence and positive energy.
You have a talent that you feel proud of and you know it takes courage and confidence to stand in front of other people and perform so you congratulate yourself on your bravery because you are brave and courageous.
You focus your attention on thoughts that are calming and reassuring,
Saying to yourself I am confident in my abilities and I trust in my preparation before I perform.
I am calm,
Focused and in control of my thoughts and emotions before and during my performance.
I'm not defined by the opinions of others.
I perform for myself and focus on my own standards of success.
I am full of confidence and my ability to perform well.
You release the need for perfection and embrace the opportunity to learn and grow from every performance.
You accept that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process,
Yet they also bring many opportunities.
You trust in your skills and talents,
Knowing that you have the ability to handle any situation that comes your way during your performance.
And you find the strangest thing starts to happen.
The more you perform,
The easier and better it gets.
I'd like you to imagine now that you're just about to perform.
Watch as you take a moment to yourself before you go on stage or in front of a crowd.
You breathe in deeply,
Centering and grounding yourself in the present moment.
You're fully aware of where you are and what surrounds you.
Feel what your feet are touching.
What can you see,
Feel and hear around you?
Each time you breathe in,
You breathe in calmness,
Tranquility and confidence.
And each time you breathe out,
You release tension and anxiety.
I'd like you to see yourself repeating this breathing technique four times now,
Feeling the tension release from your body and fueling you to perform well.
And you can use this technique before every performance.
Now I want you to see yourself surrounded by people that you admire.
People who are great performers.
It may be a celebrity,
Someone you know,
A singer,
Perhaps an actor,
Comedian or musician.
Whoever it may be.
Visualize them standing in front of you holding a ribbon.
And as you reach out to them,
You take hold of one end of the ribbon and hold it in your hand.
They're holding one end of the ribbon and you're holding the other.
Now feel their energy flowing down the ribbon into your hands.
They're sharing their power,
Their experience,
Their performance skills,
Helping you to become a better and more confident performer,
Just like them.
You borrow all the elements about them that you love.
Maybe it's their confidence,
The way they interact with the audience.
Whatever it may be.
You feel it flow from their body through the ribbon and into your body now,
All the time making you feel more and more confident about being a great performer.
Now every time you perform,
You focus on the positive aspects of your performance and celebrate your accomplishments,
No matter how big nor small.
You know that practice makes perfect,
So you prepare your material in advance.
You practice repeatedly until it feels like second nature to you.
You find peace in this preparation and you know you have done everything you can in order to do your best.
Because you always do your best and you're worthy of every success that comes your way.
And when you perform you try and establish eye contact and engage with your audience.
You always manage to find a friendly face that helps settle your nerves.
And you accept nervousness is a natural part of the process and any feelings of nervousness you now channel into a more helpful emotion like excitement.
Any adrenaline coursing through your body before a performance quickly turns into a river of excitement,
Fueling your body with positive,
Confident energy.
You are a confident and skilled performer.
Capable of captivating any audience.
Each time you perform you get better and better and it gets easier and easier.
You are comfortable in the spotlight and your presence on stage is powerful.
You radiate confidence and charisma when you perform.
You trust in your abilities to deliver exceptional performances with ease.
You are a natural born performer and worthy of recognition.
You are a brilliant calm performer always feeling in control.
You are always prepared and always ready to emotionally connect with your audience.
You are now the most incredible performer full of confidence,
Calm and magnetism.
All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.
Stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.
And when you're ready you'll gently emerge from your state of relaxation,
Open your eyes feeling fully awake,
Refreshed and alert.
