This guided meditation audio will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio,
You're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruption where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time,
Your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now,
Make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental wellbeing.
Find a comfortable place with limited distractions,
Maybe on a bed or in a comfy chair and close your eyes.
Now I want you to take in a long deep breath.
Hold it for the count of four.
And then breathe out to the count of six.
Once again when you're ready,
Take a long deep breath in for the count of four.
And hold it to the count of four.
And then breathe out to the count of six.
And now you can allow your breathing to return to a normal pace,
Gentle breaths in and out.
This is your time just for you.
And you make sure you're free from interruptions.
You let nothing bother nor concern you at all.
And as you start to sink into heaviness,
Allow your mind to drift off and use your imagination to journey to a wonderful place.
A place in nature.
A beautiful tranquil forest filled with luscious trees swaying subtly in the shimmering sun.
A beautiful scent fills the air.
And as you look ahead,
You see a vast array of colorful flowers ahead of you.
The sun is shining and the temperature is just as you like it.
You feel relaxed and calm.
Happy to be out experiencing nature.
You hear a gentle breeze blowing and then notice the rustling sound of water in the distance.
You decide to follow the sound,
Feeling excited about what you might find.
You take your time walking slowly through the forest.
Allowing the breeze to blow through your hair.
Lifting your head slightly as the sun shines down onto you.
Warming you up with healing energy.
You feel so peaceful and so calm.
You can hear leaves rustling and birds chatting excitedly in the trees.
You know that this is your special place.
Your place and time just for you to feel completely connected,
At ease and so calm.
A place where changes are to come and where you feel wonderfully,
Innately powerful.
The sound of water is getting louder and as you walk through a clearing in the forest,
You look around in wonder and see a beautiful sparkling lake.
The sun shining and reflecting off the gentle ripples in the water.
Such a wonderful vision.
Such beauty.
And you feel an almost dreamlike joy to be a part of this incredible setting.
Your own private paradise.
You decide to sit down and to take in the vision that has you so enraptured.
Colors of orange and gentle reds as the sun bounces off water and makes you feel totally mesmerized.
Take a moment now to watch your beautiful lake rippling in the sun.
You feel a wave of complete relaxation sweeping over you.
And you know this is your healing place.
Your place of positivity and calm.
You allow your breaths to become long and steady as you sink further into relaxation with every exhalation.
Allowing your muscles to release completely.
Knowing you're safe,
You're calm.
Your journey of change is about to come.
And there's nowhere else you would rather be than right here right now looking forward to what's to come.
You're now in a deep state of relaxation.
And I'd like to speak directly to your subconscious mind which often tries to protect us by keeping us in old out of date patterns.
I want to thank your subconscious mind for doing such a great job of protecting you.
But it's okay to open up to new suggestions and opportunities.
You no longer need out of date emotions that no longer serve you.
Today your subconscious mind is open to receiving new and positive suggestions.
Whilst you're in this deeply relaxed state,
Let's address your desire to face your fears.
You know that a little bit of fear can be good for you.
It can protect you when there's a danger.
But it can also hold you back as your mind can play tricks on you,
Making you fearful of things that aren't necessarily dangerous.
You don't need to conquer every fear you have.
But when your fear is stopping you from doing everyday things or from achieving your dreams,
That's when we need to take back control.
Today we learn that fear stands for false evidence appearing real.
Because it's your imagination perceiving what it thinks might happen in the future and turning that into an anxiety,
Rather than the reality of what will happen and keeping you feeling calm.
So today we find courage to face our fears.
To no longer be held back or afraid of what might happen as we live in the present,
Keeping our minds focused on the now,
Thinking positively and rationally.
When you feel a little anxious,
You calm yourself immediately by taking long deep breaths,
Sending a message to your brain to be calm.
You do this by breathing in for 4 seconds,
Holding for a count of 4 and then slowly breathing out to a count of 6.
This is your secret weapon,
Something you can do at any time to instantly help you feel calm and relaxed.
Feeling calmer and more relaxed each day helps you to feel physically and mentally stronger to face your fears.
You feel confident,
Positive,
Optimistic and resilient.
You know you're mentally strong enough to cope with anything that comes your way,
As you're no longer afraid of setbacks,
Difficulty or failure.
If things don't go your way the first time,
You simply pick yourself up and try again.
Your determination and resilience is strong as you get closer to reaching your goals.
You say to yourself,
What's the worst that can happen?
You know you have probably catastrophized what could happen and that's your powerful imagination working at its best again.
So you remember to stay present,
Stay in the now,
Choosing to be more realistic,
More rational about any outcome.
Feel more rational than ever before,
Keeping things realistic,
Recognizing flaws in your thinking and when you're being over emotional or unrealistic.
You feel safe,
Calm and in control always.
Your confidence and self-belief are growing more and more,
Helping you to face your fears and to be more courageous.
You start slowly facing your fears each day.
You start by thinking about how something may make you feel if you faced it.
Perhaps visualizing your fear and imagining yourself doing it successfully with ease and confidence.
Then you slowly build up your courage,
As you take baby steps to doing the things you crave.
For instance,
If you have a fear of taking the train on your own,
You may just go one stop on the train for your first effort.
Little and often is key.
Exposing yourself slowly to your fear,
Helping you to realize that things are never as bad as they seem,
Which gives you great confidence afterwards.
You are brave and you are fearless as you say to yourself,
I'm brave enough to take chances.
I can handle anything that comes my way.
My setbacks make me stronger.
I am strong and powerful.
I'm capable of achieving my goals.
My confidence continues to grow.
I believe in myself.
I'm finding it easier to move forward without fear.
I believe in strength and breathe out fear.
Today I'm living fearlessly.
I have what it takes to conquer my fears.
I feel the fear and do it anyway.
Facing my fears empowers me.
I am fearless.
You try and do a little something that frightens you each week,
However big or small.
And as you make these great strides to achieving and overcoming your fears,
You reward yourself.
Perhaps treating yourself to a small gift or doing something that makes you happy.
I want you to use your powerful imagination now to think of something you're fearful of doing.
Notice where your fearful feelings are in your body.
I want you to imagine you're pushing these fearful feelings out of your body,
In front of you,
And then put them into a shape that represents these feelings.
You may want to add a sound too.
Put your shape in a colour,
Any colour.
Now look at the shape and hear the sounds.
How can you change it to make it less fearful and have more of the feelings that you want?
Try changing the colour,
The position,
The shape,
The texture,
The sound.
Do whatever you need to do until you've made a difference and it feels less fearful.
Fill it with positive feelings.
I can do this.
I am brave.
I am courageous.
I am confident.
I am fearless.
Whatever positive messaging you want.
Perhaps you have some reassuring,
Powerful music playing too.
Change that now in your mind.
Now bring the shape and sounds into one and bring it back into your body and let your body accept it.
From now on in you feel energised,
Full of confidence with these new feelings you've created.
You feel completely differently about your previous fearful situation.
Continue to face your fears with courage and determination.
You thank your subconscious mind for listening and for allowing you to have more courage to face your fears and to achieve your goals and dreams.
All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.
Stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.
And when you're ready you'll gently emerge from your state of relaxation,
Open your eyes feeling fully awake,
Refreshed and alert.
