Welcome to House of Wellbeing.

This guided meditation audio will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.

So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio you're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.

Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruption where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.

Should you need to open your eyes at any time your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.

But for now make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental well-being.

Find a comfortable place removed from interruptions maybe on a bed or in a comfy chair and close your eyes.

Now I want you to take a long deep breath in.

Hold it for four seconds.

And then breathe out for the count of six.

Again taking a long deep breath for four seconds.

Three two one and hold it for four seconds.

Three two one and then breathe out on the count of six.

Five four three two one.

I want you to imagine yourself in a room somewhere.

Perhaps it's in your bedroom or a favorite room of yours.

Wherever it is you love it here.

It's a place you feel relaxed calm and at peace.

As you walk into the room you notice it's dim.

There isn't much light but it's lovely and quiet.

So quiet that you can hear your feet as you slowly walk about.

You reach for a cupboard or draw and pull out a candle and a match.

You carefully light the candle and blow out the match as you place the candle on a table in front of you.

The flickering flame gives off a beautiful soft glow.

Slowly illuminating the room.

Giving you a warm and soothing feeling inside.

You take a seat opposite the candle watching it flickering.

Becoming fixated by the flame.

You feel so calm and relaxed watching the flame.

You notice all of its beautiful colors.

Yellow orange but you also see red purple and blue.

Every time the flame moves it looks like it's dancing.

Teasing you with its beauty.

As you watch it expand and then flicker down into a smaller dance again.

You feel yourself growing calmer and calmer watching the flame.

It's as if all your worries and anxieties are melting away in the candle's warmth.

And as the candle gets warmer and warmer you start to see the wax slowly starting to melt down its side.

Melting all the way down.

Deeper down.

As the candle's wax melts and relaxes you too relax.

Sinking further into your bed or chair.

Feeling your body getting heavier and heavier as you let go of tension.

Let go of worries and anxieties.

Feeling your body sliding into a deeper state of relaxation.

Letting all your worries and anxieties melt away in the candle's heat.

You keep watching the candle and the dancing flame.

When I count down from ten to one you will notice that when you watch the candle each time it flickers and the wax melts down the side you too will slide down into a state of deeper relaxation.

It's like your body and flame are in sync with one another.

Melting together into perfect relaxation.

And when the candle melts and relaxes you too slide deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.

Starting now.

Ten.

Watch the wax slowly sliding down the candle.

Feeling your body sliding down into a state of deep relaxation.

Nine.

Watch the wax dripping down again.

Feel all your worries and anxieties melt away.

Eight.

Sliding down.

Deeper down into relaxation.

Seven.

Six.

Five.

Keep watching the soft wax and flickering flame as you double your relaxation.

Four.

Going deeper down as you slide into calmness and peacefulness.

Three.

Feel your body releasing any tension.

Letting go now.

Releasing all tension.

Two.

Watch the cascading wax and the dancing flame as you slide down.

Down.

Down into relaxation.

One as you watch another drop of wax drip down.

You can feel total relaxation from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

You notice now that the candle has been getting smaller and smaller and soon the wick will flicker and go out.

When it does the room will go dark and this will be a signal for you to enter the deepest state of relaxation that's possible for you.

I'm going to give you a minute now to watch the candle as it gets lower and lower.

Smaller and smaller and finally flickers out.

Leaving you in darkness and calmness,

Stillness and total peace.

You are now in a deep state of relaxation.

I want to thank your subconscious mind for doing such a great job of protecting you but you no longer want these out of date emotions that no longer serve you.

Today your subconscious mind is open to receiving new and positive suggestions.

And as you drift down deeper and deeper into relaxation your mind has become open and receptive to everything that I say and to everything that I suggest.

These suggestions will travel so deeply and have such a lasting impression that they'll be deeply ingrained in your subconscious mind.

And as these suggestions sink deeply into the unconscious part of your mind they'll become a permanent part of your everyday life influencing the way you think,

The way you feel and ultimately the way you eat.

For a while now it may be that you've been using food to cope with negative feelings.

Whether these feelings are a result of sadness,

Loneliness,

Boredom,

Depression,

Anger,

Frustration or anxiousness,

We're going to find a new way of dealing with them once and for all.

Every one of us will have different triggers for emotional eating.

From now on you'll be able to identify when you're eating out of emotion rather than true hunger.

When you're thinking about food you ask yourself,

Am I actually hungry?

Do I need to eat right now?

You stop yourself when you're thinking about eating and replace it with doing something else.

For instance if you're bored at home and get the urge to visit the fridge then you'll listen to a podcast so your mind has something else to focus on.

If you're feeling upset and you get a craving for food then perhaps you call a friend instead.

If you've had a bad day and perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed then you busy your mind,

Perhaps you do a sudoku or crossword.

Distraction is now the key to get your mind used to doing something else instead of reaching for food.

Building this new habit is paramount now.

The more you teach your mind to do something else instead of reaching for food,

The more it becomes ingrained in your mind and the less inclined you are to automatically reach for food.

Perhaps you go for a walk,

Take a bath or do some exercise.

You're now building habits,

Building habits of doing things that engage your brain as you know that's a powerful distractor to you from thinking about or eating food.

From now on you no longer link emotions with eating,

You only eat when you're hungry.

Perhaps you've found yourself in a situation where you finished a meal and not remembered actually eating the food.

So from now on you're more mindful when eating.

You stay in tune with what your body actually needs.

From now on you practice mindful eating.

You are more aware of what you're eating,

Of how much you're eating and why you're eating it.

You eat slowly,

Taking in all the flavours and you use all your senses thinking about what you can smell,

See and taste,

Taking your time.

You now find yourself feeling full much more often as you're eating much more mindfully which in turn helps you to control those eating habits.

From now on you have a positive relationship with food,

Eating healthy foods that you enjoy,

That you know are good for you and your body.

Aiming for three healthy meals a day,

With foods that fuel you for longer periods of time instead of quick fixes that leave you wanting more.

You have a much more balanced viewpoint to food.

Perhaps telling yourself,

I'll only have chocolate as a special treat.

Then allow yourself to enjoy the chocolate for your special treat but you move on afterwards.

From now on you no longer link emotions with eating.

You eat merely when you are hungry.

You accept yourself as the wonderful,

Unique person that you are.

You love your body and what goes into it and you treat it well by eating only what you need.

Eating healthily and exercising as much as you feel is right for your body.

You also accept that your emotions are an essential part of your whole personality.

There's nothing wrong with having emotions.

You find constructive ways of expressing yourself when your emotions are high,

Ways that are much more beneficial for you.

Perhaps you find yourself exercising more,

Meaning your brain releases those feel-good hormones,

Which in turn makes you feel happier,

Calmer and more able to cope with any issues that may arise,

So you don't even think about emotional eating.

You feel calmer,

Happier,

More confident and positive day by day.

You realise that you really don't need food to help you cope with any emotions other than genuine hunger.

In fact if you should reach for the cupboard out of habit when you're feeling emotional,

You'll instinctively stop and think about everything you've heard in this audio.

From now on if you're not hungry,

You do not eat.

You just won't feel like eating when you're not hungry.

You engage yourself with doing other things,

Distracting yourself,

Keeping busy.

Food is often the last thing on your mind unless it's breakfast,

Lunch or dinner time.

You no longer link emotions with eating.

You only eat when you're hungry.

You're excited to create a more fulfilled,

Balanced lifestyle for yourself.

And you can do anything you want to do plus so much more.

You have total control over your eating.

Your life is becoming so much more balanced and enriched as you keep your emotions in check.

Food is no longer the answer to manage your emotions as you feel calm,

Relaxed,

Happy and in control each and every day.

And perhaps you find that as this feeling of control and happiness grows,

You find that you have more energy and time to do the things that you love.

See yourself in your mind now.

Perhaps you've had a long,

Tough day and it's not quite meal time.

See yourself distracting yourself either doing a crossword,

Reading or calling a friend whilst walking.

And as you get home,

You look in the mirror.

Perhaps you've lost some weight.

You look healthier,

Happier.

In fact,

You're glowing with health and vitality.

And this pleases you.

You feel proud of how far you've come and how good you feel.

You congratulate yourself on your achievements now.

The more you listen to this audio,

The more you cut the link between those negative emotional thoughts and eating.

And the more you create new neural pathways,

Meaning a new way of dealing with your emotions.

You're more motivated than ever now to create this new habit,

This new way of thinking and behaving,

This new,

Healthier you.

All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.

Stronger by the day,

Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.

And when you're ready,

You'll gently emerge from your state of relaxation.

Open your eyes,

Feeling fully awake,

Refreshed and alert.
