Welcome to House of Wellbeing.
This guided meditation audio will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio you're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruptions where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental well-being.
Make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably.
Allow yourself to settle,
To be loose and limp as you acknowledge that this is your time just for you.
Your time to focus on nothing but yourself.
I'd like you to take in a long slow breath and let it out slowly.
From where you are I'd like you to pick a spot on the wall slightly higher than eye level but not so far that you strain your eyes too much.
Keep your head still as your eyes look at something higher than your natural eye level.
I'd like you to keep looking at that point.
Don't look away,
Really focus on that point and stare at it now.
Try not to blink too often,
Just keep staring at that chosen point and as you focus you may notice that your eyes feel a little strained.
It may take some effort to keep them open but you do for now.
Notice the feeling in the muscles around your eyes.
Your eyes becoming heavy and it's so tempting to close them and soon they'll become so heavy that you can barely stop yourself from letting them close.
Your eyes are so heavy,
So comfortable and it's just too much effort to keep your heavy tired eyes open.
Those muscles around the eyes just want to release now,
They just want to close heavily and completely.
Allow your eyes to blink now if you want them to and your breathing may start to slow down.
Rhythmic and slow breaths and you can now finally let those eyes gently close heavily,
Comfortably and firmly.
Take in another deep breath and enjoy the feeling as you sink into complete relaxation.
A sense of relief and relaxation in the eyes that spreads down the face and throughout your entire body.
Mind and body are relaxed now.
You're now in a deep state of relaxation and I'd like to speak directly to your subconscious mind which often tries to protect us by keeping us in old out-of- date patterns.
I want to thank your subconscious mind for doing such a great job of protecting you but it's okay to open up to new suggestions and opportunities.
You no longer need out-of-date emotions that no longer serve you.
Today your subconscious mind is open to receiving new and positive suggestions.
I'd like you now to imagine the day you became a parent holding your precious newborn in your arms.
A moment etched in your heart forever.
You imagined a wonderful life together as a family.
I suspect you often pondered how you would parent.
What type of mother,
Father,
Step-parent or guardian you would be.
Are you parenting in which the way you had imagined?
In this state of safety you naturally become a calmer more patient person remembering the only thing you have control over are your emotions.
Parenting isn't about control but more about connection between you and your children and sometimes we assume love is enough but past childhood experiences may still linger and as a parent now carrying emotional burdens may affect how you parent.
Open communication and support from your partner,
Family members,
Friends and other parents become essential.
Remembering now every family faces challenges and as your family grows new hurdles will arise but with good communication and connection you'll navigate through these times and create a healthy relationship.
Support from loved ones is vital allowing both mothers and fathers to grow fostering a calmer and more patient environment.
Embracing your self-love and acceptance now.
Take a deep breath in and recognize that meeting your own needs equips you to love and nurture your children even more.
So you take more time out for yourself finding at least 30 minutes or an hour a day to do something that you love.
Perhaps you just want to go for a walk on your own spend time with friends treat yourself to something you enjoy.
Whatever it is you find time to put yourself first each and every day and with this time for yourself you feel calmer,
More relaxed,
More in control and more at peace.
Feeling less guilty and recognizing the positive impact it has on yourself and your children when you think of your own needs as well as theirs.
With this newfound calmness you replace trying to discipline your children with stepping away from the situation,
Calming down and talking to your child when you're in a calmer headspace and thinking more rationally than emotionally.
Pausing and counting for ten in the moment,
Taking a deep breath in and repeating inwardly to yourself,
I am calm and in control.
Life can be unpredictable so you're kind to yourself teaching your children self-love and acceptance.
No parent nor situation is perfect so you let go of control and perfection and embrace connection now.
Connection is your focus.
Understanding your child,
Talking to your child,
Connecting with their needs and emotions.
Acknowledging that you may lose your cool in the face of challenging behavior and when that happens acknowledge your emotional vulnerability,
Apologize and then let it go.
Parenting through connection allows even the most sensitive or strong-willed child to feel heard and understood.
Leading through connection,
Not control,
Allows your child to be heard and seen.
As a parent you understand that leading through connection instead of control creates a calmer and more patient atmosphere for every family member.
Practice patience with yourself and you'll naturally become more patient with your children and partner.
I'd like you now to reflect on a moment when you lost your calm and patience with your child.
Think about this moment now.
Remind yourself how you felt.
Perhaps you felt some guilt or perhaps you were angry or exhausted in the moment.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and often helps us realize what we did wrong and what we could do differently next time.
So I want you to allow your subconscious mind to give you two lessons from this moment.
What can you learn from this moment that you would change next time?
How would you act or behave differently?
Envision how you could have handled things differently by stepping back and perhaps finding alternative outlets for your emotions.
I'll leave you a moment now to let these lessons come to you of what you could do differently next time.
From now on in you will remember those lessons the next time you're faced with conflict or a situation with your child.
Allow those lessons to come to the front of your mind and remind you of how you wish to act and behave.
Your emotions are fully in your control now.
You no longer let them overpower you.
You choose a healthy emotional outlet.
Never holding in or hiding your feelings.
Prioritizing your family's well-being by communicating your boundaries and always focusing on connection.
You are loved and you're a calm and patient parent.
Communicating better with your child.
Perhaps trying to understand why they acted a certain way and talking about the best way to work it out together.
Forgiving yourself when you fall short as your children and family always do.
As you become calmer and more relaxed you find that your child starts to open up more and follow your lead in being calmer and more patient themselves.
You are deeply connected to your family and your needs are heard,
Appreciated and loved.
You're in control of your emotions as you navigate this beautiful human experience together.
Embracing the principles of letting go of the fear and of losing control and focusing on connection and communication as you discover a newfound calmness and patience in your parenting journey.
Embrace self-love,
Communication and forgiveness knowing that your family thrives in an environment of love,
Understanding and growth.
You have the power to shape your family's experiences and as you lead with empathy and connection you nurture emotionally healthy children and foster a harmonious family life.
Repeat silently in your mind now,
I let go of control and seek for connection with my children.
I represent calmness,
Good communication and understanding.
I let go of control and seek for connection with my children.
I represent calm,
Good communication and understanding.
You're kind to yourself,
You are human with your own needs and you are forgiving and loving to yourself.
Learning from your mistakes instead of focusing on feeling guilt,
Anger or any negative emotions.
I'd like you now to let go of any of those negative feelings within you.
You first acknowledge them and then let them go.
Releasing the tension,
Releasing the emotions,
Releasing the stress or anxiety.
You have created a safe home for emotional expression.
A place where everyone can feel loved,
Comfortable,
Understood and safe.
All emotions are welcomed in your family as emotions are our friend and here to remind us of who we are and what our boundaries should be.
You guide your children to have positive experiences,
Providing a more positive way for them to learn and to be respectful.
Your calm and connected parenting is life-changing for you.
You are raising tomorrow's future and you're doing amazingly.
These hypnotic suggestions are now embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll become more and more powerful as the days and weeks go by.
And in a moment I'm going to count up from 1 to 5 to awaken you and at the count of 5 you'll be wide awake,
Fully refreshed,
Alert and feeling fantastic.
Bringing back with you all the wonderful new feelings.
Coming back now.
1,
2,
3,
4 and 5.
