I briefly discuss what emotions are here for and how you can best interact with your emotional body as you move through life. We are human and are meant to have emotional experiences. I share how you can allow your emotions to be a powerful tool and joyful experience in your life. Resisting is just a waste of your precious time!

Hey,

How's it going?

So glad you're here.

Today I just wanted to talk about emotions a little bit and make a couple things really easy and really clear.

So when you go about your day and you are interacting and relating to emotions,

Your ups and your downs,

You can kind of have a really nice fast snapshot of what is happening and how you can perceive it and how you can interact with it.

So emotions are your guidance from your higher self,

Basically communicating to you to what degree you are in harmony with what your soul knows to be true.

So when you feel really,

Really good about something,

Your higher self in essence is agreeing with you.

It's saying,

Yeah,

Right on.

So glad we're at the same party,

Seeing the same thing,

Agreeing on things.

And then when you feel something really negative,

It's,

Oh geez,

No,

I don't,

That's not true from the higher scope of all that exists.

That's not your truth and you're way off base.

So any range of emotion you're experiencing is always a measuring tool of how much your soul,

Your biggest sense of yourself is in agreement to what you're believing about something at that time.

So you've got your emotional guidance system operating all day long and essentially it's trying to get your attention to steer you in the direction of more alignment,

More alignment.

However something that your emotional guidance system is not doing is wanting you to form an opinion or judge your emotions and then create layers and layers and layers of trauma and pain and suffering around the emotion.

So what I mean by this,

And this is where we talk about emotional healing,

Is that yes,

We experience painful things in our life.

Yes we experience things that are deeply undesired,

Often traumatic,

Have a lot of effect on our life,

Our health,

The way we see ourselves,

The way we see the world,

And this is all happening.

But the emotions you experience around an experience,

So the emotions that are rising up in you around something that you have experienced in the past,

It's no longer active in you,

You're not being hurt right now,

You're not being celebrated right now,

Whatever it is that emotion was about,

It's not happening in this moment.

What is going on is that you are reliving stuck energy that is connected to a story and a label and a judgment based on what that experience was,

What you thought it to be,

What you decided it was going to be.

This happens in a really sneaky way because it is the way we are currently operating as a collective for the most part,

We have an experience,

It makes us feel a certain way,

And then boom,

We judge it.

Oh that was a really great experience,

I want more of that.

Or that was a really awful experience,

Like leave me alone,

Stay away from me,

I don't even want to see that person again.

So as this is all happening,

Your emotions are guiding you and they're saying okay,

This is right online or this is not.

So when something is not in alignment,

It's not saying that that experience was bad,

It's saying that your idea of it being wrong or it being a threat to you is not how your higher self sees it.

And this is where emotional healing really comes into play because if in essence we are eternal,

We are these amazing,

Energetic,

Timeless beings with consciousness that's been evolving for billions of years and we are here having this finite experience as a human,

We don't want to spend all day,

Every day having to catch up with our painful past.

And so I'm not saying that emotional healing is instant,

It can be,

But emotional healing essentially only happens when that emotion is completely and openly experienced.

What I mean by that is as an emotion arises,

Regardless of why it is happening,

And there's no current level of threat to you in this moment,

So you're not in actual danger,

No one's actually attacking you,

You're just feeling those sensations of fear and anxiety and whatever it may be,

Separation,

Anything.

As that is happening,

You are not actually experiencing the emotion when you feel that you need to hide from it or you feel that it's something that is wrong that needs to be removed from your experience because in actuality there is no experience that arises that is not already accepted,

Welcomed,

And processed by the universe as a whole.

Something that comes up has already been accepted.

It's already in reality,

It already is.

And when something is,

That means that there is no argument against it.

That's not to say we don't direct our creation and we don't direct our experience to have the experience we desire and to bring more love and light and genuine freedom into the world.

Of course,

That's part of why we are here.

But what your emotions are really trying to get you to understand is that there is energy that carries a certain frequency,

A certain directional wave that is having its being inside of you because you have essentially partnered with that experience and because your conscious attention is upon that emotion,

It exists.

It's like you having this experience,

It's like you're partnering with the energy.

And when that emotion comes up,

Emotion is energy in motion,

When an emotion arises,

The only purpose it serves is to be experienced.

And when you actually allow yourself to experience and be with the emotion as it comes up without resisting it,

Without judging it,

Without calling it something or wanting to put it in a category,

As you're doing this,

As you're simply being with the emotion,

You'll notice that it sort of has a different nature to it.

It has a different experience.

A different experience isn't the right word,

But it has a different sort of flavor to it.

It's like it's its own unique,

Important being.

It's its own,

Almost like its own entity.

It's like you can see it for what it is,

That it is there with you and maybe quote unquote in you,

But you see it as not you.

And as you let it be what it is,

It will naturally,

Effortlessly on its own,

Without any need for you to manipulate or control or whatever,

It will just leave your experience.

And so the interesting thing is when we take on different healing modalities,

Essentially,

If they're a good modality,

That's what that modality is facilitating for you.

It's actually bringing you through the process of acceptance,

Of being with and of surrender.

The really cool,

Interesting thing is that you don't have to,

You can if it's helpful,

But you don't have to create this big experience around healing.

You can actually just be very present every time and anytime something comes up.

And if something is coming up,

It is the time to experience it.

It is the time to process it.

A lot of times we put our emotions and we stuff them because we think,

Oh,

We have this to do.

I'm here at work.

I'm with my kids.

I'm doing this.

I'm doing that.

I can't process this at the grocery store,

But that's actually not true because the indication that you are,

That it is the right time to process an emotion is because that is the time it is showing up.

And the most beautiful thing is when you actually are not afraid of experiencing however painful it might feel,

Whatever ideas come up with it.

As long as you can be with that emotion and not fear it and just be with it and see how it is not a threat to you.

As you do that,

You're actually present almost like you're apart from the emotion,

But it is with you.

It's like it's communing with you and you're giving your attention upon it and seeing it for what it actually is.

And as it experiences your consciousness upon it,

It says,

Ah,

I've fulfilled my purpose here and it goes on to be transmuted and goes out into the universe to be whatever else it's going to be next because you can't really get rid of anything in the universe.

It's just,

It's more,

It's morphed or transmuted or sent on to go exist in a different way.

So the beautiful thing is if we don't judge our emotions and we're not getting all fearful about them and we are being very,

Very present with our emotions,

We actually don't contribute to sending more negative,

Essentially thought forms into the world.

Because when you attach a negative idea around an emotion,

That emotion gains that sort of flavor and it kind of just continues on for other people to pick up.

So that's not something to like freak you out.

Like don't send out your negative thoughts,

But it's just something to be aware of.

We are creators,

We are here interacting with the higher sense of our self condensed down here into a focused experience of being human.

And we are interacting all the time with all of the higher energies that are always in existence and what we create and what we feel about our creations continue to perpetuate more of that in our own life and more in the world.

So it's just really fascinating.

Like when you have an emotion come up,

Just be with it,

Just see it for what it is.

Oh,

Okay,

That's coming up.

That's interesting.

That,

You know,

Feels connected to something from the past that I experienced,

But then catch yourself and stop talking about it.

Just see it and see how long you can be with it until being with your emotion is like second nature to you.

And as you do this,

You will notice that there's nothing that you can experience in this life that is going to stay with you in the sense of needing healing.

You can heal your past very quickly if you are present and have awareness.

That is the key to all healing is having awareness and not dragging in judgment,

Such as fear of having the experience.

Oftentimes we're just so uncomfortable sitting and being still with ourselves as we are.

And it's okay.

That's only because we haven't done it.

But the more that you come in and you begin to notice as the same way that you watch your thoughts,

Watch your emotional body,

See what is coming up.

And it's,

I found it very beneficial to when I observe my positive emotions come up to not be like,

Oh yay,

Like,

I'm so great.

I'm creating,

You know,

High vibrations.

Like I just watch it and I see it and I let myself be with that positive emotion.

And then I really get this intimate sense of what is co-creating with me in that moment.

And it is,

It is just such a beautiful experience to be open,

Available,

And welcoming to what is actually arising.

Because anytime we take our ideas and our,

By our beliefs and our words,

And we start labeling our experiences,

We completely lose access to what is actually occurring.

What is present,

What is real.

So that's what I wanted to share is,

Um,

When you're getting a positive emotional experience out of something,

Just take note,

Oh,

That's my higher self saying,

Yep,

I'm right on.

Keep going this track and you know,

Just keep listening.

And it's really,

Um,

Showing your inner wisdom that yeah,

I'm listening.

I'm paying attention.

Something negative shows up.

Oh,

Okay.

Well that's,

I'm off in some way.

I'm wrong about the way I perceive this.

My higher self knows dot,

Dot,

Dot about this,

But I'm,

I'm seeing it from this limited,

Fearful,

Separate way of thinking.

Okay.

So this is happening.

I'm getting my direction.

I know where I'm going and as emotions come up,

I'm not making them personal.

I'm not making it a new story that I'm going to perpetuate because it's the story that creates the suffering.

It's the story that perpetuates the need for healing.

If you drop the story and you're with your emotion,

Boom,

You're there.

And sometimes you'll process an emotion and it'll leave you in seconds and you'll just be like,

Wow,

Not only did I experience this amazing energy,

But it's also gone.

Okay.

The impermanence of life.

Um,

Sometimes it might take days or weeks or months to do this and to be with that emotion.

But I can promise you the more you practice this,

The more seamless the experience will become,

The more easily you will just feel into what is actually here.

And the more you will be excited and interested and curious and really looking forward to being with your emotional experience.

It's a part of why we're here.

It's a huge part of why we're here.

So don't,

Don't try to go through life,

Avoiding your emotions and avoiding everything that is coming up for you because it is why we're here.

We're here to have this contrasted,

Gorgeous valley and mountain experience.

It's all for you.

It's all here for you.

And as you become more present to what is arising,

As you are honestly and genuinely here for it,

It will show you and it will reveal to you how everything you ever wanted,

Everything you ever needed is right here in this moment.

And that my friend is my take and my understanding and my personal relationship that I've experienced with the emotional gambit,

With,

With being able to be human and feel the things.
