Hello,
And welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
In today's meditation,
We're going to return to the meditation that's already happening,
To the wild intelligence of being that's already here.
Let's close our eyes together,
With your spine gently upright and your hands cupped one in the other with the tips of your thumbs touching lightly,
Your feet resting gently on the floor or tucked underneath you.
And let's take a few long,
Slow breaths together.
And so for today's meditation,
We're going to focus on the meditation that's already happening,
That beneath the movement of the mind of sounds and sights and all the objects of your perception,
There is a quiet presence,
A wild intelligence of being that's already here and already meditating.
Simply return your mind to its natural state,
With a gentle shift in focus to this meditation that's already occurring.
Taking this posture can feel like a leap of faith,
Trusting in something that the mind can't understand,
But that the heart knows.
This quiet presence,
This quiet intelligence that never leaves you.
You don't need to do anything special to know it,
To feel this meditation that's already happening,
Surrender the mind,
Open the heart,
Lean back into the part of you that already knows.
Life is a bit like a river,
And in every moment there's a flow of consciousness occurring,
Happening all on its own without your help.
To feel and know this,
Simply step into this flow.
Allow the meditation that's already happening to flow through you.
Allow this intelligence to carry you forward,
Not needing anything from it,
Not requiring anything in order to know it or be it.
You already are this.
Hand over any of your cares and concerns to this river,
Letting it wash you clean,
Letting it take your tension,
Your worries,
Lay down all your efforting,
And return to this most natural,
Easeful state.
Let the grace of being wash over you,
And let your heart remain open and free to this wild intelligence that moves all things.
With that,
We'll gently begin to let go of the meditation,
Taking a few last long,
Slow breaths to anchor in this posture,
Gently,
Gently opening your eyes,
Letting your eyes rest in their natural state,
Taking in the whole view,
And inviting you as you get up and begin to move,
To carry the gifts from this meditation into your day,
To remember that this wild intelligence of being never leaves you,
That you are not separate from it,
And you may return to this natural,
Meditative state in any moment.
Wishing you so well and so many blessings on your day.
Namaste.
