Hello and welcome.

So,

Inviting you to take a deep breath into your belly,

Gently close your eyes,

Just landing within the body.

And just presencing in to notice what is here now.

Bring attention to your posture,

With your arms relaxing in your lap,

Your hands,

Left hand cupped gently over right,

With the tips of your thumbs touching lightly,

With your spine gently upright,

As though a string is attached to the top of your head,

Pulling you gently upright.

Soften and relax your face,

Your eyes,

Your cheeks,

And your jaw,

Your tongue,

With the tip of your tongue touching the roof of your mouth and relaxing your tongue.

Feeling your sit bones becoming heavy in the chair or the cushion that you're on.

Feeling your feet resting on the floor,

Grounding in to the earth,

Feeling supported and held.

And don't try to do anything special,

Just be here.

Not pushing anything away,

Not pulling towards anything.

Notice thoughts arise and they're replaced by another thought or sensation.

Sense and feel these thoughts arising like clouds in a vast spacious sky.

In your mind,

Your awareness is like that sky,

Everything appearing or arising within the sky.

These clouds,

They can't change or hurt the sky.

They're just there as the sky has weather.

And just like the sky has weather,

Thoughts arise within awareness.

So notice sounds,

Sensations,

Thoughts,

Not as disturbances.

Just part of what is naturally occurring and appearing across the sky.

And you allow yourself to just rest as spacious,

Open awareness.

Rather than noticing all the separate parts.

Sounds,

Sensations,

Thoughts.

Without particularizing each of these,

See it all as information appearing in awareness.

And awareness is primary.

Awareness is your natural essence.

It's what you are.

And so you rest empty,

Open and free like the sky where clouds come and go.

Awareness just is.

Awareness doesn't come and go because it's what you truly are.

You can't disappear.

Your attention may go out like a flashlight on an object.

It feels like it pulls you away from awareness.

So when you feel this pulling away,

Trace your way back into the primacy of you,

Of your essential being as awareness.

As you learn to rest in awareness,

Objects lose their ability to pull you away.

You become less fascinated by thoughts or sensations.

And you rest in the brilliant clarity and luminosity of awareness.

Awareness,

What you truly are,

Has no limit,

No boundaries or edges.

You are in everything and everything is in you.

Feel the peace of knowing the ground of your being as awareness.

Where you can finally rest your weary and tired mind.

Where you can rest in the beautiful clarity and freedom and openness of just this,

Just what's here now.

And no matter what arises,

Stress,

Sadness,

Anger,

Or joy even,

None of these need to be pushed away or pulled towards you.

Just notice what it's like to be with all of this experience in the boundless ground of awareness.

And now,

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes but maintain this inward gaze towards awareness.

As your eyes are open,

Allow light to come to you and sounds to come to you.

And you simply receive all of this in equanimity.

And this place,

This awareness is always here and can never leave you.

So you may return at any time to the boundless ground of your own beautiful,

Free,

And essentially loving being.

I thank you all so much for your practice.

Peace and love.

Namaste.
