As and when you're ready,

Gently closing your eyes and bringing your awareness to that breath in the belly,

That gentle rise and fall that happens automatically.

And we're not trying to control the breath in any way,

We're just allowing ourselves to step into that witnesser state where we can just observe what's going on.

No need to get drawn in,

No need to judge,

Just entering into that space of curiosity.

What's happening with the breath today?

Is that rhythm steady or is it a little bit more erratic?

Are you breathing deeply in this moment or is it more light and shallow?

Is it moving smoothly into the body or is it a bit more jittery today?

And remembering that neither one of these is better than the other.

Your breath is allowed to be whatever it is.

So bringing your awareness now to that area of the solar plexus,

The centre of the trunk of your body.

You may even want to place your hands there if that feels easier for you to connect into that space.

And just allowing that same curiosity to apply to this part of the body.

Just explore what's going on here for you today.

What sensations are present?

Does it feel quite busy here?

Perhaps there's very little sensation,

Perhaps it feels quite quiet inside.

Are there areas here that feel more vibrant,

More alive?

Areas that feel more numb?

And just allowing your awareness to explore all of that and considering those sensations and wondering if they had a colour,

What colour would they be?

What shape would they have?

What texture?

Just getting to know what's living here in this moment.

We're going to use the breath now to just bring a bit more vitality to this area of the body.

So on the in-breath,

Breathing in beautiful healing energy,

Vibrant life force into this area of the body and letting go of anything that needs to be released.

You may want to do that from the mouth,

Maybe even allowing a sigh if that feels good.

Breathing in more vital energy into this part of the body and sighing out anything that needs to be released.

Doing that again,

Breathing in that beautiful healing energy and releasing anything that no longer needs to be there and continuing that process at your own pace and beginning to release that practice now.

And just become aware of this area of the body again,

Noticing if anything shifted,

Changed,

Feels different,

No judgement if you feel like it hasn't changed.

You're allowed to have that experience.

And I invite you to imagine now that in this part of your body there sits a younger version of you,

The version of you that feels a little bit helpless.

And I invite you to imagine how young is this version of you?

What is their posture?

This will be the version of you that still embodied that childlike energy where you were reliant on others to have your needs met.

There would have been occasions where those needs weren't met,

Where you didn't receive perhaps maybe the physical things but often the emotional support that you needed.

You didn't feel seen,

Heard,

Understood.

And if any emotion comes up for you as you think about this,

That's fine.

Allow yourself to feel that.

Emotion's not something to be scared of or shy away from.

Allow those emotions to move through you.

See that younger version of you now who didn't feel seen,

Who didn't feel heard,

Who didn't feel understood,

Who didn't feel validated.

And we're going to allow this part of ourselves to heal in this moment by feeling the emotions that were present at that time and instead of suppressing them like we would have had to have done then,

Allowing them to be seen as they arise.

Maybe the sadness,

Maybe the anger.

It's just energy and motion,

Nothing to be frightened of.

And you're telling them all the words that you needed to hear in that moment.

Allow those words to come to you now and flow into that younger version of you.

Maybe you are loved,

You are seen,

You are heard.

I understand you.

It's okay for you to feel this way.

Whatever you want to say to them,

Say it to them now.

You may even want to imagine giving them a hug or an embrace as you share your loving words with them,

As you allow them to know it's okay.

It's okay.

You've got them.

And as and when feels ready,

Letting go of this image now.

And we're going to jump forward into the future,

Into the version of you that effortlessly owns their power with grace,

Ease,

Strength.

No need to control others.

No need to dominate or force.

No longer associated with the victim or the procrastinator avoider,

But effortlessly owning your power.

And this version of you now is going to share with you just like you shared with your younger version.

Everything you need to hear right now in order for you to re-find your power.

Allow those words to come into you now.

And again,

They may feel cool to embrace you,

To give you a hug if that feels good.

You may not visualize in a visual sense,

But you may just sense this is happening and knowing.

Don't overthink it.

Just allow it to be whatever it is.

But this time as you embrace,

This version of you merges within you.

You become that person that effortlessly owns your power and strength with grace and ease.

Notice how that feels in the body.

Where does that power lie?

What sensation does it have?

Allow that feeling to amplify.

For me,

Power has this,

Well of course,

Kind of energy to it.

Well of course I've got this.

Of course I'll figure it out.

Of course I've got what it takes.

There's no question.

Notice how good that feels.

To know there's nothing to worry about.

You have everything you need inside of you.

All the answers are within.

And taking a moment of gratitude now.

You may even want to put your hands on your heart's face if that feels good.

But just knowing that those times when perhaps you do feel a bit wobbly,

When you feel a little bit disconnected from your power,

You can come back to this,

This knowing,

This version of you.

They're always here within.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

And starting to notice now the feeling of the chair or ground,

Seat beneath you,

That feeling of contact where you end and that object begins.

Starting to notice the temperature of the room on your skin,

That feeling of air,

And any sounds that are gently calling you back to the outside world.

And as and when you're ready,

Slowly opening your eyes,

Coming back into the room.
