Hello there.

I'm really glad you're here.

Today I'll be guiding you through a calming gasho meditation.

It's one of the simplest and most peaceful Reiki practices to help you slow down and reconnect with yourself.

Gasho means palms together.

It's a traditional gesture in Reiki that symbolizes respect,

Unity and connection.

This meditation is all about turning inward and finding stillness in a really gentle,

Grounded way.

When you're ready,

Find a comfortable seat.

Sit upright but relaxed and gently bring your hands together in front of your chest,

Palms touching softly.

And if it feels good to you,

Go ahead and close your eyes.

Now take a slow,

Deep breath in and let it go.

Feel your hands meeting.

Just notice the connection between your palms and maybe even a little warmth in between them.

Let your breath settle into its natural rhythm.

Now gently bring your attention to the tips of your middle fingers.

And just lightly rest your focus there.

Notice if you feel anything.

A subtle energy,

A tingling or just a simple act of being still.

That's more than enough.

Let yourself sink into that calm space.

You don't need to do anything.

You can just be.

Try this with me.

Take a slow breath in for four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold it gently for four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And breathe out slowly for six.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Again,

Breathe in for four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale slowly for six.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

And one more time.

Inhale for four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for four.

One,

Two.

Exhale for six.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Feel yourself softening a little more with each breath.

And when you're ready,

Gently lower your hands and slowly open your eyes.

Thank you for sharing this peaceful moment with me.

I hope it brought you a bit of calm today.

Take good care and I'll see you next time.
