Hello all you wonderful souls.
Thank you so much for joining me today in today's safety meditation.
Safety is often something that we feel in the external world.
We often crave safety to be safe in a home,
To be safe in a job,
To be external safety.
But I want you to think of safety from within.
What does it feel like to feel safe in your body?
Is it something you've ever thought of?
Is it something that's new?
Do you feel safe in your body?
I want you to take a moment and just think of these questions.
What does safety mean or feel like to you?
And as we get ready to meditate on this,
I want you to think of the mantra of I am safe to feel.
I want you to get into a comfortable position.
Just feel relaxed.
And when you're ready,
I want you to close your eyes and bring your gaze inward.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
I want you to just get comfortable.
Feel your feet firmly on the ground.
Feel grounded,
Feel supported of the seat that you're sitting on.
Just relax.
And I want you to think of the word safe,
Safety.
I want you to think what does this mean to you?
Think of that thought.
And think of what it looks like in your mind's eye.
What does safety look like to you?
Take another deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
And now I want you to think of what safety feels like.
As you think of that feeling,
I want you now to just focus on where in your body do you feel safe.
What area in your body lights up for you?
Just take a moment to feel into your body.
Go at your own pace.
Just connect to your body in this moment.
Know that you are exactly where you need to be.
Take another deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
And whenever you feel a place in your body,
It can be in your heart,
In your chest,
Your back,
Your head,
Your legs,
Wherever you feel safe,
Just focus on that area.
Focus on the sensation,
Focus on the space where you feel safe.
Just connect to this feeling of safety.
Why don't you think of our mantra and say this in your mind?
I am safe to feel.
I am safe in my body.
I am safe to feel.
I am safe in my body.
When your mind wanders,
That's okay.
Just come back to that thought of I am safe to feel.
I am safe in my body.
And place your attention on the area where you feel safe and just focus on that.
Take another deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
Just continue to focus on the area you feel safe.
Just feel into it.
Repeat in your mind or out loud if you feel comfortable.
I am safe to feel.
I am safe in my body.
Take another deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
And I want you to place your hand on the area in your body where you feel safe.
Where you feel that safety.
I want you to place your hand on that place wherever it may be.
Just place your hand on that area where you feel safe right now.
Connect to this area,
Connect to this feeling and just be present in this moment feeling safe.
Know that no matter what's happening in the world right now,
The uncertainty,
The unknown,
Know that you are safe.
You are so safe in this moment in your body.
And you are safe in this moment in your body.
Take another deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
Just continue to think of the mantra.
I am safe to feel.
I am safe in my body.
I am safe to feel.
I am safe in my body.
Take another deep breath in through your nose and release out through your mouth.
And I just want you to take a moment to thank yourself for spending these soulful moments with me,
Taking a dive inwards and connecting to the space of safety.
Send yourself so much love for feeling safe and connecting to your body in such a beautiful way.
Know that whatever your day holds or whatever the days may come,
That you are safe and that you can tap into this space,
Into this energy at any moment of any day.
You can just quiet the mind,
Place your hand on the area that you feel safe and just take a few deep breaths as you go about your day.
And when you are ready,
I want you to start to bring awareness to your toes.
Wiggle your toes around,
Bring awareness back into your fingers.
Thank yourself again for this beautiful practice and this time you spent with yourself.
And when you are ready,
Bring awareness back into your body and blink your eyes open.
Have a wonderful day.
Thank you for spending these moments with me today and yourself.
