So,
Find a way to your interior.
And notice what it is like to shift your awareness to your interior.
Familiar,
Unfamiliar.
Soothing or disturbing.
And from this place of orientation bring your awareness to your breath.
Breathing is our most fundamental need.
And our most natural way to exchange with the world.
Notice if your breath is open or constricted in some ways.
This will give you information on how you feel.
Allowing your awareness to settle into the breath.
And to your breath to settle into your body.
Noticing the flow of breath and the rhythm of breath that connects us with the rhythm of the universe and Mother Earth.
Allow the breath to come on its own.
Invited by a muscular release,
Not a contraction.
And allow the breath to go on its own.
Deepening into this natural rhythm of life within you and around you.
Now,
With this natural movement of breath,
Let your awareness deepen into the pelvic center.
All the way down to your perineum.
As you perhaps feel your sitting bones touching the chair more consciously.
Notice how the pelvic floor is slightly pushing down towards the earth with the inhalation.
And releasing up with the exhalation following this natural rhythm.
Every breath a new descent,
Every breath a new release.
Notice how the pelvic floor requires to be engaged gently for this movement of the breath to be perceptible.
Notice how this deep release into the pelvic floor attunes you even more deeply to the rhythm of Mother Earth.
This can be your place of anchor.
Your place of stability.
To come back to over and over throughout the day.
Gently over and over engaging the pelvic floor with the release in your inhalation and in your exhalation.
Notice how you have arrived in the present moment with every inhalation and every exhalation.
In a simple and straightforward way.
Now from this place of centeredness within the pelvic floor.
Allow your awareness to include your surroundings.
As it comes into you through your senses.
To begin with the sound.
And then perhaps to also be aware of smell and taste and the sensation on your skin.
While having an anchor in your pelvic floor.
Notice if your awareness can have a sense of curiosity and freshness.
The truth is every breath is new.
Every moment is new.
We take some time here in silence together to be with the rhythm of life and breath in your pelvic floor.
In which you can engage your own authority to come back to the pelvic floor whenever you get lost in thoughts.
Beginning now to breathe more deeply.
Deep inhalations,
Deep exhalations.
Inhalations taking in new life.
Exhalations letting go.
As a way of getting ready to transition.
