Let's begin by sitting in a comfortable upright position that will allow you to breathe deeply and with ease.
If you are comfortable doing so you may gently close your eyes or else you can just softly gaze at a spot in front of you.
Take a deep breath in allowing a sense of ease and relaxation to enter your body.
As you breathe out allow all tension to flow from your body.
Let's do this for three more breaths.
Inhale ease and relaxation into your body and release all tension from your body as you exhale.
Inhale ease and relaxation and release tension with your exhale.
Inhale ease and relaxation and release every last bit of tension from your body.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural pattern.
Spend the next few moments observing your breath in your heart area.
There is no need to change or control your breath.
Just focus on the area around your heart and feel your breath as it softly expands this area and lightly leaves your body again.
So carefully shift your focus to your mental image of yourself.
Perhaps you connect with your own name or a visual image or idea about yourself.
Focus on holding yourself within that space in your heart.
Hold yourself in your heart tenderly with love and compassion.
Now quietly say to yourself May I be healthy.
May I be peaceful.
May my life be filled with joy.
Breathe these words into your heart opening yourself up to the fact that you deserve to feel healthy peaceful and joyful.

Take this thought to any part of your body mind or spirit that may not be feeling completely well and hold it there.
Allow your thoughts of health to permeate every part of your every part of your being.
