Welcome to the waning moon self-love meditation.
You have the option today of holding on to a crystal such as Rose Quartz for this meditation to enhance the loving vibes.
When you're ready take a seat or perhaps lie down whatever feels most comfortable for you today.
Getting comfortable and closing down the eyes.
If you are holding on to a crystal please place the crystal in your non-dominant hand.
So if you're right-handed holding the crystal in your left hand or alternatively placing it over your heart chakra.
Let's begin by taking some deep breaths using the alternate nostril breathing technique or Nadi Shraddhaana.
To do this place your pointer and middle finger of your right hand onto your third eye so that your thumb can block the right nostril and the knuckle of your ring finger can block the left nostril.
Using the thumb to block the right nostril breathe in through the left nostril and then switch over the knuckle and the thumb so that the right nostril is open and exhale through the right nostril.
Inhale through the right nostril then exhale through the left nostril.
Inhale through the left,
Exhale through the right,
Inhale through the right and exhale through the left.
Inhale through the left and exhale through the right.
Releasing the right hand now and resume your normal breathing.
Taking gentle deep breaths in and out through the nose.
As we move through the waning moon phase this is a time for letting go,
Releasing and coming to stillness as we come closer to the new moon.
The waning moon is the perfect time for opening your heart,
To forgive others,
To be generous and also to love yourself turning your focus inwards.
You've possibly been expending a lot of your energy during the waxing moon towards manifesting your goals,
Doing all the hard work that is required.
But after the full moon as the moon's energy begins to wane it's the perfect time to shift your focus towards treating yourself with loving kindness,
Towards healing yourself and towards opening yourself with compassion.
I'm going to guide you through some loving affirmations today.
I'll say the affirmation first then you can repeat the affirmation silently in your mind.
Let's begin.
I love myself.
Today I choose to nourish myself in every possible way.
The health of my mind,
Body and spirit is important.
I open myself to compassion.
I forgive all who have done wrong things by me.
I share unconditional love with everyone who I meet.
I love myself unconditionally.
I respect myself lovingly.
Today I look after my own needs first and foremost.
It is not selfish to love myself.
I am allowed to love myself fully.
I accept every part of myself.
I forgive myself.
I am so grateful for the beautiful person I am.
I'm going to give you a moment here to let these affirmations reverberate in your mind.
Feel free to continue to repeat these affirmations or perhaps some of your own.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your body now.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose and exhale.
Give your toes a stretch and a wriggle.
Bring some movement into your hands and fingers.
Connecting with your beautiful physical body.
As you prepare to move out of this meditation keep that feeling of love in your heart with you today.
Remember to love yourself.
You are perfect and you are allowed to love yourself.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Namaste.
