
Guided Meditation *Deep Gratitude*

This is a guided meditation taking into the depths of your own experience allowing you to access and emulate deep Gratitude for this physical form. We give thanks and appreciation for all that we have in this life.
Transcript
Inhale in through the nose and exhale side out.
Releasing releasing letting go.
Inhale in through the nose and exhale side out.
Exhale releasing releasing letting go.
Deep inhale in through the nose and exhale letting go letting go letting go.
Deep inhale in through the nose and exhale letting go.
Slowly begin to check in with the body as we'll begin a brief body scan.
Bringing your awareness into the toes perhaps wriggling them around just a bit ever so slightly.
Taking note of the toes giving thanks and gratitude for your toes.
In fact many of us would be unable to walk without our toes and yet we often forget this point.
Gratitude and appreciation.
Bringing our awareness into the feet giving thanks and appreciation for our feet that take us wherever we want to go without asking any questions.
Taking a moment to give thanks and appreciation and gratitude for our ankles and the connection between our legs and our feet.
The ankles being that joint connection keeping us together.
Continuing the body scan up into the calves and the shins giving appreciation for this area of the body.
Keeping the body scan up to the knees remembering that these knees allow us to bend our legs and to move freely to dance with grace and to walk about and we give thanks and appreciation.
Bringing our attention up into the thighs giving thanks and gratitude for this connective tissue and the strength that exists in our legs.
Keeping our attention in this body scan sweeping into the hips and the glutes and the sacral energy giving thanks and appreciation and gratitude for all of the energy swirling in this area the movement the possibility the depth.
Moving the body scan up into the lower back the belly taking a nice deep breath as we bring our attention to this area.
When we are in our mother's womb this is how we stay nourished.
We eat through our belly button and yet when we are born Mother Earth becomes our surrogate and so we stay connected through the belly through the breath giving thanks and appreciation for this core that holds our body the center of this human being.
Keeping the body scan up into the chest taking a nice deep inhale and inhale and inhale and inhale giving such gratitude for this area of our body sacred space housing all of our vital organs our heart our lungs our digestive system bringing so much possibility and life into this being.
As we open up with the breath we open up our possibilities we open up with gratitude and appreciation as this is our highest good and we give thanks.
Moving through the body scan as we perhaps wiggle the fingers the tips of the fingers recognizing that this dexterity is in fact powerful our fingers allow us to do so much express connect and we give thanks.
Continuing in the body scan into the hands themselves recognizing that our hands do the work of our hearts yes our hands do the work of our hearts perhaps even the work of our minds through these simple tools we are able to express our love our creativity and we give thanks and appreciation for the work of our hands.
Moving through the body scan connecting at the wrists recognizing that the flare and the funk of our hands connects to our arms allows us that much more color energy swirling rotating connecting recognizing the flick of our wrist is a powerful powerful thing and we give thanks and appreciation.
Moving through our body scan into the forearms recognizing the connector and we give thanks for this area of the body.
Continuing to breathe at a natural normal pace we move our attention to the elbows recognizing that they allow us to connect and move bringing us strength and possibility and we give thanks.
Continuing to move through our body scan moving into the upper arm biceps and triceps recognizing that as we give our hugs and our love this part of our arm connects and opens.
We give thanks and appreciation.
We move now through our body scan into the shoulders such expression comes through this area opening us up and allowing us to feel so deeply carrying us forward exactly where we want to go and we give thanks and appreciation.
Moving through our body scan opening up in the chest and the neck realizing that this swivel brings our personality to life the tingling sensations and feelings that come through our neck connects houses our spine from the tailbone to the top of the head our neck supports our head upwards of 13 pounds carries this around effortlessly.
We give thanks and appreciation.
Moving our relaxing body scan up we check in with the jaw relaxing and dropping down giving such thanks and appreciation for this jaw it houses our teeth keeps our face with such dimension allows us to eat and to chew.
We give thanks and appreciation.
Moving through our body scan into the mouth recognizing our teeth each and every one playing its role whether here or not present we understand the power.
Our teeth serve such a function bringing such structure to our face allowing us to eat and to chew to smile to laugh to look we give thanks and appreciation.
Checking in during this body scan with our tongue the quick flick of the tongue so quick to speak and to say and yet always obeys our tongue allows us to swallow to drink fluids that nourish our bodies to move our food through our digestive system to begin the salivatory process bringing saliva into the food and so much more.
We give thanks and appreciation.
Continuing to move through the body scan we check in with the cheeks allowing our smiles to flourish our cheeks are there high and proud.
We give thanks and appreciation.
Moving through our body scan checking in with our ears whatever our level to hear our ability to listen our ears facilitate allowing us to perceive be in conversation with ourselves and with others to experience all the sounds that music has to offer.
Your sound is in fact music to your ears and for this we give thanks and appreciation.
Moving through our body scan into the eyes recognizing they are in fact portals to a deeper soul looking into the windows of our eyes we see ourselves so much clearer.
Our eyes do our bidding checking here checking there ensuring the safety and the care of ourselves and our loved ones attending to the details of our work alerting us to things in our lives we must be paying attention to and yet with our eyes closed they can still see this time on the inside.
Our eyes are three dimensional and we give thanks and appreciation.
Moving to the eyebrows themselves destined to shield the eyes to act in conjunction many see them as a frame for the beauty of the face.
Our eyebrows allow us to give such expression emphasizing our connection and we give thanks and appreciation.
Moving now in our body scan into the forehead connects our face to our head allows us to amplify the expression of the eyebrows frames our face in such a beautiful way and we give thanks and appreciation.
Moving now into the head the scalp the crown chakra even allowing whatever adorns our head to be part of our personal acceptance and expression we give thanks for that that we have and that which we do not.
And as we breathe we take a moment to go from the top of our head all the way down to the bottom of our feet and back again scanning with the energy allowing the tingling sensations to overcome us to feel the blood pumping and our heart beating and our lungs breathing our body in unison without any instructions.
We must not command our heart to beat it does it on its own we must not command our lungs to expand they do it on their own we must not remember to time our digestion it moves in its own synchronicity on its own we must not beg our feet to dance in fact they follow our command we must not think too hard and allow the brain synapses to work in order they move in their own time these systems these bodies immaculate exceptional excellent at whatever capacity they are functioning they are functioning even without you in autonomous repetitious cycles and some wish they had the capacities and the facilities that you carry in your body we must not take these faculties for granted we must remember everything that we have and even the things we do not have make us unique make us special makes you you and so we give thanks and appreciation for this body this temple this energy this life this breath this moment this opportunity to be grateful for that we are grateful and we know when we move from a space of gratitude first everything else that we truly desire will come next we must feel the energy of gratitude wash over us we must embody the energy of gratitude in each word we speak we must bring to life appreciation in the work of our hands we must remember to be in gratitude as we speak as we think as we do recognizing that the more we appreciate we bring that center within and as the saying goes what you appreciate appreciates what you appreciate appreciates it grows in value so spend time valuing yourself spend time bringing love and light to yourself for this is in fact your highest calling
