In this guided visualization you will learn how to use the 'Conscious-connected' process for self-healing. A technique using neurons from the heart and neurons from the brain to heal areas of the body that are ill, tense, painful, uncomfortable, stressed, and anxious. Our bodies are designed to self-heal - this gentle guide is a reminder for one's physiology to do just that.

Hello,

I'm Helen Hansen,

A kinesiologist and mind-body facilitator based in Cape Town,

South Africa.

Here on Inside Time,

I'm sharing with you meditations for the purpose of healing,

Emotional upliftment,

And to restore calm and peace in the body and mind.

Today we are going to be activating self-healing for the physical body.

Now our bodies are designed to naturally self-heal.

When this does not take place automatically,

Then we need to intentionally and consciously step in to assist to promote alignment between the physical body,

The mental mind,

And the spiritual well-being.

When all of those have a balance,

You can imagine it like a triangle,

Equilateral triangle.

When all sides of the equilateral triangle are balanced,

There is harmony and alignment.

When one of those sides goes out of sync,

It affects the other sides.

But likewise,

When one of those areas within us,

Our physiology,

Psychology,

Our chemistry,

Our spirituality,

Any of those areas receive nourishment and are uplifted,

Then it is going to impact in a positive way all the other areas in our holistic system as well.

So this is what we are doing here today with this technique,

Is creating an alignment with all those areas,

And in so doing,

Activating a natural self-healing.

So if you can please find a comfortable position to be in,

It can be standing,

It can be sitting,

It can be lying down,

As long as the spine is straight.

So take a moment to position yourself and just ensure that you are comfortable.

And of course,

If you need to readjust throughout the process,

Feel free to do so.

Okay,

Let's just take a few moments to unwind.

So rolling the shoulders forwards,

Up and backwards a few times,

Opening up the upper chest area,

Heart center area,

Lungs,

Benefiting the immune system as well,

Taking a deep breath in and sighing out.

One more deep breath in,

Sigh out,

And let the body become still now.

Let the mind be still as well.

And if you still notice thoughts coming in and out,

Just allow them to move on.

And you can facilitate this with the breath.

So just the intention of breathing that thought out before it completes will keep you in charge of this process.

Okay,

So if you're comfortable,

You can close your eyes.

Otherwise,

Choose a spot to look downwards to.

It doesn't have to be completely on the ground,

As long as the eyes are in a downward glance,

They're relaxed,

Relaxing the facial muscles now,

Allowing the jaw to drop ever so slightly so the mouth is slightly open.

We hold a lot of emotions in our jaw hinge.

Just feel that relaxation moving down the cheeks,

Down the neck,

Allowing the neck to feel flexible,

Allowing the throat to open,

Feel calm,

And then intentionally relaxing the shoulders and feeling the upper area of the back moving and extending outwards.

So there's an expansion of the muscles on the upper back area as you breathe in and exhale.

We're going to repeat that in the middle section of the back now,

Allowing this area to as well extend and relax outwards with the breath,

Inhaling,

Exhaling,

Moving down to the lower area of the back and repeating.

Just feeling that complete opening in the lower back and just feel that relaxation move into the hips,

Expanding the hips,

Allowing the lower extremities now to feel gravity,

To feel heavy,

And to sink into the ground,

Into the earth,

No matter what position you are in.

Complete relaxation.

One more deep breath in,

Gently sighing out.

And now we're going to take our left hand and place it in the center of your chest.

So the center of your palm should be around the area of the bottom of the sternum in your chest.

And I want you to notice if you can,

If you feel a very,

Very slight pulsing in the center point into your palm.

You might need to just move your palm around a little bit just to find that point.

If you can feel it,

That's the spot you want to be.

And sometimes it feels like it moves.

It might be a little bit higher today,

Tomorrow a little bit lower.

That's all okay.

Just listen to the body,

Follow the body,

And just allow the hand to settle there.

And if you cannot feel anything in that center point of the chest,

That is okay too.

Just allow,

Completely allow your body to be as it is right now.

And now with your other hand,

The right hand,

Very lightly placing it on your forehead.

So what we are doing here is we are creating a healing circuit.

We are connecting the neurons in the heart center to the neurons in the brain and creating a heart-brain resonance.

I don't want you to think about this too much now.

Now you are just experiencing and just allowing your magnificently designed body to do the work it has been created to do.

And your hands,

Which are acting as magnets,

Are directing this work right now.

Just allow that and trust in this process.

It's a very,

Very light touch of the hands on the body.

And slowly we're deepening the breath,

Keeping the breath relaxed.

While we deepen and we feel it travel down further,

Perhaps our lungs are able to expand to the sides,

Whatever is comfortable for you.

The key here is comfort,

Relaxation,

Calm.

Keep focusing on the breath.

And you can imagine now,

Visualize a beautiful flow of current,

Of information,

A circular field between your two hands.

Add colors,

Light,

Feeling,

Temperature.

Make it as harmonizing and as supportive for you as is possible.

For some of us,

Visualizing means feeling.

For others,

It means seeing.

For some,

It could also mean hearing.

And perhaps a combination of all of these as well.

Keep breathing slowly and comfortably.

If your hands get tired at any point,

You can swap them around.

Keep focusing on how your conscious field of healing energy that you are creating here feels to you.

How does it look?

How do you notice it?

How does it show up for you?

And as you continue to breathe,

Allowing the breath to flow out your mouth through an open mouth into the center of this healing circuit.

You can just allow whatever feelings,

Sensations,

Visuals come up for you as you let your breath move through this healing circuit,

Charging it even more.

And while keeping your attention in this field,

Likewise,

Place your attention on the area of your physical body that has been showing up for you as painful,

Perhaps as ill.

Maybe it's inflamed.

Maybe it feels stuck,

Swollen,

Tense.

Wherever it is in your physical body that is feeling discomfort,

Place your attention there as well.

And with your attention on this area and with your attention on this beautiful healing circuit that you've created,

You are allowing the natural healing current of your body to be transported to the area that needs attention just by you placing your attention on that area while being in the space of natural self-healing.

So just allow yourself to maintain connection with these two places,

Intentionally allowing,

Intentionally accepting,

Intentionally facilitating.

You're going to remain in this space for the next two minutes.

Keep breathing,

Keep the focus,

Keep the relaxation,

Swap the hands around if you need,

And I will let you know when the two minutes is complete.

Taking one more deep breath in,

And on the exhalation,

Gradually relax your arms and hands to the side,

Letting go of the focus,

Allowing your focus and attention now to be placed on the whole body,

Allowing the whole body to relax completely.

Just take a moment to give thanks for your body,

For its design,

For its wisdom,

And for being here with you today.

I thank you for being here with me today,

And trust this has served you.

And know that you can use this technique for yourself at any time.

It doesn't only have to be in a quiet space.

You can use it while sitting at your desk,

In the kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil,

Many opportunities throughout the day where we have a few gaps.

Use these gaps to be with your body and to create a resonance between your brain and your body,

Which will help to remind it of its natural ability,

An automatic ability for self-healing.

If you are wanting more support for your physical healing,

I do provide personalized guided visualizations in a meditative style exactly around your issue and your requested solution.

Thank you and be well.
