Hello and welcome to this brain recharge practice.
For today's session,
I wanted to really focus on the intention of being the change and what it means to prepare ourselves to show up with the type of energy that we wish to see in the world around us.
So I invite you to settle into a comfortable position and gently close your eyes.
Allow yourself to start to bring your attention to your breath and just gently notice how it feels as you breathe in and out naturally and comfortably.
With each inhale,
Notice the newness of the air that you breathe.
And as you exhale,
Gently letting go of any tension that you might be feeling in your body.
Letting in the positive energy and letting go of anything that doesn't serve you in this moment.
And as you continue to settle into your body in this moment,
I invite you to think about something or someone that you feel grateful for and begin to notice how it feels in your body as you experience gratitude.
Staying connected with your breath.
Breathing in and letting go and allowing the sensation of gratitude to wash over your body.
And from this place of stillness and comfort,
I invite you to ask the question,
What is it that you wish to see in the space around you?
What is the type of energy that you'd like to experience and that you would wish for others to experience?
As you reflect on this intention,
I want to invite you to anchor yourself in this thought and in this sensation of allowing yourself to be that change.
To show up with that type of energy in the time that you have.
Consider what that looks like,
What it feels like and begin to train your brain and your body to embody this energy.
And it can help to create just a simple mantra with the words,
I am.
With the energy you wish to show up with is light.
Simply repeating I am as you breathe in and light as you breathe out.
If your intention is to be at peace,
You might breathe in I am,
Breathing out peace.
Or perhaps it's an intention like connection or connected.
And just reflecting on that word and what it looks like and feels like.
Or even just using a simple phrase,
Breathing in connection.
Breathing out connection.
And with this prime time practice,
We anchor our minds,
Our brains,
Our bodies in the energy state that we want to be in with a simple word or phrase to anchor and come back to throughout the day.
Building in moments of time and space where we can come back to just a few moments of practice,
Connecting with our breath,
Feeling a state of gratitude for the moment and coming back once again to our intention.
Committing to show up with the energy that we wish to have for the time that we have.
And now when you're ready,
I invite you to go ahead and gently open your eyes,
Bringing your attention back to the space that you're in.
Allow yourself to move your body gently and slowly and intentionally enjoying the sensations of movement.
And I want to encourage you to come back to this short practice anytime you really need to anchor into this intention of what it feels like to be the change.
And even just for a few moments to bring your awareness to your breath,
Feel a sense of gratitude and anchor in your breath and your energy into your desire for the world around you as an energy fueled through you.
