Arriving here in this moment,
Find yourself in a supportive position,
Seated gently with a tall spine or laying down to welcome rest.
Feel the surface below you,
Holding you,
Offering you a sense of safety and stability here.
Begin to tune in to your breath,
Flowing in and out with ease,
The subtle rise and fall.
As we invite more space to our breath and to our bodies,
Breathe in slowly and deeply.
Breathe out,
Let something go,
Breathing in to expand your edges,
Breathing out,
Softening the mind,
Softening the body.
With this sense of softness,
Tune in to any areas where you may still be holding some tension.
Check in with your shoulders,
Your belly.
Notice your jaw and the muscles in your face.
Can you offer yourself a touch of release,
If only for this moment,
To let the rigidity fall away and be replaced with tenderness.
Notice your hands and notice your feet.
Allow these places to be an anchor,
To be both a sense of grounding and a reminder of your gentleness,
Landing here in your body.
As you continue to breathe fully and kindly into the softness of your body,
Allow your awareness to expand the entirety of you to your physical body,
Your emotional body.
May even notice the thoughts that are still present,
What's calling your attention.
Can you let it be just as it is?
Having an ICU to whatever may be found here,
This too belongs.
As you allow whatever is coming up to also find place in this moment,
Can you extend it gratitude for showing you where your energy is flowing,
How you're truly feeling and where you might need to offer yourself a little extra tender loving care.
Become aware again of your hands.
Feel into the beating and flowing of energy and connection here.
If it feels nourishing,
You may wish to place your hands lovingly on your heart,
Breathing deeply into your palms and into your heart space.
Inhale to expand.
Exhale receive this sense of calm.
Breathing with this moment exactly as it is,
As you are,
With compassion,
With sweetness,
With grace.
Notice your body.
Notice your breath.
Allow this ease of being to wash over you,
To permeate your bones,
Your every cell,
Dropping into the present with your breath and with your body.
Exhale once more.
Exhale with gratitude to yourself.
You're taking a moment to reconnect.
Breathing back in your body.
May stay here in stillness as long as you wish.
As you're ready,
Begin to open your eyes and lift your gaze.
Slowly and tenderly moving forward into your day.
Breathing in release.
