Enchanting Heartbeat | Yoga Nidra
This nidra is designed to gradually draw the beat of your heart to overflow its vessel and spill beyond the boundaries of your skin. Watch your heart expanding outside of you, amplifying the field surrounding you. Each beat of your heart transmits your inner state into the external world. Your whole body is one benevolent orchestra designed to create a symphony with all of life.
Transcript
Shut that thought out Guide yourself into the position of Shavasana.
Surrendering into a posture that provides a willingness to be still and receptive.
This may include lying on your backs with your arms alongside your body.
You may choose to have a cushion or a bolster under your knees.
A light blanket over your body for greater comfort and ease.
Allow your entire back body to be in one long beautiful line.
And when all is aligned,
Begin to ground down through the denser areas of your body.
Back of the head.
The bones of the shoulders.
The flesh of the buttocks.
The softness of the calves.
And finally the weight of the back of your heels.
Use the density of your body as a guide into restoration and stillness.
Lean more fully into the container of your body.
To release any holding,
Any gripping,
Any resistance to the practice.
Trust that any wandering of your mind space will decrease as you linger in a state of stillness.
Draw your attention into a closer relationship with your breath.
Sense its ability to settle you into a deeper pocket of relaxation.
Simply by observing its movement and its rhythm.
Trace the line of warm air as it enters in through your nose and releases out through your nose.
Gentle and steady.
Rest back into the support of your own form.
Using your breath as a guiding force into deeper realms of restfulness.
The practice of yoganidra begins now.
Yoganidra is a mystical slumber.
A state of deep relaxation.
Offering introspection and meditative inquiry.
It is a journey of settling into deeper states of rest.
So that the curtains of our unconscious can slowly part.
And reveal a space where our inner light can be seen,
Felt,
And absorbed.
Support this journey now by drawing your senses from the periphery to the midline.
Expand your inner ear to tune into the sound frequencies of the room.
Maintain your awareness.
And now slowly start to spiral your attention from the external sounds of the room into the internal sounds of your body.
Be in a space of allowing.
And give permission to turn your listening inwards and begin to become so enthralled with your inner symphony of your body.
From the melodic listening of your inner landscape,
Begin to feel more deeply internal sensations.
The sensation of breath moving in and out of your form.
The sensation of blood circulating through your veins and your arteries.
The sensation of your heartbeat.
See if you can go deeper into the sensations of your heartbeat.
And as you feel into the nexus of your own heart,
Listen for the innermost voice of wisdom that resides here.
In this space of deep listening,
Call forth your sankalpa.
Your positive I AM statement.
From the origins of your heart,
Repeat your sankalpa three times internally now.
I will now guide you through a rotation of consciousness using the map of your physical body.
See if you can feel rather than think the point of your body I draw your attention towards.
And with each breath,
Infuse these points with reverence.
Feel into your right hand thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Pinky finger.

Hold your entire physical body in deep reverence now.
Allow your physical layer to brim to its boundary.
With your next exhale,
Allow your physical body to spill into your energy layer of your body.
Feel the energy of your body filling your entire being with life and vitality.
Invite your breath,
Your transporter of this life force,
To engage more fully with this energy.
Sense the energy that is carried into your body with each inhale.
Sense the energy that is released back out with each exhale.
Feel your breath curvaciously exploring your deep pockets and shallow spaces.
Sense how it snakes through the sinews of your muscles,
The grooves of your bones,
Always returning back to the home dwelling of the lungs and the heart.
Settle into the rhythm and the cadence of the lungs and your heart.
We will now count backwards from 19 to 1.
Allow both ends of the breath to complete one count.
I will do the first few with you.
Inhale 19.
Exhale 19.
Inhale 18.
Exhale 18.
Continue counting backwards.
If you lose your count,
Simply start again and remind yourself you are practicing Yoganidra.
You will stay awake and alert.

Feel the space between the cells of your body.
Your whole body is light.
Your whole body is light.
Your whole body is light.
Now suspend any disbelief that what is coming next is not possible.
Feel both light and heavy all at once.
Both light and heavy all at once.
Feel your body both light and heavy all at once.
Release the sensations of heavy and light,
And merge into the sensation of heat.
Feel your body becoming very hot.
Go into your body and feel your heat rising.
If you cannot feel the sensation of heat,
Call forth an image of yourself basking in the sun with no shade.
The sun is penetrating your skin,
Offering no reprieve.
There is no breeze.
There is no clouds,
Just the steady rise of temperature.
Your whole body is hot.
Your whole body is hot.
Now merge away from the sensation of heat and come into relationship with its opposite,
The sensation of cold.
Come to the change in temperature as you begin to conjure the sensations of cold.
Witness your body being submerged into an icy lake on a sub-zero day.
Your body is so cold it becomes rigid and stiff.
Your whole body is cold.
And now release the sensory dance of opposites and come to rest in the center between your eyebrows.
Move beyond the surface awareness of the third eye and feel now the energetic center of this space.
Go deeper still behind the energy center and land into the mind screen of your awareness,
Chittakash.
As I call out images and sensation,
Notice if the mind screen remains blank or if images arise and fall back from the space of Chittakash.
There is no right or wrong way to practice the long legs of a flamingo bird,
A blue lime,
Calloused hands,
A coastal clothesline,
An untouched field of snow,
The sound of a mosquito buzzing as you try to fall asleep.
A child laying their head on a pregnant mother's belly.
A lone shoe on a deserted highway.
A mountain lit up from behind with the setting sun.
A big white dog running in a field.
A big white dog running in a field.
A big white dog running in a field.
The laughter of someone you love.
Your own beating heart.
Stay in the presence and sensation of your own beating heart.
Start to feel from the inside out the enchanting beat of your own heart.
Imagine yourself sitting in your favorite place,
Enjoying the pleasure of listening to your own heartbeat.
Its melody is like a mantra sung through thousands of years.
There is a knowing from nothing you've been taught that this is a sacred place.
A place that feels like home and yearns to be in closer relation with you.
The longer you linger,
The more profound your heart space becomes.
Gradually the beat of your heart overflows its vessel and spills beyond the boundaries of your skin.
Watch your heart expand outside of you,
Amplifying the field surrounding you.
Each beat of your heart transmits your inner state to the external world.
Your whole body is one benevolent orchestra designed to create a symphony with all of life.
Witness yourself merge with it all.
Your human form is the link between your individual consciousness and universal consciousness.
Dissolve into the formlessness,
The unmanifest,
The unbounded awareness.
Allow it to give birth to something new within you.
That is your birth.
You You You San Kapa San Kapa San Kapa Come into the seed of your San Kapa.
Observe it deeply with your fullest of self,
Your highest of self.
Mentally repeat your San Kapa three times now.
Sense your own individual essence being formed again out of the oneness.
Your own essence begins to take shape.
You can once again feel your own breath,
Your legs,
Your arms,
Your head.
Begin receiving information from immediate sensations,
The sounds in the room,
The temperature of your skin,
The pressure of your clothing,
The taste in your mouth,
Smell in the room,
Becoming fully embodied.
Feel whole,
Rested,
In harmony and in peace with the inner and outer worlds.
The practice of Yoganidra is now complete.

Thank you.i enjoyed the quality of your voice and the imagery. Deeply relaxing. There was a sound similar to someone breathing, especially during the first six minutes that I found distracting. It was there even when you were talking, so it was not your breath. Nevertheless, this was a five star meditation. Namasté.
