.

Guide yourself into the position of Shavasana.

Surrendering into a position that provides a willingness to be still and receptive.

This may include lying on your back with your arms alongside your body.

You may choose to have a cushion or a bolster under your knees.

A light blanket over your body for greater comfort.

Allow your entire back body to be in one long line.

Tune into a level of comfort in this posture of Shavasana that allows your body to be both warm and supported.

And when all is aligned and all is in its optimal level of comfort,

Casually turn your attention in towards your breath.

As you inhale,

Feel how your heart floats away from the back of the ribs.

And as you exhale,

It tenderly releases back down.

Tune into this for a few breaths now.

Guide your mind's eye down into the region of your hips.

With your next inhale,

Lift your hips slightly up off of the earth.

Then feel them gently pillow back down again.

Continue to descend,

Taking your awareness into your legs.

Notice if there is a desire for more length or space.

If so,

Gently raise one leg an inch or two from the ground.

Lengthen from the hip crease to the heel and surrender back down.

Repeat to the opposite side.

Lift,

Lengthen,

And surrender back down.

Finally,

Adjust your positioning in any way so that you can stay steady and still to begin the journey inward.

Allow your eyes to liquefy in your sockets and settle more deeply into the inner eye of self observation.

Turn your focus more inwards,

Deeper in towards your breath.

Deeper still into the healing qualities of your breath.

Begin to scan your body and calling in the healing qualities of your breath wherever your body needs encouragement to surrender and to soften.

Feel your breath as a vibrational wave connecting to the bigger river of life.

Each inhale rises to a slight pause before releasing back down once again.

Use your breath as guide for the mind to settle into a deep state of listening.

Your mind will relax into a more balanced state when there is permission and allowance for your body to naturally tune into stillness.

Imagine your body in a relaxed stillness.

Embody yourself into a relaxed stillness.

Trust in the power of stillness to create more stillness,

More relaxation,

Increased receptivity.

It is only when the body is still and the mind relaxed that the curtains reveal the space of eternal stillness.

And this stillness is not empty or mundane,

But rather filled with a unified field of oneness.

Allow every breath that is taken from this moment onwards to attune you with the field of oneness.

The practice of Yoga Nidra begins now.

Yoga Nidra is a journey of remembrance,

A remembrance that honors the teachings of our past,

The voices that offer wise counsel,

And the wisdom that reminds us our medicine is needed.

This love in the form of remembrance is layered in the vibrational tone of your heart.

Pause and encourage your heart to expand and receive this love.

With an expanded heart,

Spread the wings of your lungs far and wide,

Like the soft whispers of life written on the pages of the everyday.

Into this expansive valley of remembrance,

Bring forth your sankalpa.

Receive a lingering sweet breath and soak up your sankalpa.

See your fullest self as your sankalpa.

Allow another moment to simply revel in its wonderment.

Repeat your sankalpa internally,

Yet powerfully,

Three times now.

Your sankalpa will completely manifest in your life if there is permission and allowance to do so.

We will now move into Anamaya Kosha,

The material body built and nourished by the universe itself.

Let your awareness flow from body part to body part as I mentioned them.

From Anamaya Kosha,

We travel further inside to another body made of energy.

It fills the physical body and takes its shape.

This frequency is more subtle,

More energetic as we allow consciousness to experience the breath,

The unrestricted form of your natural breath.

Stay so present and awake so that consciousness can experience your breath.

Now let consciousness experience your breath through the vibrational tone of an internal mantra.

So hum is the song of the breath.

With each inhale,

Internally breathe the sound of so.

With each exhale,

Internally breathe the sound of hum.

So hum.

So hum.

So hum.

Continue like this for the next several moments and I will softly guide you back when complete.

So hum.

Return back into my voice and tenderly release the mantra of so hum.

From the layer of energy,

Travel further into the more subtle realm of Manamaya Kosha,

The third sheath or mental body responsible for processing input from our senses.

Allow any sensation experienced here permission to blossom,

Arise and release back down.

Feel each sensation in its purest form.

Feel each sensation in its purest form.

Confusion.

Confusion.

Confusion.

Notice what came up.

Any flashes,

Association or symbols that have surfaced.

Only observe and allow.

Now tune into the sensation of confusion.

What does it feel like?

Let the sensation be what it is without any control or manipulation.

Confusion.

Stay relaxed and allow the sensation to be exactly what it is.

Confusion.

So hum.

Clarity.

Clarity.

Clarity.

Notice any flashes or images that come along with clarity.

Have no attachment to them.

Just observe.

Feel deeply the sensation of clarity.

Do not interfere at all with the feeling tone of clarity.

Allow it to simply bubble to the surface.

Clarity.

Resentment.

Resentment.

Resentment.

Witness the first flashes that arise.

Resentment.

Have full detachment and awaken to the sensation that resentment produces.

Let it fully express itself as you stay allowing.

Resentment.

Resentment.

Forgiving.

Forgiving.

Forgiving.

What was the first thing that came up with forgiving?

Allow the vibrational tone of forgiving to be expressed and experienced in you at this time.

Forgiving.

Return to the quiet field of consciousness that is watching itself.

Release the realm of the mental body and journey subtler into Vijanamaya Kosha.

Encompassing the higher mind of wisdom,

Consciousness,

And will.

Settle deeply into attention and prepare for rapid visualization as I call off numerous images that the very first impressions float to your conscious awareness.

Only observe what surfaces with no judgment or interference.

Stay present and interested in the sound of my voice.

Relax all effort and allow for the impressions to show themselves on your mind screen.

The soft skin of a newborn.

A bleak midwinter day.

The sound of waves crashing up against the rocks.

A group of friends laughing around a campfire.

A clock ticking.

A clock ticking.

A clock ticking.

A butterfly emerging from its chrysalis.

Fresh carrots from the garden.

A tennis ball from the garden.

A tennis ball alone on an empty court.

The place where dreams come true.

A mother's breast full of milk.

Seeing someone you love in pain.

Seeing someone you love in pain.

Seeing someone you love in pain.

A juicy watermelon on a hot summer day.

Red and white balloons being released into the sky.

A golden thread of light descending from pure water.

A golden thread of light descending from pure consciousness.

Hold the image of a golden thread of light descending from pure consciousness.

Notice how it glows like a soft early morning dawn.

Shamelessly glowing as it dances in the shimmer of its own brilliance.

Now as though you are observing from outside of yourself.

Watch as this golden light of energy journeys along the path that guides and leads from the space of pure consciousness into the crown of your head.

The path that guides and leads from the space of pure consciousness into the crown of your head.

Feel the dance of light as it enters here.

The top of your head.

Feel the dance of light as it enters here.

The top of your head becomes more permeable.

More available to this light that is pouring in.

As you gaze upon this golden thread.

See an illuminated round sphere like a drop of honey.

Begin to travel from pure consciousness down the thread of light and gingerly enter into the center of your mind.

Watch this golden drop land in the geometric center of your mind space.

As you zoom in closer to this honey like drop.

You see that it is a precious golden seed.

As you zoom in closer to this honey like drop.

You see that it is a precious golden seed.

The kosha layers of the mind and body provide the earth like protection in which to cradle this seed.

Your seed.

Your senkelpa seed.

Your seed is encoded with the wisdom to trust in the willingness to be completely undone.

Stay present and watch as the shell begins to crack.

The parts divide and fall away.

To some it would appear like complete destruction.

But experience assures us that this is the beginning of life.

But as inside begins to emerge.

Watch as this seedling uncurls as it grows.

The seedling still tucked beneath the surface reaches towards the conscious light.

Gradually growing.

Anchoring its roots as it stretches taller.

Witness the seedling drawing out from the shadow and into the light.

Into its fullest expression.

See your senkelpa in its full glory.

Its manifested form.

Watch how your senkelpa feeds your life at this moment.

Watch as it grows.

How your senkelpa has always been with you along every step of your journey.

Watch as the seedlings grow.

Watch as the seedlings grow.

Watch as the seedlings grow.

Watch as the seedlings grow.

Watch as the seedlings grow.

Senkelpa.

Senkelpa.

Senkelpa.

Out of the incredible vibrational field of pure potential.

Form your senkelpa into a thought.

One thought.

Only this thought.

Senkelpa.

Senkelpa.

Loudest and strongest thought at this moment.

Observe it deeply.

Now mentally repeat it three times.

Observe it being activated into your subconsciousness.

Your body into every cell of your being.

I am.

I am.

I am.

I am.

I am.

I am.

I am.

You You From this vast space of the unknown Since your own individual essence being formed once again Your own essence begins to take shape The familiar form of your own body begins to take shape You can once again feel your own breath Legs and head Receive information from immediate sensations Sounds in the room Temperature of the room Pressure of your clothing The taste inside of your mouth The different smells of the room Becoming fully embodied Feel into your wholeness Resting in harmony with the inner and outer worlds The yin and yang energies brought back closer into balance The right and left hemispheres of the brain synchronized The practice of yoga nidra is now complete Hari Om Tat Sat Hari Om Tat Hari Om Tat Hari Om Tat Hari Om Tat

Beautiful! This includes the most complete body scan I’ve ever done. The pace was perfect. Especially with the imagery and feelings. Strong emotion emerged and changed like a rapidly moving weather screen. Observing the sankalpa seed split and grow was amazing. I am happy.
