In this meditation,
We're going to explore what it is to tap into your core essence.
As a craniosacral therapist,
I often think that movement reflects health and how everybody moves is unique to them.
It's an expression of who you are at your core.
And to find that,
To come up with a specific feeling for your health is not only liberating,
But it can be a source of strength and guidance for you in the future.
In order to find your healthy core,
First find a meditation pose that feels comfy for you and begin to notice your breath.
Notice how your breath blends the external with your internal landscape.
Notice the quality of the patterns arising within.
What feels tight,
What feels loose,
What feels open,
What feels soft.
And when you're ready,
Think of a place that you like to visit or an activity where you feel most at ease.
When you have that activity or place in mind,
Focus on being there.
Take in the sights,
The smells,
Sounds,
And pay attention to how you feel.
And how you feel is strong,
Gently let the image of that activity or place fade and keep focusing on how you feel.
From how you feel,
Ask for a color,
A sound,
Maybe something in nature to emerge to symbolize how you feel.
Notice where in your body you feel that image most strongly.
What would it be like if it could expand?
What's possible here if you become your image?
