Heartfulness,
In essence,
Is doing things with your heart,
Intending things with your heart,
Discriminating things with your heart.
Anything and everything that you do,
Refer to your heart before you execute.
We all have great potential.
Unless and until this potential is made use of,
It's of no use.
It's of no value,
Actually.
Knowledge has to be actualized through experience.
As students,
When I was learning a few things like Archimedes' principles,
Or Pythagoras' theorem,
How do we actually use it in day-to-day practical life?
Until and unless that moment comes and we understand the practical application in day-to-day life,
Then we appreciate such experiments and theorems with greater interest.
Mathematics also,
Some students have phobia for mathematics.
Some have phobia for physics,
Some have for chemistry,
Some have for English.
Nevertheless,
All these phobias can be removed,
Tensions,
Anxiety.
Heartfulness meditation is actually a way of life.
It produces a guide to how you conduct your daily duties,
How we interact with the others.
Heartfulness is a global,
Universal.
The message is love.
It's not only a message,
It's a feeling.
It's cultivate that within a human being,
It is a platform to build us from inside out,
Become more loving,
More kind.
And that's what need in the Middle East,
So we can love each other,
And peace will come eventually.
Students worrying about the subject matters can be streamlined to actual experiential process.
Think for a moment when you have to make a decision and you have to answer it immediately.
When your boss asks for answers immediately,
What happens to you?
Versus if an opportunity is given to you,
Please maintain silence for some time,
Or have a moment of voice and then answer after reflecting.
My answer will be obvious that the answers given after some poise or pause will have a better value.
It will have better substance and it will be weighed out in the hearts,
Silence.
We teach this to students right from a very early age to reflect,
To look within,
And become more aware of the situation or a problem.
It is this awareness that brings about revolution in life.
It makes life easier because we are able to tackle problems before it becomes a real issue for us.
Exams anxiety,
Exams stress.
How to curb it?
Once the anxiety and stress begins,
It's difficult to remove it.
Our emphasis is how not to create stress and anxiety in the very first place.
All these fundas or fundamental principles,
Value-based life,
Are somehow experientially made available to these younger minds.
Artfulness has really contributed a lot to my success,
Contributed to me becoming or being what I am right now,
Because there are so many things that you can learn from artfulness.
When you have love and peace of mind,
That is a result of artfulness.
When you have that,
You are able to concentrate on work,
You are able to make decisions,
The right decisions,
You are able to save time,
And all that has made me to succeed in everything that I do.
This heartfulness way of meditation guarantees that within less than 30 minutes,
You will enjoy this shift in consciousness.
It is only through this shift in consciousness,
We will be able to create an agrigor of human beings resonating at such a wavelength,
Such resonance,
Full of peace,
Empathy for each other,
Love for each other,
Affection towards each other.
The world will be wonderful.
The agrigor of such individuals will somehow create a different external,
As well as internal,
Environment.
World peace becomes a child's play then.
The only key to this is interest in meditation.
If people have that,
You can achieve it.
Younger minds can be trained not just to focus mind,
But to focus mind in such a way that they also become God-loving.
When I had to ask you a question,
What is your name?
You immediately give me the answer,
My name is so-and-so.
But if you have to give me a wrong name,
You'll have to think,
And then come up with a name.
And what happens at that time to your heart?
It starts pumping faster and becomes heavier.
If you have to lie to your mother,
What happens to your heart at that time?
Though you may have told a lie,
For whatever reason,
Your heart will always reflect that heaviness.
It will undergo some sort of tension.
But when you have to simply say the right thing,
Mommy,
I went to this place,
There's nothing wrong with it.
When you have to say your name correctly to someone while introducing,
Nothing wrong with it,
The answer just comes like that.
And there is no repercussions.
When we have to solve some problems in life,
Then we refer to the heart most of the time.
But before that,
The mind has already chosen something,
Something pleasant,
Something very easier,
Something that would not take much efforts.
Mind always looks towards to comfy or comfortable situations.
Heart is not worried about all these things.
Heart is always looking for what is right at the moment.
So when the conflict arises,
It is because mind wants to do something and heart wants to do something else.
Always follow the heart.
When we have unnatural things,
For example,
When I'm not able to see things properly,
My heart gets a signal,
Something is wrong with you.
It's time to visit a doctor.
When my ears are not listening,
Receiving messages properly,
Then I have to worry about it.
But when I'm able to see properly,
When I'm able to hear properly,
My heart doesn't give me any signal.
Precisely when something was wrong,
When things become unnatural,
When there is asatya,
Untruthfulness,
Heart speaks louder.
Whenever there is a conflict,
It is because of this mismatch between heart and mind.
So always follow the heart.
There is nothing very special about how to make a decision.
Everyone knows this.
You need courage to follow the heart.
Heartfulness completely transformed my life.
Like I'm living a life in a heartfulness way.
In every single aspect in my life,
I take it in a heartfulness way.
Like everything I do,
I do it from the heart.
I meditate.
Whenever I'm doing anything,
I do it in heartfulness meditation.
This is everything.
This is fixing your goal inside.
Master,
Guru,
Whatever,
Ultimate,
Everything is within.
So this is,
For me,
Is the goal.
Imagine for a moment,
Mind as one end of the spectrum of consciousness.
And heart is another extreme of the same spectrum,
Actually.
So when you talk of deeper thoughts that arise in your mind,
And they're so deep,
It feels as if it is touching your heart,
It almost becomes a feeling.
Sometimes you can be just too superficial with your heart's feelings.
It is almost like a thought.
So it has its own spectrum.
So mindfulness is one extreme of it.
Heartfulness is another extreme of it.
Rather,
I would like to think heartfulness to be inclusive of mindfulness.
Mindfulness is where you are mentally aware.
You try to remain mentally aware of things around you,
Within you,
With your,
All kinds of things.
Heartfulness,
Too,
Is part of this mental awareness,
Mental regulation,
Empathy.
Anything and everything that we do in the emotional world,
It refers to heart.
Here,
This system was,
When it was established officially,
To run an organization in 1945.
Then it was known as Sri Ramachandra Mission.
Even now,
It is Sri Ramachandra Mission.
But I feel that it should have a nickname.
I like it to be recognized by this name,
Because it is all about heart.
The whole practice that they have on meditation is all about heart,
That you fill with your heart.
Though meditation generally will begin with an idea of divine principle,
But thought has to be graduated or transcended to a feeling,
A feeling of the object you are meditating upon.
So it should no longer remain a form or imagination.
I must be able to perceive that in my heart as a feeling,
Rather than just a thought.
India is a master of many good things.
One great thing that I have learned in our land,
That whatsoever we do,
As a consequence,
Karma theory.
The fruit of our actions,
Let us see if they are favorable.
I become happy.
If they're not favorable,
I'm unhappy.
Now,
Fruit of our actions,
Whatever they be,
They are depending on the action itself.
If I had done a wrong sort of approach,
If I had done action,
Then it would be a different reason,
Not satisfying to my heart.
And this action depends upon how well I have planned.
It is a mind that has not planned properly,
Remains anxious for the reasons.
But the person who has planned properly,
He's not anxious.
He's confident.
The preparedness is required.
And before that,
How would you come to rightful planning without rightful thinking?
And rightful thinking will come only when you have rightful ideation or ideas or intentions.
So you go back to intentions again.
Simple thing,
I like to remain pure and simple.
When this is my goal,
I will not do any wrong thing.
I will not try to have shortcuts.
I will do whatever I have to do to make the project successful without creating complexity for the organization.
Because I can't tolerate personally complexity.
It's a burden to the meditative mind.
I rely on my inner guide,
And that is what he referred to.
We cultivate that inner guide,
Inner master.
Daji is our living master who is awakening our inner master.
Tell us of how to react or respond in a better word to anything come across us or come from us.
That is beautiful.
Generally,
I meditate with an idea of greater presence in my heart.
Greater presence of,
I can generally think,
Godly presence in my heart.
Or there's so much of peace or voice or love in my heart,
And I just sit and meditate like that.
That's all.
Later on,
When I'm in depth of meditation,
And when I come out of it,
Either at that time or during meditation,
Some great ideas would emerge also.
It's not that you remain thoughtless during meditation.
Some thoughts will definitely come.
Though you are trying to regulate your mind and say,
Oh,
I'm going to meditate on the presence of divinity in my body.
Despite of all that,
Other thoughts will come,
And that is OK.
Suppose you are launching a new project.
The idea will come.
Now,
When the idea of launching a new project comes to your mind,
There will be many other pros and cons developing in your mind.
Now you're walking through a virtual path of the project,
Which you had not seen earlier.
When you are seeing virtually the project unfolding in front of you,
You are able to see,
First of all,
What can go wrong,
For whom I should not be including as my team.
Not out of enmity,
But he's not the right person for that.
So you will choose the right people,
Right process,
Right timing,
Right place,
Right protocol.
You are able to eliminate what is not suitable for the project.
Meditation somehow erases these things.
But that's not the main purpose,
As I said.
The main purpose is something else.
The other side,
Effects,
Which can be beneficial.
