Please make yourself comfortable as I cleanse the area with some sage,
Creating a neutral space for you to process and experience whatever it is that may surface within you on this journey.
We will be taking our time to just listen to the sounds we hear while we allow our body and mind to quiet down.
This will give you the chance to simply relax for a little bit.
We will begin by taking some gentle breaths in and out together as we ease into this experience.
Breathe in deep through your nose.
Pause for a moment.
Now a deep exhale through your mouth.
Feel your gut move in towards your spine as you release your breath.
Breathe in deep through your nose.
Pause for a moment.
Now a deep exhale through your mouth.
One more deep breath in through your nose.
Pause for a moment.
And a deep exhale through your mouth.
Notice how relaxed your body has already become.
More at peace and at ease.
Comfortable and open to experience.
Let's quiet our mind a bit and allow the sound to move through us by listening.
Bring your awareness to the waves of the rain stick.
Feel where these sounds travel through your body.
Observe the sound as you listen.
What are you feeling while you do so?
When your mind is calm and quiet,
You can fully observe the sensations you experience in the stillness.
This is your quiet time.
There's no one you have to talk to.
Simply listen and be present with the sounds.
Let's take a few more gentle breaths in together.
These breaths will be softer than before as we are already relaxed.
Gentle breath in.
Hold for a moment.
And gentle breath out.
Gentle breath in.
Hold it for a moment.
And a gentle breath out.
Now just bathe in the stillness for a moment.
Feel the sounds move through you.
When we truly listen,
We give our mind a moment to stop talking.
We allow the sound waves to flow through us,
Unhindered by the constant chatter of thoughts,
Processing everything.
This is your quiet time,
And the time you reserve for yourself enriches your time with others.
Because when you are at peace,
Your interactions in life naturally become more peaceful.
Simply observe the feelings that surface while you listen.
Feel them in their entirety.
When we listen and feel,
Our mind has a chance to slow down,
To become more quiet and relaxed.
This is your quiet time,
And the time you reserve for yourself enriches your time with others.
Gentle breathing keeps us centered,
Keeps us present,
And aware of our feelings and emotions.
That is why breathing through these practices are so important for us.
We will take some more gentle breaths into these calming vibrations as we continue to enjoy our moments of relaxation.

When your thoughts have the chance to slow down,
You can have the opportunity to feel what is happening to you,
Where you experience discomfort,
Restlessness or stress.
And a quiet mind can open up the doors for profound healing for all of it.
