Welcome to our eucalyptus guided meditation to help relieve congestion.
In this session,
We will be using eucalyptus oil or the natural plant to help relieve us of whatever congestion we may be experiencing during this time.
I invite you to sit comfortably in an upright position,
Either in a chair or cross-legged.
Being elevated and sitting up allows for the flow of our internal fluid to move without restriction.
We will first begin by taking three deep inhales through either your mouth or your nose.
If your congestion makes it hard to breathe,
Use the method with the least resistance.
Now place a couple drops of the eucalyptus oil into the palm of your hands or bring the raw plant close to your face as we take these deep breaths in.
Deep breath in,
Inhaling the vapors of this beautiful plant.
Hold and release either through your mouth or your nose,
Whichever is easiest for you.
Deep breath in,
Inhaling the vapors.
Hold and release.
And one more deep breath in.
Hold and release.
Now that we have some fresh oxygen with this respiratory cleanser eucalyptus flowing through our system,
Let's clear out some of our congestion.
First,
We will extend our neck upward as if you were looking up to the sky.
Feel the stretch within your neck and observe the resistance in your throat as you breathe into the stretch.
Hold your neck in this extended position for just a few more moments as our lymphatic fluids become compressed,
Allowing for movement.
Now bring your head back down to a comfortable position.
You may relax your neck and just observe the movement in your throat.
Now we will extend our neck again,
Looking up into the sky.
Feel the stretch from your chin to your clavicle.
Make sure to breathe into the stretch.
Feel the stretch as your neck is extended,
Creating space throughout your throat.
Now bring your head back to a comfortable position.
We will now turn our head to the right.
Tilt your head backwards just a bit,
Allowing you to feel the tension and pull on the left side of your throat.
Now find the corner of your left jaw and slowly but softly compress the tissue and muscle right beneath your jawbone with your fingers,
Pressing your tissue like a button,
Compressing each part of your neck as you work your way down to your clavicle,
The protruding bone at the bottom of your neck.
Each compression stimulates our lymphatic fluid,
Which can help with the movement of our congestion.
After you reach your clavicle,
Repeat the process from top to bottom a few more times as you breathe into the stretch.
If you find that your neck feels tight,
Compress the tight areas a little bit more to help soften the tissue,
Thus increasing the movement of your fluid.
Let's switch sides.
We will now turn our head to the left and tilt your head backward just a bit,
Allowing you to feel the tension and pull on the right side of your throat.
Now find the corner of your right jaw and slowly but softly compress the tissue and muscle right beneath your jawbone with your fingers,
Pressing your tissue like a button,
Compressing each part of your neck as you work your way down to your clavicle.
Each compression stimulates our lymphatic fluid,
Which can help with the movement and clearing of our congestion.
After you reach your clavicle,
Repeat the process from top to bottom a few more times as you breathe into the stretch.
If you find your neck feels very tight,
Compress the tight areas a little bit more to help soften the tissue,
Thus increasing the movement of your fluid,
Compressing from top to bottom.
Now turn your head straight again,
Back to a comfortable position,
And let's take three more deep breaths and observe any changes we may have experienced.
We will again be taking three deep inhales through either your mouth or your nose.
If your congestion still makes it hard to breathe,
Use the method with the least resistance.
Now place a couple drops of the eucalyptus oil into the palm of your hands or bring the raw plant close to your face as we take these deep breaths in.
Deep breath in,
Inhaling the vapors.
Hold and release.
Deep breath in,
Inhaling the vapors.
Hold and release.
Deep breath in,
Inhaling the vapors.
Hold and release.
Now observe how has your breathing changed since we've begun?
Have you noticed any difference?
Simply observe the subtle changes as they take place.
We will now place one index finger on each side of your nostrils.
Apply soft pressure and pull your tissue outwardly towards your sides,
Causing your nostrils to expand laterally.
Stretching our nostrils outwardly allows the pressure to decrease in our nose,
Enabling internal fluid to move more freely and break up whatever congestion we may be experiencing.
Now take some deep inhales through your nose with your fingers in place.
Take a few more big inhales through your nose with the help of your index fingers on each nostril creating space.
Observe how the oxygen moves in freely with the assistance of your fingers.
Now we will conclude our session with some gentle tapping in the area between our eyebrows.
Just a few soft taps in the center of your forehead with your index finger for just a few moments to stimulate the last flow of lymphatic fluid through your nose.
The gentle tapping helps to decrease your tension.
Gentle tapping.
You may take another deep breath as you tap this pressure point and stimulate the movement.
Each of these movements were designed to help stimulate your lymphatic fluid.
You may repeat these steps on your own with eucalyptus at any time to decrease the congestion in your throat and head.
Each of these movements and stimulations allow our lymphatic fluid to drain properly and open up our airways for a smooth and clear breathing.
Thank you for joining us and we hope your congestion has cleared up a bit.
