Hello and welcome to a guided meditation for people who stutter.

In this session,

I will guide you through a process of healing your inner child through regression.

To heal your unresolved memories,

You will revisit your past as an observer from a position of calm,

Clarity,

And compassion.

A child experiences trauma through the lenses of powerlessness and codependency to their parents as well as the social situation they are put in.

As an adult,

You are not here to change the past.

You are here to help your inner child to see the event exactly for what it was.

From the position of inner confidence and independency from external forces.

I will help you to let go of the meaning you've assigned to this event as a child and dissolve the subconscious behaviors that were developed as the result of that memory.

Let's begin.

I want you to settle down in a comfortable,

Relaxed environment.

Turn your phone to silent.

Dim the lights and put on your headphones.

You can be sitting down or lying down.

Make sure you are comfortable.

Slowly close your eyes.

Leave the outside,

Outside.

Take a few deep breaths.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

I want you to notice your body.

How does it feel?

Do you feel any pain or discomfort?

Let your body naturally shift to get into a more comfortable position.

I want you to notice the energy around your stomach,

Your chest,

Your throat,

And your head.

Do you feel any tension and resistance?

Anything that can be improved by physically moving?

If yes,

I want you to zoom into it.

Give it significance.

Give it space to exist.

Be there with it.

Your body should feel lighter and more relaxed now.

I want you to shift your attention to your mental space.

Any thoughts?

Any visual imagery?

Whatever thoughts or visuals,

I want you to zoom into it.

Give it significance.

Give it space to exist.

Be there with it.

Whatever you think and see has the right to express itself.

Keep breathing.

Your mind should feel calmer now.

Now,

I want you to let your mind wander.

Your mind will naturally recall memories.

Let these visuals and sounds guide you.

I want you to recall an experience you had as a child.

Perhaps the first time you stuttered.

Perhaps the first time you felt intense emotion when you stuttered.

Perhaps it is an early memory that stands out to you.

Whatever sound or flashes of images appear,

Just notice.

Let the memory reveal to you on its own.

Now,

Enter that memory.

Imagine that you are standing right next to your own younger self.

I am standing right here next to you.

What do you see?

What can you hear?

Who are the people around you?

What are they saying?

How is your younger self feeling?

Now I want you to pause the event.

Bring your awareness to your younger self.

Look at your younger self.

Tell your younger self you are safe.

You are not powerless.

You are not alone.

I am right here with you.

We will go through this together.

You can depend on me.

Now unpause the event.

Enter your younger self.

Become the inner child that is experiencing this right now.

I am still here standing right next to you.

How does it feel like now?

How are you seeing the situation now?

How do you perceive the people around you now?

Just know that you are allowed to feel however you are feeling.

You are allowed to react or not to react however feels right to you.

So how you react now to this event you are experiencing?

Very good.

Now gently come out of your younger self back to your adult self.

Embrace your younger self.

Let your younger self know that you are always here whenever it is needed.

We will stay here for a while.

Now gently come back to the present moment.

How do you feel now?

Your inner child now has someone to rely on.

Unconditionally.

Without judgment.

Without expectations.

Your inner child now has someone looking out for its best interest.

You no longer need to speak and act a certain way to meet somebody else needs.

From now on,

You can revisit any unresolved memories in your past.

You only need to be there fully present and help your inner child see the event for what it really was.

You should experience a lighter feeling now.

Like a rope being untied.

Regression helps you to dissolve any lingering fear and influences past trauma has on you.

We are approaching the end of the meditation.

You can keep your eyes closed and keep going with the meditation.

Or you can come out and continue with your day.

Come out now.
