Welcome beautiful souls to this menstrual meditation honouring your cycle.
Before we begin let's take a moment to acknowledge yourself for pausing,
For showing up in this tender space and for choosing to connect with your body,
Your wound and the sacred wisdom that lies within you.
Menstruation is not something to push through or ignore,
It's an ancient rhythm,
A natural release,
A deep invitation to come home to yourself.
This meditation is a gentle reminder that you are not broken,
You are not too much,
You are a cycle and your power lives in that rhythm.
Now let's begin.
Find a comfortable quiet space where you can sit or lie down and let your body soften.
Closing your eyes and begin to connect with your breath.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose,
Hold it gently and exhale through your mouth with a big sigh and let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw relax and let your womb begin to feel held.
Now breathe in and breathe out.
There's nowhere else to be but here and as you continue breathing gently,
Begin to bring your awareness to your wound space.
Place your hands there and feel the warmth of your palms resting on your lower belly.
Feel your breath move through this space slowly and tenderly.
This is a sacred time,
A time of deep release,
A time of renewal,
A time to let go of what no longer serves you physically,
Emotionally and energetically.
And as you breathe repeat these affirmation silently or out loud.
I honour the wisdom of my body.
I allow myself to rest,
Receive and release.
My cycle is sacred.
My body is powerful.
It is safe for me to slow down and tune in.
I trust my natural rhythm.
And let any discomfort soften with each breath and imagine a soft healing light,
Warm and rose-coloured gathering in your womb.
Let it soothe,
Ease and nourish you.
This is your time to simply be.
Now stay here for a few breaths,
Allowing your body to guide you.
You may want to gently sway,
Hum or simply lie in stillness.
And when you're ready,
Slowly bring your awareness back to the room.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and take a final deep breath and whisper to yourself.
Thank you body.
Thank you cycle.
I am whole.
Love and light beautiful souls.
