Welcome to your energy clearing breathing practice.
This is a quick tool to help you clear and shift your energy.
Find a comfortable space to lie down,
Though if that's not accessible,
You can do this practice seated.
And just take a moment to arrive here,
Beginning to bring awareness to the natural rhythm of your breath without needing to change or fix it in any way,
Just noticing.
Beginning to bring that awareness to the body,
Noticing maybe there are sensations,
Maybe there aren't.
Just bringing attention.
And I'll demonstrate the clearing breath for you now,
Which is a deep inhale through the nose and a shorter relaxed exhale out of the mouth.
So it sounds a little bit like this.
And so it's a shorter exhale with a longer,
Fuller inhale.
So we'll do three rounds of this breath with some retention or holds in between those rounds.
So starting our first round now,
We'll take 20 of those clearing breaths.
Continuing on your own,
Counting up to about 20 breaths.
Those inhales are through the nose.
The shorter exhales are out of the mouth.
And on your last exhale,
Hold at the bottom.
And we're going to hold for as long as feels comfortable for you.
Really feeling and noticing what it feels like to be completely emptied out.
And when you feel ready,
Returning the breath to its natural state.
And then taking our second round,
Inviting in those 20 clearing breaths.
Continuing that breath on your own,
Counting up to 20.
With each inhale,
Taking in nourishment and with each exhale,
Clearing out what you no longer need.
And when you get to the end of those 20 breaths,
On the last exhale,
Holding at the bottom for as long as feels comfortable for you.
Noticing any sensations in your body right now.
And returning to natural breathing,
We'll take our last round of 20 clearing breaths.
Beginning that breathing pattern.
Breathing on your own,
Really filling yourself up,
Really clearing out on the exhales.
And on that last exhale,
Holding at the bottom.
Feeling deep into your being.
Deep into your heart center.
Really cleared out.
And when you're ready,
Returning the breath to its natural rhythm.
Final inhales and exhales.
And I'll invite you to bring awareness back into the body.
Just noticing how your body feels,
How your emotions feel now compared to a few minutes ago.
And placing one hand on your heart.
Take it deep.
Inhale through the nose.
And open your mouth.
Exhale.
If you're lying down,
Rolling over to one side,
And gently bringing yourself up whenever you're ready.
