Hello and welcome to this meditation about accepting,

Releasing and letting go.

The important premise to start this meditation is that with all our good days and with all our bad days,

When nothing has really been any different outside of us.

So that's really important.

That reminds us that happiness,

Or feeling better,

Is a choice.

And sometimes we don't realise the choices that we're making.

So with this meditation,

I want you to close your eyes,

Find somewhere relaxing,

Preferably sat up,

If you prefer lying down that's fine.

But we want to be as aware as we can during this meditation.

So once you're comfortable,

I want you to sit and really assess how you are feeling.

And feel it from an observation point of view,

Like you are looking in,

With no judgement and not getting involved with any emotion around it.

You want to become the observer.

The observer of how you're feeling.

The observer of what you're thinking.

Because when you observe,

You are causing a separation.

Then this thought,

Feeling,

Emotion,

Loses its power and it starts to dissipate.

So really settle in and acknowledge how you are feeling from an observing point of view.

And gently ask yourself the question,

Could I let this go?

There's no pressure to let it go.

No pressure at all.

But could I let this go?

You're not asking you,

You're asking the feeling.

Could I let this go?

Would I let this go?

When will I let this go?

Again,

No pressure.

Just giving yourself the freedom to hold on to this thought or let it go.

Observe what you're thinking,

What you're feeling.

From an external point of view,

From a non-judgment point of view.

The more clear the separation,

The cleaner the energy release.

You are not fighting anything.

You are not pushing anything away.

You are not even trying to get rid of it.

I just want you to observe what you're thinking.

Observe what you're feeling.

What you'll find is a sense of peace.

Maybe even a little smile.

When you start to realise that it's been a choice all along.

That you can let it go.

Not by forcing you,

Pushing you.

Just by observing you,

Acknowledging you.

And as it dissipates,

You'll feel more peace.

If it's still there,

That's absolutely fine.

We're not trying to get rid of anything.

We're just having the freedom of observing what we're feeling.

Observing what we're noticing.

Then ask yourself,

Could I let this go?

Could I let this go?

If the answer is no,

That's fine.

There's power in the goal.

Because you're acknowledging that you choose to turn it on to it.

And that is powerful.

Could I let this go?

Would I let this go?

When will I let this go?

If you feel some peace,

Enjoy it.

Feel it.

Observe it.

If some of the feeling is still there,

We'll do the rounds again.

Other thoughts might have popped into your head.

That's fine too.

Just observe.

And ask yourself,

Can I let this go?

Knowing that it's a choice.

With no pressure to let go.

But could I let this go?

Would I let this go?

If your mind's saying no,

That's absolutely fine.

Then it is a choice.

You've got the power,

The feeling to hold on to anything you want to.

Give yourself the power to hold on.

But also give yourself the option to let go.

These things that you may want to hold on to,

Resentment,

Anger,

Blame,

Are all totally valid.

But who really wins?

If you're feeling those emotions,

Do you think the other people feel them?

Do you think they're affected by them?

Do you think you're really winning by holding on to any emotion that doesn't serve you?

Do you really win when you let them go?

When you let go of those hot coals you've been holding on to,

Burning your hands,

And no one else's?

So with that acknowledgement,

You're freeing realisation that you win by letting go.

Not that it's a competition.

You win because you feel better.

You feel more peace.

You just don't care.

So any emotion that you feel is wanted,

Observe it.

Say,

Could I let this go?

Welcome it.

Could I let this go?

Would I let this go?

Maybe the answer is no.

Give yourself permission to hold on.

If the answer is yes,

You would like to let it go.

Then the question is,

When?

Why not now?

Again,

No pressure.

These are just idle thoughts.

Observe what you're thinking.

Observe the peace.

Observe the stillness.

Feel your connection.

Smile at the realisation you had the power all in one.

The power to let anything go.

Not by pushing it,

Not by pulling it,

Not by forcing it,

Not by just observing it,

Giving yourself the permission to hold on to it,

But also asking if you could let go.

Could I let any remaining feeling that I'm observing go?

Could I welcome any remaining feeling with no judgement?

It just is.

The power of observation,

Of the separation,

Is beyond words.

It really is the key to living a happy,

Healthy,

Successful,

Well life.

By observing,

Giving it permission to be released,

Also giving yourself permission to hold on,

Gives you the power,

But importantly the freedom to let go.

Not by trying,

By observing,

By welcoming,

By accepting the feeling,

And giving yourself the chance to let it go.

By asking questions.

Could I let this go?

Or would I let this go?

And then when?

You are beyond powerful.

You have everything you need for the power of observation.

Everything you let go frees you up to live more,

Laugh more,

Be free more,

Play more,

Be excited on this life's journey.

Repeat this meditation whenever you feel it's necessary,

But in time you'll know what to do.

You'll be able to do it with your eyes open.

Observe the feeling.

With no judgement.

Like externally looking in.

Welcome it.

Feel it.

If you fight it,

It just gets bigger and pinker.

Accept it and give yourself permission to hold on.

But in that asking and choosing to hold on,

You're also giving yourself the feeling subconsciously to let it go.

I wish you a fantastic day.

Wiggle your fingers,

Toes,

Get yourself bright and ready for this amazing day or night that lies ahead.
