My name is Hayley and welcome to your meditation.

Get yourself comfortable,

Any shape,

Any position,

Really anything that feels like home in your body.

Let yourself settle in and relax and take a big sigh.

Let out a big exhale.

Let the edges of all of your pieces soften.

Gift yourself some inner space,

Taking your place in that private part of you that is purely yours.

The place where you can be with yourself for yourself.

Gather yourself in,

Call in all of your energies and welcome in all of your aliveness,

The rich tapestry of you.

You don't need to block anything or any part of yourself.

All of you is welcome here.

Feel the energy of your body connecting to the energy of the earth and the energy of the earth yielding to the energy of your body.

These energies already know and recognize each other.

Rest in this place for a few breaths supported by Mother Earth,

Riding the natural wave and rhythm of your breath.

Welcome your breath in and allow it to move fluidly like a river flowing through your body,

Feeling not just your lungs but flowing energy and life force right down into your belly,

Your pelvis,

Through your legs and your feet,

Into your toes.

Let it flow across your shoulders,

Feeling that space behind your heart and then rippling all the way down your arms and into your fingertips.

Feel the thrum of your own heartbeat,

Your own essence and rest here.

Let yourself restore here.

Breathe big and easy.

Today I remind you of your innate healing essence.

Your body's natural response to life is to heal.

It's like if you cut yourself,

It heals and we don't actually have to understand the how or the why of it.

It just happens for us.

Our bodies are doing this for us continually.

Actually our body doesn't know how not to do it and our mental health is the same.

Our body mind is always trying to keep us safe.

It can be easy to be hard on ourselves and our bodies,

To feel like they let us down or to focus on our perceived flaws.

I mean we experience pain and dysfunction,

Disease,

Anxiety,

Trauma responses that affect how we show up in the world.

There are so many things and of course we can feel let down by our body mind because none of this stuff is easy and a lot of it is outside of our control.

And our bodies,

They heal in their own time,

Not necessarily in the time or the way or the pattern that we expect them or want them to.

But what if we could shift the way we see this or even just the way we look at it,

Reminding ourselves that our bodies are indeed here for us.

Adapting,

Listening,

Healing.

Even our physical structure supports us as a receiver perceiver,

Feet to earth,

Head to cosmos.

Could our experiences perhaps be a part of a larger tapestry of healing,

Bigger than just us,

A greater matrix of healing for both our self and for the world.

I really don't know for sure but however your body mind is right now,

Even if it does feel like your body or your thought process is letting you down,

Not doing exactly what you want it to do,

Can you welcome yourself anyway just as you are in all of your flawed perfection?

Can you listen a little deeper?

Getting curious about how your body speaks to you.

Is it in words or color,

Feelings,

Is it pain,

Is it your senses in general?

Perhaps your body speaks to you in your dreams or from song lyrics,

Your favorite tune that runs through your head over and over.

Or perhaps it's a little bit of all of these things.

Simply practice listening,

Practice being curious and kind to your body mind,

Practice trusting your body's messages.

You're allowed to trust in your body and in yourself,

To trust in what is a greater mystery and intelligence that's woven into all of us.

And this great mystery is nature itself and we're a part of this.

There is no separation between us and nature.

We are nature.

So you can trust in your innate healing power because you're born with it.

Let yourself be guided by your instincts,

By your inner voice and you can use your instincts to decide how you heal,

Who helps you to heal because we all need help sometimes.

And this inner voice,

These instincts,

This innate intelligence within you will allow the unique framework of your wisdom to guide your healing journey.

Because there are so many paths to healing and yours is unique to you.

So give yourself permission to honor your individuality,

Your personal expression of life force moving through you and from you and for your healing journey to be uniquely yours.

Again,

Practice listening,

Really listening,

Allowing the receiver perceiver that is your body to guide you.

So when we do this,

The pathways of our healing expand even more so.

It can feel scary to trust this to start.

So remind yourself that it doesn't have to feel easy or perfect.

We are taught from a very young age now that our instincts are dangerous and then not to be trusted.

But this is simply unhelpful and it doesn't serve anyone.

The more you practice cultivating this trust in yourself,

The easier it will become.

And the more your instincts will guide you,

The messages getting stronger and stronger.

So take a deep breath here,

Perhaps let out another sigh and soften into this idea,

Surrender to it.

Trust in your body mind and its innate healing power.

Resettle yourself as you need to.

You can wiggle or fidget if that feels good.

And if you happen to be outside or by a window,

Perhaps even glance at the sky or at the trees.

Maybe place your hands on the earth and your fingers in some dirt.

And simply take yourself to a place of curiosity,

Of sensing.

What does your body say?

You may or may not get a clear message and at the end of the day,

It doesn't really matter.

What matters is that you are caring and curious.

As our body mind loves to be met with kindness,

With tenderness,

With a gentle heart and this act of care and curiosity and it's in itself healing.

And when we gift ourself this care,

Our body mind can heal in ways that our thinking mind can barely comprehend.

Trust in that kindness to yourself.

So let yourself breathe big to breathe easy and to surrender to that.

And I'll just leave you here for a little bit to rest in and receive the healing energies of your body.

To rest in and receive the healing energies of the earth.

To rest in and receive the healing energies of your breath moving and flowing in its natural rhythm.

To rest in and receive the healing energies of your space.

And to rest in and receive the healing energies of nature herself.

There's nothing you have to do.

Your body knows.

So you can rest here.

Ever so gently,

Ever so kindly.

Start to bring yourself back from wherever you were resting and whatever energies you were resting in and with.

Perhaps invite your breath to deepen a little.

To tenderly invite your senses back into your body.

Again maybe wiggle or move as you need to.

Get a sense of your body connected to the earth.

Notice once more that feeling of being grounded,

Safe and connected.

And as you are ready take yourself back to your day wherever and whenever that is.

Knowing that you're a powerful vehicle of healing for yourself and for others.

But most importantly you deserve your own love,

Care and attention.

You

An inspirational voice, Hayley. Deeply moved by the end and reconnected with my Self and needs. Calmed. Accepting of what I heard and able to observe the pulling away. Thank you 🌸
