In this breathing space, I will accompany you in interrupting your routines. All you need is an undisturbed space and 3 minutes of your time. This exercise is inspired by mindfulness-based traditions and is designed to support you in maintaining your meditation practice, even if you are short on time.

Transcript

This is a three-minute breath break.

Find a space where you can be undisturbed for the next three minutes.

Gently settle into an upright and slightly dignified posture.

If you feel comfortable,

Gently close your eyes or simply soften your gaze,

Allowing to rest gently on a single unmoving point in the room.

Rest your hands on your thighs or gently in your lap.

The break will begin and end with a soft sound of a cymbal.

Bring your attention to your breath.

There's no need to change or do with it.

Just observe.

Notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.

Feel the sensation of air entering and leaving your body.

Let your attention rest lightly on these sensations.

Each inhale brings a sense of fresh energy and presence.

Each exhale can be the opportunity to softly release tension.

Allow yourself to be fully present here and now.

To conclude the breath break,

Take three deep breaths.

Inhale fully and as you exhale,

Allow yourself to feel grounded and present.
