This "Maharishi Effect Guided Meditation” is an invitation to rest into presence and inner ease, remembering that personal coherence naturally ripples into the collective. Inspired by the Maharishi Effect, this practice emphasizes effortless settling rather than striving, allowing the mind and nervous system to quiet on their own. Through gentle guidance, you’ll reconnect with your center of calm and clarity while contributing to collective harmony simply by being present. This meditation reminds you that your inner state is already a powerful gift to the world. Love, Harrison.

Welcome beautiful hearts,

Back to another guided journey in meditation from my heart to yours.

Today's intention will be centered around the Maharishi effect,

Deep rest,

Shared coherence.

As you begin to drop in,

Get connected,

Get comfortable,

I'd like to share some understanding around this practice,

Around the Maharishi effect in general.

In the 1970s,

Researchers were studying large groups of meditators observing something that they had a feeling might be there but ended up being very unexpected.

When enough people enter a deep state of effortless,

Easeful meditation together,

Stress drops.

But not just stress in the individual and the meditators themselves,

But also in the surrounding population.

In the city,

The crime rates fell,

Violence decreased and the social magnetism and coherence was increased.

This phenomena has been known and has become known as the Maharishi effect.

So,

As you open more of your heart today,

Hold the intention of connecting into this work,

Into this frequency,

Knowing that you don't need to fix or go out and change the world with your actions and effort.

Sometimes what is needed,

Sometimes what is more impactful is a deeper inner journey,

A deeper inner radiation that moves outward from a nervous system that is regulated from a fully settled,

Fully coherent soul.

In other words,

Every time you enter your state of true rest,

You contribute to the collective regulation at large.

So,

Let us close our eyes and breathe into this,

Understanding this truth,

Breathing in and breathing out.

And beginning to close our eyes,

Beginning to settle into our body,

Beginning to remember that your heart is already full,

It's already enough.

And today we get to share it with the collective.

So,

With that,

We bring more of our attention and awareness inward.

Knowing that as we breathe,

As we continue to get comfortable and settle,

That you're not here to be perfect,

No need to control your breath in any particular way,

Just allow,

Allow your body,

Your being right now to be exactly as it is.

Notice where the body is already supported by your bed,

By your chair,

By your mat.

And allow yourself to drop deeper into that weight,

Into that feeling of being held by your vessel,

By the earth,

By the energy in the collective around you.

Let your beautiful eyes,

Your jaw,

Your tongue,

Your torso,

Your belly,

Your legs,

Let everything soften.

There's nothing to achieve right here,

Right now.

And as you flow forward with your breath,

The gentle ins,

The gentle outs,

Thoughts are allowed to be present.

And you are allowed to let them be.

In this Maharishi meditation,

You are not trying to stop thinking,

You are not trying to silence the mind.

What you are here to do is to connect to the awareness that naturally observes,

That naturally holds your thoughts and no longer has resistance to them.

Like beautiful ripples on water,

When the wind drops,

Your thoughts move,

Your thoughts arise,

And your thoughts pass.

You get to choose as the awareness,

As this Maharishi coherent consciousness,

Whether to engage,

Whether to react.

No story,

No meaning,

Just gradual movement,

As the space between the thoughts widen,

As the space between the thoughts widen.

Softening your attention even further,

Not focusing anymore even on your breath,

On any imagery,

On any emotion that may be moving,

Just simply resting.

Resting and aware,

Being this awareness that doesn't direct towards anything,

This awareness that you are already inhabiting.

It's beyond thinking,

Beyond feeling,

Beyond striving and doing,

And is already something you can activate at any moment because you are it,

So if your human mind wanders,

That's okay,

That's okay.

Return to your awareness,

Return naturally without effort,

Remembering that you are not meditating.

Meditation is happening through you.

Breathing this in,

Breathing out,

One more,

Breathing in,

One more.

We will now,

As this shared awareness,

This shared observer,

We will start to subtly notice our ability to be in coherence.

A state where you are not sending peace,

You are not radiating love,

You're not praying for expected outcomes in some distant future.

You are simply allowing your nervous system and the nervous system that your awareness is inextricably linked to to organize itself.

And when a system reaches coherence,

It influences everything it touches.

It influences everything it touches.

Your natural coherent order does not need instruction,

It expresses itself easefully,

Naturally,

Organically itself.

Your rest and your intention is enough.

So intuitively,

Without needing to visualize anything,

Connect into the fields of others.

The other coherent fields with us right now in this Maharishi effect.

Enter,

Connect to the same depth,

The same depth of rest.

Different places,

Different lives,

Different stories,

Different cultures,

Different timelines,

One field of stillness,

One field of group coherence.

Many nervous systems settling at once,

Many beautiful hearts dropping into quietness.

Connected not by effort but by shared regulation.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Regulating further.

Nothing to do,

Resting together.

Sitting in this state for a few more rounds of your natural breaths,

Intuitively continuing to connect to your collective consciousness,

Your collective heart,

Your collective coherent field.

Knowing that there is no distance,

There is no separation when you are on this level of rest,

On this level of coherence and consciousness.

So if the mind comes up to explain,

To story away what may or may not be happening,

Rest into trust,

Rest into a faith in how powerful your presence and your infinite connection is.

Breathing in and breathing out.

In our final moment here before integration and closing in this state of rest and coherence,

I invite you now to imagine and visualize someone that you love,

Someone that you care for,

That you wish to have this coherence,

This effect,

This collective intention and heart impact.

For whatever reason,

Invite them into your heart in this moment and know whatever it is that they will receive for their highest good and it is already done and they are already impacted.

Breathing in,

Beautiful.

Begin to gently notice your physical body,

The subtle aliveness in your hands,

Your feet,

Your face,

Your torso and really committing to carry this Maharishtha to the next level.

Coherent state with you as your baseline every time you rest deeply,

Knowing that you contribute to the world without even trying.

And as you return to the space and place in which you entered this meditation today,

Take the knowing that you never heal anything,

Especially the world outside,

The collective,

By struggle.

You heal by regulation,

You heal by settling,

You heal by a deep field that rests and knows what it always was.

So,

Opening your eyes and coming back into your room and your meditation sanctuary.
