Welcome beautiful beings back to another gift,

Another guided meditation from my heart to yours today's intention and focus will be fight flight and freeze a nervous system opening soothing and healing for when you are stuck in these states so as you get comfortable and take a moment to arrive i will remind you that you do not need to become peaceful or even healed to begin to be here with me all that is needed is your present moment awareness and the love in your heart that you have for yourself because if you're listening to this there is a likely big part of your nervous system that has been working over time trying so hard to protect you trying so hard to keep you safe trying to survive stuck in fight or flight or freeze feel these words as you close your eyes these are not flaws these are intelligent responses from your body that learned at some point that the world itself could be overwhelming today we are not here to push your system into becoming calm we're here to meet it we're here to understand it we're here to gently guide it back to safety so taking a big deep breath with me in through your nose and out through your mouth and letting your body settle even more in whatever way feels most supportive for you and i invite you to focus in specifically throughout this journey today on your exhale making it long making it soft making it more gentle as you feel my energy and my presence with you i invite you to allow it to help you to support your body letting your shoulders drop letting your jaw unclench unclench letting your brow soften reminding you that you are so loved and safe here with me as we start to let go of this fight flight or freeze state we will shift into phase one on this journey bring awareness deeper into your body notice what state feels most familiar right now for example do you feel activated like your system is bracing pushing or on the edge ready to react this is fight or do you feel restless scattered scattered unable to settle even here with me wanting to move scroll distract or lose yourself in an escape this is flight do you feel heavy numb distant shut down like you're here but not fully here this is freeze there is no correct answer just your awareness and noticing what is most present for you whichever state you sense imagine it as a protector inside of you not an enemy not something you need to fight against a protector a part of your nervous system and your vessel that learned to respond this way for a reason a part that developed intelligence in order to keep you safe in moments when safety itself felt uncertain i invite you now to bring gentle loving curiosity to this protector no judgment no persecution and with me repeating to this part of you thank you for keeping me safe thank you for how hard you've been working thank you but you do not have to work so hard right now thank you you can rest even if it's just for a moment and breathing in with me letting your body hear these words hear the ripples of them even if your mind doesn't fully believe it yet your nervous system understands tone and intention more than logic so stay here for a couple more breaths letting the protector know and feel your acknowledgement often when we allow a part of us to be seen fully it can begin to soften it can begin to release it can begin to let go moving into stage phase two two and it is here i wish and invite you to imagine a gentle warmth breeze movement of energy beginning in the form of a container around you coming out from your chest this container holds you holds the fire and the warmth that is you want you to see yourself as this warmth as a steady candle burning within a safe container fueled with its own source of energy fueled with its own source of air and sustenance and as you continue to breathe in and out imagine this warmth within your container spreading throughout the rest of your body the rest of your vessel into your shoulders softening the weight that they carry into your throat loosening what has been held back into your belly and hips easing the places of tightness in the parts of you that brace and down into your legs letting them know that they never to run from lack run from scarcity allowing this breath of warmth and safety to relax and to touch places that feel guarded from your fight flight or freeze letting this inner safety burn through you and taking all of this warmth in with me as we breathe together and breathe out letting go we shift now slowly into phase three our intention is to now release any stored energy that wishes to move if your system holds fight energy we will now imagine the intensity softening into the ground see yourself in a posture in a position standing strong like a warrior setting down their armor after a long day yet strength remains the tension the tightness the fight can leave feel your fists softening feel any part of your being your body your jaw your shoulders your chest your lower back start to release its guard we combine the fire that we felt moments ago with the intention to channel any intensity still stored in the body down into the earth feeling your breath guide anything that wishes to finally move on and with the warmth around you and in you use this warmth to carry anything that no longer serves down into the earth down into the ground and the mother that holds you breathing in and breathing out flowing this energy down breathing in and flowing this energy down beautiful we now enter the last phase phase four of our fight flight and freeze release and it is here i invite you to imagine your nervous system no matter where it is at no matter where it has moved from see this system as a landscape after a storm the winds have slowed the ground is settling the sky is beginning to open and clear and there may still be wreckage may still be clouds there may still be movement but notice what has shifted you do not need to be perfectly calm you only need to be a little more regulated a little more supported a little more connected so take this moment to feel your body as one whole beautiful system system learning safety a system learning to love itself and to hold itself so as you connect to this love this appreciation this new state of being i invite you to continue your regulated breath as you feel this closing prayer i share from my heart to yours and the energy behind it may the parts of you that learned to fight be honored by their strength and gently guided towards peace may the parts of you that learn to run discover that they no longer have to escape may the parts of you that learn to freeze feel the warmth return slowly and safely may your nervous system remember that safety is not a distant destination but something that can be rebuilt moment by moment breath by breath and may your body feel the permission to rest without fear to soften without danger to exist without bracing you were never broken and you were always adapting learning and healing your body your wise beautiful protective resilient body is learning that it can always come home taking a final breath as you feel these truths and when you're ready with ease and grace you can open your eyes and come back into this space as the regulated being you are always deserving to be
