This is a three minute mindfulness practice for everyone to use during this very busy ramp season.

So I hope that it helps to provide some calm and peace and clarity of mind as you move forward with this very,

Very busy time of year for us.

So please sit with your feet flat on the ground and your back nice and straight and slowly allow your eyes to close.

Begin by taking some nice,

Long,

Deep breaths.

Really notice what it feels like to have your lungs fill with air all the way to the top of the breath.

And then relax as much as you possibly can on the exhale,

Allowing the muscles from the face and the shoulders all the way down through your torso and your legs to just relax,

Letting go of any tension that might be present in your body.

And now allow your breath to resume its natural rhythm.

Just noticing the gentle inhale and exhale that happens all by itself,

Breath after breath.

And as you continue to mindfully breathe,

Pay attention to your body as well.

Pay attention to the emergence of any tension in your muscles.

Pay attention to any general tension that you might feel in your body.

A tense body is an indication of a tense mind.

So on each exhale,

Really focusing on releasing tension and relaxing the body because a relaxed body helps to facilitate a calm and relaxed mind.

And as you go through the busyness of this ramp season where tension has the opportunity to strengthen maybe each moment of the day,

Just this simple practice of following the breath,

Releasing tension in the body can help provide you with a clarity of mind that can help you to be more effective,

More efficient,

And have a higher degree of well-being so you can lead your teams and do your work most effectively.

Now allowing the eyes to open and doing your best to keep a little bit of attention on the breath and the body as you move forward with what's next.
