Hi,

My name is Simon and welcome to Happy Mind Meditations.

In this meditation we're going to be resetting and relaxing your entire nervous system so that you can come back into a more powerful state and you can use this at any time of the day that you feel like you need to recharge,

To come back into a more centered space and most importantly,

It's a practice to help you activate your parasympathetic nervous system,

Which is a more relaxed state of being,

Which is far more powerful for you if you're a creative person,

Which I know you are,

We all are.

And this practice will allow you to come back into a more relaxed,

Focused state of being.

So for this guided meditation,

I'm going to guide you through three different concepts that you can easily tap into through using your imagination and breathing.

Allow your mind to relax and just simply follow my guidance and we're going to be focusing for this meditation on the heart center.

You can place both palms over your heart center and we're going to just begin by focusing on breathing slow,

Deep breaths in,

Fill up your belly,

Fill up your chest and gently exhale.

Just gently focus purely on the sensation of breathing in and out through your heart.

So for the first practice,

We're going to simply focus on the idea of expansion.

And as you breathe in through the heart,

Simply focus as if you're breathing through the heart and on the exhale,

We're going to focus on the idea of expansion.

And you can imagine there is a light emanating from your heart and with each and every breath out,

It begins to expand outwards like a bubble growing further and further with every single breath.

And with each and every inhale,

You're nourishing that warm light inside of your heart.

And with each exhale,

You're expanding your heart center further and further out into the world.

And just imagine that feeling of freedom,

Of openness,

Focusing on your heart center,

Slow,

Deep breaths in through the heart.

Exhale,

Expanding that light further and further.

And continue to breathe slow,

Deep breaths in and out through your heart,

Just gently allowing that light from your heart to expand.

Feel the warmth and the openness and allow it to continue to grow with each and every breath.

And the second practice,

We're going to focus on letting go of all stress,

Worry,

Doubts,

Negativity,

Any weight that might be holding on physically in our body.

And on every exhale,

We're going to imagine it just falling off of our body.

So take a slow,

Deep breath in through the heart,

Just focusing on the heart center again and allowing any heaviness to just simply fall off.

And just like every exhale is a letting go,

We're going to allow these breaths to just let go of all the baggage we might be holding onto of stress,

Of worry,

Of guilt,

Of shame.

Just continue with these breaths,

Allowing yourself to let go.

And you might be holding onto tension in your body and just imagine what it's like on the exhale for that tension in your body to just simply move out of your body and melt away.

And the third practice,

As we continue to breathe deeply into our heart center,

On the exhale,

We're going to repeat the mantra and feel the mantra,

I am safe and protected in this moment right now.

And I want you just to sink into what it feels like to be present and to say that mantra,

I am safe and protected in this moment right now.

And just allow yourself to feel that emanating from your heart center.

I am safe and protected in this moment,

Right?

With each and every breath,

Allow yourself to sink into that state of being,

Of trust,

Of deep tender trust that you are safe in this moment right now.

And with each and every expansion of your heart,

You can feel through the mantra that you are indeed safe and protected in this moment right now.

All right,

Let's take one more last deep breath in together through the heart.

And just feel your whole entire body.

Ground yourself in this moment and notice how much more calm and centered you feel.

Now you're in a much more powerful,

Relaxed,

But energetic space to be able to go on with your day,

Feeling connected and inspired.
