Day 4 of our Heru New Moon Meditation series. Heru is the 6th sphere of the Paut Neteru (Tree of Life) of Ancient Kemet and represents the aspect within you that governs free will. Acting in alignment with your highest intention can be difficult when yourself stuck in negative emotions in response to a challenging situation. This meditation helps you to shift your perception to see the choice that you have to embrace challenges as an opportunity for evolution, rather than suffering.

Greetings and welcome to the fourth day of our Heru New Moon meditation series.

Today we will continue to explore this idea of having the freedom to choose that the ancient Kemetic principle of Heru supports us with.

If you have been following the series from day one you'll know that I am Helen Marie,

Founder of Happy Chrysalis.

So on the first day we explored how you can separate from the attachment that your ego has to your emotional drives,

Your desires,

To find the peace that gives you the free will to act in alignment with your highest intention at any given time.

On day two we explored how by accessing this peace you can channel your creativity with confidence rather than fear to bring about what doesn't exist.

This creativity being your divine right as an aspect of God consciousness.

On day three we saw how it was possible to free yourself from the emotional drives that are not aligned to your best interests.

This gives you true free will as you break the power that your emotions have over you.

Which brings us on to day four where we will deepen your understanding of the freedom that Heru supports.

To activate your free will and be able to overcome your emotional drives empowers you to act in alignment with your highest decision-making capability.

That's your intuition.

While that's all well and good in theory,

In practice it can be easy to cave in when the discomfort arises from not acting on your emotional drives.

That is how your emotions can keep you from your freedom.

For this reason today we will be shifting your perception of the discomfort that comes from resisting your emotional drives so that you can welcome this resistance with joy.

Yes you heard me correctly,

Welcome resistance with joy.

To do this I invite you to call to mind a challenging situation that you have overcome in the past.

When you were initially faced with the challenge you may not have had the capacity to deal with it finding yourself in some kind of despair.

However,

Since this was something that you did overcome in the end,

The challenge actually caused your capacity to evolve and grow.

This likely increased your self-esteem.

So in effect the challenge was a spark to your evolution.

This feeling of overcoming is what you will connect with in heart congruence today.

So let's begin.

I invite you to come into a comfortable seated position with your spine upright.

If you can,

Maintain a seated position rather than lying down to prevent you from falling asleep as we move into the deeper brainwave states.

Now if it is safe to do so,

I invite you to lightly close your eyes.

If it's not safe for you to do so,

Then I invite you to take your gaze lightly downwards,

Softening the gaze to draw your attention away from what's going on around you.

Now I invite you to take a deep cleansing breath in through your nose,

Expanding your lungs,

And then release the air out the mouth to relax your body.

And now we're going to connect into the breath even more deeply.

So this time I invite you to take another deep cleansing breath into your nose,

This time extending the inhale for a count of four.

Now releasing the air through your nose,

Extending the exhale for a count of four.

Now take another extended breath in through your nose,

This time expanding into the abdomen,

The chest,

And the lungs.

And release the exhale,

Still extending for a count of four,

Contracting in your abdomen and allowing your lungs to relax.

Take another deep breath in through the nose,

Extending the inhale for a count of four.

Now release the exhale,

Still extending the inhale for a count of four.

Take another deep breath in through the nose,

Extended for a count of four.

And then relax on the exhale through the nose,

Once again extending the breath for a count of four.

And now I invite you to relax your breathing to a pace that's comfortable for you.

You should find that your breath is slightly deeper than it is as you go through your day to day life.

Here with your eyes closed and your breath deepened,

You're signaling to your body that it can move into a relaxed state and out of the fight or flight response.

Just breathe at your own comfortable rhythm.

And now as we move into heart coherence,

I invite you to lightly place either your two fingers or your palm on the center of your chest.

In doing this,

We're moving your attention away from your thinking mind to your feeling center,

Which is your heart center,

The bridge between the physical and the physical.

And now as we move into heart coherence,

I invite you to lightly place either your two fingers or your palm on the center of your chest,

Which is your heart center,

The bridge between the physical world and your energetic body.

And now as I bring in the bowls,

I invite you to feel into the emotional state of gratitude on a daily basis without you even thinking.

As you connect into this feeling of gratitude,

I invite you to notice the energetic sensation that this feeling has inside your body.

Take your attention beyond the physical sensation of your hand connecting to your chest and start to notice the sense and vibration that's being emitted from your heart as you feel into this gratitude.

You might feel a light,

Unfamiliar sensation.

Breathe into this and relax into this,

Accepting whatever comes up for you with compassion.

As you connect into this feeling state,

Allow the energy to expand beyond your physical body,

Almost feeling like you're feeling a lot of pain.

As you connect into this feeling state,

Allow the energy to expand beyond your physical sensation,

Feeling like there's a light glow around your torso.

You almost feel like the physical boundaries of your body are merging with the energetic body.

Now,

As you started to notice how energy feels within your body,

I invite you to call to mind that situation that you were able to overcome.

Initially in your mind's eye,

Visualize yourself,

Finding yourself in this situation and the challenge that you initially felt.

Maybe you felt fearful,

Maybe you felt restricted.

Notice how the energy shifts within your body.

Again,

Approach any energetic sensation with acceptance and compassion,

Knowing that right now you were in a safe place.

I now invite you to call to mind the time when you felt that you were able to overcome this situation.

Notice how your energy shifts when you move into this state of overcoming.

You may feel that lightness return.

You may feel that expansion return.

You may also feel a sense of confidence,

Resourcefulness,

Self-esteem and pride.

Fully embody whichever feeling comes up for you,

Allowing your body to be immersed in the energetic sensation.

If you can,

Try dialing that energy up just a little,

Allowing it to expand even further from your heart into your energetic body.

And for the next few moments,

I'd like you to sit.

And for the next few moments,

I invite you to stay in this expanded vibrational state.

If you lose focus,

Just take your attention back to the breath,

Back to the connection between your heart and your hand,

And then back to the visualization of the time when you were able to overcome this situation.

I now invite you to slowly release this visualization and I'll count down from 10 to 1 to bring your attention back into the room.

Welcome back.

Start to bring some physical movement into your body,

Just allowing the energy to return once again.

You take a light stretch,

Wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Roll out your wrists,

Your ankles and your shoulders.

Hopefully you were able to connect into the empowering feeling that comes with expanding your capacity to deal with the resistance that comes from life's challenges.

By coming back to this feeling,

You can now see how a feeling of initial discomfort can be turned into empowerment.

And in fact,

The paradox is that the more discomfort you experience,

The greater the opportunity there is for your growth.

In this way,

With time and practice,

You are able to welcome challenging experiences and emotional resistance as opportunities for you to build,

Strengthen and deepen your connection to your highest intelligence,

That which we call your intuition.

I encourage you to take a few minutes after this recording to journal and reflect on what came up for you today to help you crystallize this idea of challenges being able to support your growth.

And as always,

I'll leave you with an affirmation to reflect on.

Today's affirmation is,
