Day 2 of our Heru New Moon Meditation week. Heru is the 6th sphere of the Paut Neteru (Tree of Life) of Ancient Kemet and represents the aspect of us that governs free will. To use our free will we have to feel safe and free to create, embody what makes us a unique reflection of God-consciousness. This meditation will help you understand any subconscious fear that you may have around creation, and then offer self-compassion and acceptance in its place to help you move forward

Greetings and welcome to our second meditation in the Heru New Moon five-day meditation series.

Today we will continue to deepen our understanding of the ancient Kometic principle of Heru,

Which invites us to activate our freedom to choose.

And just in case you've forgotten who I am,

I am Helen Marie,

Founder of Happy Christmas African Kometic Yoga and Intuition Activation.

So let's get into it.

So yesterday we learned that by distinguishing between our will and our emotions enables us to activate our free will since we are no longer governed by emotional impulses which can be misguided.

We found the stillness that always exists behind our emotions which enables us to choose our behavior to be in alignment with our best possible outcome rather than being drawn to one thing or the other by emotional balance.

So now that we have disentangled our will,

Let's look more closely at how we can act in alignment with our highest good.

There are many different spiritual traditions that take the same view that humans have a likeness to God but on a smaller scale.

What is that likeness to God that we have?

That's the power to create at will.

While other animals and plants are at the mercy of their instincts,

Humans can visualize across space and time what doesn't exist and bring it into being.

But at the same time we can resist the very power that we have to create for fear of losing what we already have.

This feeling can make creation,

Which is our natural instinct,

Feel unnatural and uncomfortable.

Today's meditation is designed to have you explore this feeling of stepping into what doesn't exist and creating from there,

Seeing what comes up for you on the brink of creation.

We will use a meditation that I refer to as the bird meditation.

I will take you into heart congruence just as we did yesterday but this time you will visualize yourself as a bird flying over the sea exploring what comes up for you.

I invite you to come up into a seated position with your spine upright and your back supported but making sure that there's no physical tension in your body.

Now you're invited to close your eyes if it's safe for you to do so.

If it's not safe for you to do so then I invite you to take your gaze downward softly just to draw your attention away from what's going on around you so that your body can move into a relaxed state.

Now we're going to take some deep cleansing breaths in through the nose and out through the nose.

On your next inhale I invite you to breathe deeply expanding into the abdomen and then exhaling contracting the abdomen as you do so.

Take another deep breath in this time extending your breath as it goes into the abdomen for a count of four and then slowly releasing the air from the abdomen extending the breath for a count of four.

Let's try that one more time so inhaling in through the nose into the abdomen extending the breath for a count of four and then exhaling through the nose contracting the abdomen but slowly releasing the air extending the breath for a count of four.

Now I invite you to relax your breathing and breathe at a pace that is comfortable for you attuned to your own natural rhythm.

You should find that your breath is flowing deeper and longer than it usually is in your day-to-day life.

With your eyes closed and your breath deepened you're now signaling to the body that you are safe and you can relax.

I now invite you to take two fingers or your hand to the centre of your chest to your heart centre.

Initially connecting to the physical sensation of your hand or your fingers touching your chest you may even feel your heartbeat.

And give thanks for everything that your heart does for you on a daily basis.

Its only mission is to keep you alive.

Now as I bring in the bowls I invite you to connect into the energy of your body.

Now as I bring in the bowls I invite you to connect into the energetic vibration of your heart.

This might feel like a light vibration around your upper body which as you connect more deeply to it and take your attention more deeply to it expands to fill the space around you.

So now that you're in this more expansive place I invite you to visualize yourself as a small bird sent into the feeling of your wings and your feet against the ground.

Visualize the colour of your feathers.

Now visualize yourself as this bird standing on the edge of a cliff.

As you look out into the distance you see the vast expansive ocean.

As you look down towards the bottom of the cliff you notice the waves crashing.

How does this feel?

So notice this feeling and have compassion and acceptance.

Finding yourself in a place of peace once again.

Now I invite you to look up to the sky and you're going to count down from three to one and take flight.

Three,

Two,

One.

Notice as you're up in the air what feelings come up to you here now that your feet are off the ground and you're flying.

Notice how the wind feels if it's smooth if it's rough if it feels supportive or if it feels like you're fighting against something.

Again sit with this feeling have compassion and find acceptance and find acceptance to connect to your peace.

For the next few minutes I invite you to stay connected to the feeling of flying.

Making note of your emotions as they come up for you.

Again whichever feelings come up have compassion have acceptance and find your peace.

So now visualize yourself coming closer to an island with a beach and as I count down from 10 to 1 you'll slowly prepare to land.

Ten,

Nine,

Eight,

Seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two and one.

Now when you're ready I invite you to release the visualization and open your eyes.

Take a light stretch wiggle your fingers and your toes just to bring some movement and energy back into your body.

Hopefully you were able to notice the feelings and sensations that came up for you as you were flying.

Birds can represent the process of creation because we step into the unknown to bring something new that doesn't exist into existence.

You can literally feel the feeling of not having solid ground beneath you as you bring into existence something that you feel deep in your heart needs to be in the world.

I encourage you to continually repeat this meditation anytime you're in a process of creation and find yourself feeling unsupported or ungrounded as you bring something new into existence.

This is a natural feeling but I invite you to know that this is your God-given right and your God-given purpose to bring to this world.

I invite you to take a few minutes after this meditation to journal about the emotions that came up for you and as we did in the meditation have compassion and have acceptance for anything that comes up.

I also leave you with an affirmation.

Having found stillness I can privilege the process of creation rather than be afraid of it.

So that's having found stillness I can privilege the process of creation rather than being afraid of it.

Once you've taken a few moments to journal and reflect for yourself why not pop over to our Facebook group to reflect on this meditation journey with others.

Our Facebook group is called Intuitively Activated so just search that and then I'll add you.

So we'll be back tomorrow for another meditation in this Heru New Moon meditation.

Thank you very much for taking the time to honor your meditation journey.

You you
