Let's reset our nervous system together before a big call,

A hard conversation,

Or a challenging phone call that you know you have to hop on quite soon.

It'll be fast.

I promise.

Welcome to Here by HMT,

Where we find reasons why right here is the best place to be.

My name is Hannah Marie Todd.

My pronouns are she,

Her.

Let's get into it.

If you can,

My friend,

Close down your eyes,

Otherwise bring your eyes to a soft,

Subtle gaze.

Let's take a deep inhale breath through your nose.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Let that go.

Another deep inhale breath here,

My friend.

Inhale.

Fill up from the bottom of your belly this time.

Fill up.

Expand through your chest.

Inhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Let that shit go.

Make a sound if you can.

You feel comfortable.

Last,

Biggest,

Deepest one here.

Inhale from the bottoms of your feet.

Up your legs,

Your torso.

Inhale.

Inhale.

Hold at the top.

Inhale 5% more.

Hold.

Stay with this.

Hold.

Now,

Can you clench your whole body,

Your entire being?

Maybe even make fists with your hands if that feels comfortable.

Curl your toes.

Tighten every muscle in your body,

In your being,

In your face,

In your neck,

In your arms,

In your belly,

In your butt,

In your legs.

Just hold.

Squeeze.

Hold.

When you're ready,

Exhale.

Let everything go.

Now notice,

When we stop our clenching,

When we cease our gripping,

We create space.

We create an openness for new opportunity,

For new energy to come in here.

When we always assume,

When we always predict what's coming next,

It doesn't allow the exploration and the adventure of life to simply flow in.

And so my friend,

What you did just now,

Right here,

Is you created even just the tiniest ounce of space for a new idea,

For a new possibility to let go of that anxiousness,

That anxiety,

That gripping onto the idea of what you think will happen.

In order to create space for what can.

Because let me tell you,

My friend,

There is a big,

Beautiful world out there.

One that our brains cannot even fathom.

And our brain is just here to keep us safe.

Thank you,

Brain.

Thank you.

Thank you for doing your job.

But in this moment right here,

You're not serving me.

Because you're trying to warn me of danger.

And I am okay.

I am safe.

You are safe in this moment,

My friend.

Right here,

Right now.

I promise you,

If you are listening to this,

You are safe.

Breathe into that knowing,

That feeling.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Another deep inhale breath here,

My friend.

Inhale,

Fill up with that feeling,

That safety,

That security,

Maybe even place two hands on your body if you feel comfortable to do so,

Reminding yourself that you are here.

You are steady.

You are okay.

And it will,

In fact,

Be better than okay.

It will be brilliant.

Exhale.

Last,

Biggest,

Deepest breath here,

Inhale,

Really fill up,

Expand.

Fill up,

Expand into those hands.

If you place them on your body otherwise,

Just fill up,

Expand in your being.

Exhale.

Now tap in,

Tune in to that voice inside of you that knows there's a reason that you're here.

Because on the other side of a big meeting,

On the other side of a difficult conversation,

On the other side of that really important call,

Is more brilliant life.

Is a more aligned,

Magnetic,

Fulfilled version of you.

And there is a reason why you are here right now,

About to step into this.

My friend,

Let me tell you,

You are ready,

Otherwise you would not be here.

Breathe into that knowing now,

Inhale,

Exhale.

One more here,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Last one,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Last moment here,

My friend,

What is a word that you need to hear in this moment to anchor yourself to?

Is it knowing that you are loved,

No matter how this goes?

Is it knowing you are worthy,

No matter what is on the other side of this next hour for you?

Is it knowing that you are brilliant already,

Radiant already,

That you have it all right here?

Just listen to that word that bubbles up from within,

Inside of you,

That inner wisdom.

It's right here,

My friend.

And inhale,

Exhale.

Stay with that word and the feeling that rises,

That flows through your body,

Your being with that word.

My friend,

It's already here.

You've got this.

You are more powerful,

More brilliant,

More radiant than you give yourself credit for,

But give that credit to yourself right here,

Right now,

Because my friend,

It is due.

When you're ready,

Softly,

Slowly open your eyes.

Very inspiring ! The total body clench and release is a brilliant concept. Surprisingly, it's a great way to expell stress.
