This practice will offer you a nurturing space where you can gently release any lingering doubts or fears and embrace a perspective filled with optimism and potential.
I invite you to find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Make any adjustments needed to make sure you are at ease.
Whether you're on a chair,
Cushion,
Or resting directly on the ground,
Allow your body to feel supported and secure.
As you settle into your space,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a moment to connect with your surroundings.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Feel its steadiness and let it ground you.
Turn your attention inward.
How do you feel today?
There's no right or wrong answer,
Simply observe.
Are you carrying any tension in your body,
Perhaps on your shoulders,
Neck,
Or forehead?
Acknowledge these sensations without judgment.
Now turn your attention to your breath.
Don't try to change it,
Just observe it.
Feel the air as it enters your nostrils,
Cool and refreshing.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest or your belly as you breathe.
Allow your thoughts to pass like clouds in the sky.
You might notice many thoughts,
Or perhaps just a few.
They may be about the past,
Present,
Or future.
Whatever they are,
Simply observe them without getting entangled.
Imagine each thought drifting away,
Leaving you in a state of calm.
With each breath,
Feel yourself becoming more relaxed and centered.
Your mind is becoming clearer and your body is feeling lighter.
This time is for you,
A precious moment to reconnect with your inner self.
Remember,
There's no hurry,
No destination,
You are exactly where you need to be.
Allow this moment to be peaceful,
A gentle pause in your day.
Now let's focus on deepening your breath.
Inhale slowly,
Feeling the air fill your lungs,
Expanding your chest and belly.
Hold this breath for a moment,
And then exhale gently,
Releasing all the air,
Feeling a sense of release with each breath out.
Repeat this deep breathing a few more times,
Each breath taking you deeper into relaxation.
With each inhale,
Imagine drawing in peace and tranquility.
With each exhale,
Imagine letting go of any stress or tension.
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
Steady and soothing,
Like waves gently lapping at the shore.
Now,
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Notice the subtle changes in your body and mind as you breathe naturally.
Your heart rate may have slowed,

As you continue to breathe effortlessly,
Shift your attention to a short body relaxation.
Start at the top of your head.
Imagine a warm,
Soothing light there,
Slowly descending.
As this light moves down,
It relaxes each part of your body.
Feel this light easing any tension in your forehead,
Your eyes and your jaw.
Allow your facial muscles to relax completely.
This calming light moves down to your neck and shoulders,
A common area for tension.
Feel the muscles here soften and release their hold.
Let this sensation of relaxation flow down your arms,
All the way to your fingertips.
Each part of your body touched by this light feels deeply relaxed and at peace.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your chest and back.
Feel the light soothing your chest,
Your upper back and then flowing down to your lower back.
Release any tightness you feel in these areas.
Let this peaceful sensation continue down your body,
Relaxing your abdomen,
Hips and thighs.
Feel the relaxation moving down to your knees,
Calves and feet.
Your entire body is now enveloped in a sense of deep relaxation and comfort.
In this state of deep relaxation,
Your mind is open and your body is at ease.
We will now focus on cultivating positivity and hope.
Imagine a field around you,
Vast and open,
Under a clear blue sky.
This field represents the unlimited possibilities and opportunities that the new year holds.
Picture yourself standing in the middle of this field,
