Welcome friend to today's meditation on becoming what you already are.

Go ahead and take some time to drop into a comfortable seat or you may choose to lie down.

Once you arrive in this comfortable space let your eyelids become heavy and let your body sink deeply into stillness.

Let's take a deep breath in through your nose.

Big open mouth exhale let that go.

Let's do that one more time.

Take a deep breath in filling up completely.

Pause at the top and sigh it out.

As we take a journey deep within ourselves I'd like to share a quote with you.

Allow your breath to return to a natural rhythm as you let my words just wash over you.

You find out that you are not what you believe you are because you never chose your beliefs.

These beliefs were there when you were born.

You find out that you are also not the body because you start to function without your body.

You start to notice that you are not the dream,

That you are not the mind.

If you go deeper you start noticing that you are not the soul either.

Then what you find out is so incredible.

You find out that what you are is a force.

A force that makes it possible for your body to live.

A force that makes it possible for your whole mind to dream.

Without you,

Without this force,

Your body would collapse on the floor.

Without you,

Your whole dream would just dissolve into nothing.

What you really are is that force that is life.

If you look into the eyes of someone near you,

You will see the self-awareness,

The manifestation of life shining in his eyes.

Life is not the body.

It is not the mind.

It is not the soul.

It is a force.

Through this force,

A newborn baby becomes a child,

A teenager,

An adult.

It reproduces and grows old.

When life leaves the body,

The body decomposes and turns to dust.

You are life passing through your body,

Passing through your mind,

Passing through your soul.

Once you find that out,

Not with logic,

Not with intellect,

But because you can feel that life,

You find out that you are the force that makes the flowers open and close.

That makes the hummingbird fly from flower to flower.

You find out that you are in every tree.

You are in every animal,

Vegetable,

And rock.

You are that force that moves the wind and breathes through your body.

The whole universe is a living being that is moved by the force,

And that is what you are.

You are life.

These are the wise words of Don Miguel Ruiz from his book,

The Vastry of Love.

Let's use the mantra today,

So Hum,

Meaning I am that I am.

As you breathe in,

Notice the natural so,

And as you breathe out,

You may hear hum.

As you breathe in,

You hear so,

And as you breathe out,

You hear hum.

So is the Sanskrit word translating to I am,

And hum translates to that.

So hum,

I am that I am.

That which refers to all creation,

The one breathing us all.

Repeat this mantra,

So Hum,

Linking breath to mantra.

Inhale for so,

Exhale for hum.

And if you drift away in thought,

Which is ever so natural,

Gently guide yourself back to the mantra,

So Hum.

And when you hear chimes,

Sit gently and listen for my voice to guide you out.

So hum,

I am that I am.

Bring your attention now back to your body.

Observe your body as a whole.

Start to bring in some movement.

As it feels right to you.

Bring your attention now to your mind.

Notice the quality of your thoughts,

Your mood,

And emotions in this moment.

And if your eyes are closed,

Slowly begin to flutter them open.

Bringing your attention back to the room around you.

Taking notice of all that is.

Thank you for joining me for today's meditation.

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Go with peace.
