Welcome to this guided meditation on the Qabbalistic Sfira of Malchut.
So go ahead and find a comfortable place to sit.
And as you're ready,
You can gently close the eyes and slowly feel the breath.
The breath guides us into presence,
Into the here and now.
And the breath cycles through this in and out.
And notice that you can only take in breath when you empty out,
Meaning when there is space to receive.
Without the emptiness,
There's no space to receive and the light can't come through.
And that is this divine aspect of Malchut.
Malchut is the manifestation of God's presence in the world.
Often associated with the divine feminine,
It is a receptive Sfira.
It receives all the divine light that is channeled through Yesod.
Yesod gets all the light from the upper Sfirot and channels it into Malchut.
So Malchut is this empty space that receives the light and because it receives this light,
It can create.
And in Qabbalah,
There's this deep relationship between reception and creativity.
It is only when you are empty,
When you fully receive,
That you create.
And Malchut can be translated as kingdom or queendom,
Sovereignty,
Divine royalty,
Because it is the inherent royal nature of our beings that is activated through this divine aspect.
Malchut is known also as Shrina,
Which is the divine feminine of God,
Which means to dwell.
It's God's presence that dwells on this earth.
It is this aspect that is all-pervasive.
It is the earth.
It is reality itself.
It's the final step of creation.
It's the expression of it all.
And again,
That creation only comes from that place of emptiness.
So see how that lives in you and your body.
What it's like to empty out,
To receive the light.
What it's like to ground in the earth,
In the earthly creation.
And notice that there is a divine royal quality to it.
God's world,
God's kingdom,
God's creation is royalty.
And you can imagine that with this aspect of throne or beauty,
Whatever visualizations come to you when you think of royalty.
And royalty is not about status.
It's not about being higher than the others.
But it's actually tapping into our authentic expression of who we are.
It's connected to this letting go.
Because the deepest beauty is when we surrender.
So see if you can just let go of anything you think you need to be and rest in the realization that your royal self actually comes from being,
From emptying out everything else and simply being who you are.
Because the divine essence is already in you.
So there's no need to achieve or to do anything to change that.
It's actually about relaxing into the truth.
And this is this aspect of malchut.
Relaxing into our being,
Allowing ourselves to receive,
Allowing ourselves to see the divine beauty and all of the world.
Basking in this glory and this grace of God's wisdom.
It's the celebration of the light.
Take another couple moments here to really feel in to this presence of malchut.
Noticing what resonates,
Noticing how it feels in the body.
And slowly,
As you're ready,
You can return to the breath,
Which guides us into the here now.
Remembering that we can inhale the breath only once we've exhaled,
Once we have this space to receive.
Gently open the eyes and take a moment to reflect on the wisdom that was shared here and what this aspect of malchut gifts to you in your life.
