This is a recording of a live meditation session on InsightTimer about confidence and motivation. The beginning of the song "Hero," which was used at the end of the recording was cut, it was played during the live meditation to make you feel more like a hero. Let's go back to when you were a toddler and remember when motivation, curiosity, and persistence were a part of you. We are going to bring it back to your present life. Some techniques from Rapid Transformational Therapy are applied.

Just make yourself comfortable.

Your feet and hands are not touching.

Find the really imagined spot on the ceiling or look at your own eyebrows.

Don't move your eyes until I say so.

Look up.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Every time you breathe,

You're relaxing deeper and deeper.

Don't move your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Every time you breathe,

Your eyelids are becoming heavier and heavier.

Take another deep breath in.

Don't move your eyes.

And as you breathe out,

Close your eyelids slowly,

Slowly.

Start keeping your eyeballs up.

Closing your eyelids down,

Keeping your eyeballs up.

Nerves and muscles in and around your eyes are relaxed,

Switched off,

And you are going deeper and deeper.

You can forget all about your eyes now.

Your eyelids are becoming heavier and heavier.

And with every word I say,

You're getting more and more relaxed.

Imagine ten steps in front of you and those of you who have a phobia,

Imagine ten squares.

Every time you take a step down,

You are going to relax deeper.

Every time you take a square,

You are going to relax deeper.

You are taking step ten.

You are going deeper.

You are taking step nine.

You can see your feet.

Feel your feet.

Feel your feet.

Trading each step and you are going deeper.

You are taking step eight.

As every nerve,

Every muscle in your body turns loose,

Lets loose,

And you are going deeper.

You are taking step seven.

Going deeper.

Drifting deeper.

Sinking deeper.

You are taking step six.

As every noise,

Every voice,

Every sound from outside is helping you to relax deeper.

You are half way down.

You are taking step five.

Going deeper.

Drifting deeper.

Into an awareness of yourself.

You are taking step four.

Feeling more and more relaxed.

You are taking step three.

You can feel your body sinking into that bed or sofa or chair,

Wherever you are,

And you are going deeper.

You are taking step three.

Going deeper into an awareness of yourself.

You are taking step two now.

As every noise,

Every voice you hear from outside helping you to relax deeper.

You are taking step one.

You are feeling deeply relaxed.

As you are taking step zero,

You can find yourself floating through the middle of that zero.

Leaving every thought,

All your worries outside of that zero.

Floating through the middle.

Just you and my voice.

When you are deeply relaxed,

You have an access to our subconscious mind.

Our subconscious mind is like a hard disk on our laptop.

It stores everything and from time to time we need to revise our hard disk.

As you have an access to your subconscious mind now and your conscious mind is relaxed,

You can remember everything you need to remember.

Right now,

I want you to go back to a same event and time when you felt unworthy.

When you go back to that scene,

Look who is around you.

How old are you?

How are you feeling in this scene?

Is there someone who criticized you?

Is there someone who rejected you?

Is there someone who left you alone?

What do you feel?

Not enough?

Stupid?

Silly?

Ashamed?

What do you feel?

Can you revise all the emotions you feel in this scene?

Just say to yourself,

This is not me.

If it was me now,

I would know how to answer and how to react.

But this is not me.

By saying this to yourself when you were younger,

You are breaking the connection between your present and this scene in the past.

As you feel lighter by disconnecting from that scene in the past,

I want you to ask your subconscious mind to bring another scene in your mind which has everything to do with lack of confidence in your present life.

And whatever scene comes to your mind first,

Work with this scene.

How old are you?

Who is there with you?

And most importantly,

What do you feel in this scene?

Is it shame?

Is it rejection?

Is it criticism?

Is it lack of support?

Does it make you feel silly?

Does it make you feel rejected,

Unloved?

What do you feel?

All the feelings you experience in this scene,

Revise them.

Why do you feel this way?

And as you revise these scenes,

Looking at this scene,

Looking at the image of this scene,

Just say this is not me.

This is not me because now I would react differently.

This is not me because I am worthy.

As you say these words to yourself,

I want you to imagine that this scene from your past disconnects from your present.

And now ask your subconscious mind to show another scene,

Vital vivid scene from your past,

Which has everything to do with why you are not feeling confident enough today.

Why can't you achieve your goals?

Why can't you make decisions and follow them?

What affects you so much in your present life?

What is it from your past?

And as you ask your subconscious mind to show you this scene,

This scene comes up.

Look at this scene.

Revise it.

Who are you with?

Where are you?

And most importantly,

What do you feel?

Rejected?

Criticized?

Not good enough?

What have you done?

What people are saying?

Can you feel all those emotions from that scene?

I just want you to look at it and say this is not me.

I am worthy.

I am talented.

I am enough.

By saying these words I want you to imagine how this scene from the past disconnecting from your present.

As you look through all these scenes now you do understand that your emotions from the past affect your present.

You do understand that confidence is there with us when we are born and throughout our life we face criticism,

Rejection and as children we don't know how to deal with it.

I want you to go back to the day when you were born,

When you were a toddler,

To that period of time when you were learning how to walk.

Remember when you tried standing up and you kept falling down?

How much motivation you had?

You were so persistent,

You were so stubborn and falls did not affect your determination to learn how to walk.

You were trying,

You were falling down,

You were standing up,

You were so persistent.

And now as you know that this motivation,

This persistence is within you,

You understand that.

Now you want to bring it back to your present life because this is how you reach your goals.

This is how you achieve your goals and maintain your plans.

We were born with confidence.

This is our right to be confident,

Persistent and motivated because that's what's ours.

That's what's yours.

By bringing back those positive emotions,

Feeling of motivation,

Persistence,

You feel deep inside you that baby who wanted to walk and this baby learned how to walk through mistakes.

This baby was so motivated because this baby wanted to walk and in the end this baby learned how to walk.

So this baby is you.

You are persistent.

Motivation is a part of you.

It's what you were born with.

We were born with natural pace,

With our equilibrium.

We cannot shake the balance.

We need to maintain what we were born with.

You did not learn how to walk during one day.

You were learning for weeks and what it took you?

Mistakes,

Faults.

But you got there.

From now on,

When you remember about that baby,

You are boosting your motivation because you know you cannot lose what was given to you from birth.

Motivation is your right to move forward.

Motivation is the way to keep the balance.

Motivation is a part of you.

As you move forward throughout your life,

You decide for yourself that one step at a time is better than absolutely nothing.

You care about the balance because your balance is everything.

In order for change to last,

You must work with the fundamental force.

Even if it is just one piece ofless power in your daily life itнуs aputure.

It is youranie.

A natural set point.

A normal pace.

A typical rhythm.

Where is your rhythm?

What is your equilibrium?

If you reach far beyond this equilibrium,

You will fall back.

This is why you find your equilibrium,

You know your goal and you move towards it every single day.

You apply five or ten or two minutes to your daily routine doing something new towards achieving your goals,

Towards achieving your dreams.

You are going through small wins each day in your life.

And when you win each day in your life,

You praise yourself.

You remind yourself how grateful you are,

How phenomenal you are,

How absolutely talented you are.

You feel enough because this is one step towards achieving your goals.

You focus on changing your normal day and you find your life changing naturally.

And this is what we call equilibrium.

When you do something new every day,

You get used to that feeling of achievement,

Feeling of reward.

And you celebrate every moment.

You celebrate.

As you listen to my voice,

My suggestions are staying with you in your subconscious mind and every day when you wake up in the morning,

You naturally,

Easily look at the mirror and you say one step at a time.

Every day I'm doing something new.

Every day I discover life.

I discover new things.

And that's why I stay motivated.

That's why I stay inspired,

Empowered.

And this is how I achieve my goals.

You are enough.

Motivation is a part of you.

You are persistent.

You are stubborn.

And you love new changes.

You love what you do.

Applying these changes into your life on everyday basis because this is who you are.

You love challenges.

You like accomplishments.

You praise yourself for every accomplishment in your life.

And you carry on moving forward achieving your goals because this is who you are.

You are an achiever.

And by taking one step at a time,

Implementing small changes,

Small wins every day makes you a winner.

You are the winner.

Every day in your life you are the winner.

When you do something new in your life,

Every day you can feel it in your blood.

You are winning.

With this motivation,

With this determination,

With this feeling of love,

Feeling of achievement,

On the count from 1 to 5,

You are going to open your eyes.

On the count from 1 and 2,

Move your toes and fingers slowly,

Slowly.

On the count of 4,

Take a deep breath in.

And on the count of 5,

Breathe out.

Opening your eyes,

Feeling awake,

Feeling like you want to be a hero and change the world.

Opening your eyes,

Feeling present.

Wonderful! I listened to this on a Saturday morning when I had no motivation to do anything and was laying in bed until past 1pm while it was sunny outside. After listening I feel completely restored and with even more drive than expected. The background song at the end felt like a surprise gift as well and after it cut off, the first thing I jumped to do was put on a song for myself to continue this feeling into my day. Thank you. 😊
